Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of public information disclosure policies at UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung through a study of satisfaction surveys, digital analysis, and public information services. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach supported by quantitative analysis obtained from user survey results, digital traffic data, and documentation of public information services recorded by PPID. The results of the study show that the public information disclosure policy at UIN Bandung has been quite effective in providing access to information that is transparent, easy to reach, and in accordance with regulations. The level of public satisfaction is relatively high, supported by the increase in digital access over time, as well as the responsiveness of public information services. However, there are several areas for improvement, especially related to digital channel optimization, sustainability of socialization, and improving the quality of face-to-face services. These findings affirm the importance of synergy between policies, digital technology, and public services in realizing an accountable and participatory university.

Abstract

This research explores the use of song as pedagogical media in vocabulary mastery among young learners. Recognizing the important role of vocabulary in language mastery, this research aims to address the challenges faced by young learners in mastering English vocabulary, especially in a monotonous learning environment. The research focuses on two main aspects: the use of song in vocabulary mastery and teachers' perceptions of this method. Through qualitative research methods, including observations and interviews with English teachers, this research sought to analyze how song can facilitate vocabulary retention and engagement in young learners. This research used the data analysis technique by Miles and Huberman (1984), there were three stages in data analysis: data reduction, data display, and conclusion. The research findings show that song not only make learning fun, but also serve as an effective medium to improve vocabulary mastery. The research highlights the importance of selecting age-appropriate song that match students' interests and the importance of integrating song into the core teaching process rather than using them only as ice-breakers. The research concludes with recommendations for teachers to regularly incorporate song into their lesson plans and suggests future research to further explore the impact of different music genres on language learning. Overall, this research underscores the potential of music as a dynamic tool in fostering a positive learning environment and improving vocabulary mastery among young learners.

Abstract

The deep learning approach is the latest innovation in the Indonesian education system proposed by the Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education in early 2025. The essence of this approach is to create a learning process that is aware, meaningful, and joyful for students. The purpose of the study is to examine the implementation of deep learning from the way teachers plan, organize, implement, and evaluate deep learning in elementary schools. The research method uses a qualitative method with interview data collection techniques and observation of learning in the classroom. The respondent is an elementary school classroom teacher in the Mantrijeron Yogyakarta Ministry of Education who has implemented deep learning. Thematic data analysis with the help of atlas.ti application 9. The results of the research of elementary school teachers implementing deep learning are still very limited, starting from making a learning plan exactly the same as the example from the ministry, there are no new innovations, learning activities that are just following the directions of the curriculum reference book have not shown creativity independently of the teacher and in terms of organizing students, educators emphasize more on grouping students in learning. A tool to measure the success of deep learning can be done by means of project-based assessments, percentages and self-assessment.

Abstract

This study aims to comprehensively examine the concept and implementation of the Total Quality Management (TQM) model from the perspective of Islamic education. TQM, as a managerial approach emphasizing the involvement of all organizational elements, process control, continuous improvement, and stakeholder satisfaction, is believed to offer effective solutions to the challenges of improving the quality of educational institutions. However, in the context of Islamic education, TQM cannot be applied mechanically as in industrial or business sectors; instead, it needs to be adapted to align with Islamic spiritual and moral values such as amanah (professional responsibility), ihsan (pursuit of excellence and perfection in work), and akhlaq (ethics and personal integrity). This research employs a qualitative-descriptive approach, utilizing an extensive literature review of studies and scientific publications from nationally accredited journals (Sinta 1-2) published between 2021 and 2025. The reviewed sources include empirical studies on the application of TQM in Islamic schools, madrasahs, pesantrens, and Islamic higher education institutions in Indonesia, as well as contemporary quality management theories relevant to Islamic values. The analysis maps the alignment between TQM principles, such as leadership, continuous improvement, customer focus, and teamwork, and Islamic management principles, including tauhid, syura, trust, and istikamah (steadfastness