Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of Sales Growth, Capital Structure, and Liquidity on Company Value in the property sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). Panel data from 31 property firms over the 2019–2023 period (155 firm-year observations) were analyzed using the Random Effects Model, selected based on statistical tests to address unobserved heterogeneity across firms and time. The results indicate that Capital Structure (DER) has a significant negative effect on Company Value (PBV), supporting the Trade-Off Theory in the context of excessive debt risk under high interest rates. Liquidity (CR) has a significant positive effect, highlighting the importance of stable cash flow in sustaining firm value. Meanwhile, Sales Growth (SG) is found to be statistically insignificant, suggesting that although sales expansion may enhance firm value, post-pandemic market uncertainty causes investor skepticism regarding its sustainability. Practically, the findings imply that investors should carefully assess a firm's debt policy and liquidity strategy, while corporate managers must ensure that sales growth is supported by sustainable financing and operational efficiency rather than aggressive expansion. This study contributes to the literature by exploring the unique dynamics of Indonesia’s property sector, which is highly influenced by government policies and macroeconomic volatility. Future research is recommended to incorporate macroeconomic variables and differentiate between residential and commercial property subsectors to provide deeper insights.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the impact of capital structure, liquidity, activity ratio, and profitability on firm value in the pharmaceutical sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the period from 2018 to 2023. A quantitative approach was employed using multiple linear regression analysis to analyze panel data from 10 pharmaceutical companies, resulting in a total of 60 observations (n = 60). The results of the regression analysis indicate that only capital structure has a significant effect on firm value. In contrast, liquidity, activity ratio, and profitability do not show a significant impact. These findings were influenced by the dynamics of the capital market during the study period, particularly the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, which altered investors' strategies and priorities. The results highlight the importance of adopting a more comprehensive approach in evaluating firm value within the pharmaceutical industry by incorporating external factors and additional financial metrics. Future research is recommended to include macroeconomic variables and industry policies to gain a more holistic understanding.

Abstract

Determinant Legal Protection consists of business licenses, distribution permits, registered trademarks, and legality of business entities. From a theoretical perspective, this research contributes a novel integrated model that connects legal protection with MSME growth via digital platforms. It advances the literature by framing digitalization not only as a technological or market tool but as a strategic outcome of legal infrastructure. By quantifying both direct and indirect effects within a Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) framework, this study strengthens empirical understanding of how regulatory formalization supports enterprise digitalization and growth. This model can be adapted or extended for cross-regional or sectoral studies in emerging markets. From a practical standpoint, the findings underscore that legal formalization—when combined with digital platform readiness—produces greater developmental impacts on MSMEs. Policymakers and stakeholders should therefore prioritize joint initiatives that streamline legal registration while simultaneously enabling digital onboarding, such as e-license platforms linked to e-commerce or fintech ecosystems. The research uses quantitative research, utilizing descriptive and inferential analysis through the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) technique. The utilized data comprises both primary and secondary sources, employing data collection methods such as questionnaires. MSME actors in Sungai Penuh City with a total of 150 are the sample of this study. The result of this study, business licenses, distribution permits, registered trademarks, and legality of business entities have proven to have a significant effect on legal protection. Legal protection has a positive and significant effect on digital trading platforms and MSME development.

Abstract

Village heads play a crucial role in local governance and public service delivery in Indonesia. The concept of servant leadership, emphasizing service, empathy, and community empowerment, has gained attention as an effective leadership model. However, the role of religiosity in shaping servant leadership behavior and its subsequent impact on the performance of village apparatus has not been sufficiently explored. This study aims to examine how religiosity influences the implementation of servant leadership among village heads and how this leadership style, in turn, affects the performance of village apparatus in delivering public services. A quantitative approach was employed, using a survey method with 147 respondents comprising village heads in Kerinci Regency, Jambi Province. The data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with AMOS software to test the relationships between dimensions of servant leadership, religiosity, and performance outcomes. The findings indicate that several dimensions of servant leadership—such as altruistic calling, wisdom, persuasive mapping, organizational stewardship, humility, and service—positively and significantly influence servant leadership behavior. Religiosity also has a significant positive effect on servant leadership but does not directly impact performance. Instead, servant leadership mediates the relationship between religiosity and the performance of village apparatus. Servant leadership serves as an effective conduit through which the religiosity of village heads enhances the performance of village apparatus. These findings suggest that integrating religious values into leadership practices can foster more ethical and service-oriented governance in rural communities.

Abstract

The effectiveness of information systems plays a crucial role in enhancing organizational operations, particularly in the management of non-medical goods requisitions in healthcare institutions. At Haji Jakarta Hospital, the previous manual method of managing requisitions led to inefficiencies such as processing delays, data inaccuracies, and difficulties in tracking inventory. This study aims to design and develop a web-based information system to optimize the requisition process for non-medical goods. The research applies the Rapid Application Development (RAD) methodology, which includes requirements planning, design workshop, and implementation phases. Data were gathered through interviews, observations, and document analysis, followed by system modeling using Unified Modeling Language (UML). The system was developed using PHP as the programming language, MySQL as the database, and XAMPP as the development platform. To ensure the functionality of the application, black box testing was conducted, focusing on validating input, process, and output functions. The resulting system provides key features such as real-time requisition tracking, inventory monitoring, and automated reporting. Compared to the previous manual system, the new application enabled hospital staff to process requisitions more quickly and with greater accuracy, reducing average processing time from approximately two days to just a few hours, and minimizing errors caused by repeated manual data entry. All tested system functions performed successfully, improving transparency and documentation in the requisition process. In conclusion, the developed system significantly improves the accuracy, speed, and traceability of requisition processes and can serve as a reference for similar digital transformation initiatives in other healthcare institutions.

Abstract

Changing work patterns and increased awareness of mental health have driven attention to the issue of work-life balance (WLB), especially among Generation Z who are beginning to dominate the workforce. However, there is still a gap in understanding how this generation perceives and responds to the challenges of maintaining a balance between professional and personal life. This research aims to examine Generation Z's perceptions, challenges and adaptive strategies towards WLB through a systematic literature study approach. The method used involved searching scholarly articles from various accredited databases using relevant keywords, with selection based on specific inclusion and exclusion criteria. From the review of six key articles, it was found that Generation Z views WLB as a flexible integration of work and personal life, rather than a separation of time. They face challenges such as rigid conventional work culture, long working hours, digital pressures, and lack of mental health support. To overcome these, Generation Z employs strategies such as opting for flexible work, setting boundaries on work communication, and seeking out organizations that pay attention to employee well-being. These findings have important implications for organizations and policymakers in designing a more adaptive work system to support career sustainability and well-being of young people in the modern workforce.

Abstract

This study explores the role of transformational leadership in improving employee performance during digital transformation at PT Kawasan Industri Makassar (PT KIMA), an industrial estate management company in Indonesia. Using a qualitative case study approach, data were collected through interviews with eight managers and key employees, participatory observation, and document analysis. Findings reveal that the four dimensions of transformational leadership—idealized influence, inspirational motivation, intellectual stimulation, and individualized consideration—enhance employee adaptability to digital systems, foster interdepartmental collaboration, and improve operational efficiency. Practically, the study suggests the importance of leadership development programs incorporating digital skills and emotional intelligence to support organizational change. Theoretically, it contributes to digital leadership literature by framing transformational leadership within industrial management in a developing country context. The results highlight the necessity of adaptive leadership to manage technological disruption and optimize human resource performance in the digital era.

Abstract

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) education has become a crucial component in shaping responsible entrepreneurial attitudes. Accordingly, Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) have consistently integrated CSR into their academic curricula to foster ethical awareness and sustainability-oriented values among prospective business leaders. In this context, HEIs play a strategic role in cultivating a generation conscious of social responsibility and sustainable development, although research on the influence of CSR education on sustainable entrepreneurial intentions remains limited in the literature. This study aims to examine the effect of CSR education on students’ sustainable entrepreneurial intentions based on the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) framework. A quantitative approach was employed using a survey method targeting students currently enrolled in or who have completed CSR-related courses. Data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The results indicate that attitude toward behavior and perceived behavioral control significantly affect sustainable entrepreneurial intentions. Conversely, subjective norm does not have a direct effect but becomes significant when moderated by CSR education. These findings reinforce the critical role of CSR education in strengthening pro-social values that encourage more responsible entrepreneurial intentions. This study underscores the importance of integrating CSR education into entrepreneurship curricula to develop future entrepreneurs with a strong orientation toward social and environmental sustainability

Abstract

The high rate of turnover intention among Generation Z, especially in Pontianak City, is a serious concern for organizations, as it can disrupt work stability and productivity. One of the main factors that trigger the intention to leave a job is the conflict between work and family roles (Work-Family Conflict), which often leads to burnout. This study aims to analyze the effect of Work-Family Conflict on Turnover Intention, either directly or indirectly through the mediation of burnout. This research uses a quantitative approach with 152 Gen Z respondents who work in Pontianak City, and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) through WarpPLS 8.0 software. The results showed that Work-Family Conflict has a positive and significant effect on Burnout, and both Work-Family Conflict and Burnout have a significant positive effect on Turnover Intention. In addition, burnout also proved to be a significant mediating variable in the relationship between Work-Family Conflict and Turnover Intention. These findings provide important implications for organizations in designing work policies that support work-family balance and burnout prevention strategies to reduce turnover intention among young employees.

Abstract

This study investigates the role that Audit Capacity Stress (ACS) plays as a mediator between different parameters and earnings management. The study focuses on 36 businesses that were listed between 2020 and 2022 on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) and included in the Kompas100 stock index. Purposive sampling was employed in a quantitative associative analysis method. Version 26 of the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) was used to analyze the data. The findings indicate that while Financial Distress (FD) has no discernible impact on Audit Capacity Stress (ACS), Audit Firm Reputation (AFR) and Audit Fee (AF) do. Earnings Management (EM) is also impacted by Audit Firm Reputation (AFR), Financial Distress (FD), Audit Fee (AF), and Audit Capacity Stress (ACS). While ACS does not mediate the relationship between Financial Distress (FD) and Earnings Management (EM), it does mediate the relationship between Audit Firm Reputation (AFR) and Audit Fee (AF) on Earnings Management (EM). This study provides information for more investigation into the elements influencing earnings management and the function of audit capacity stress.
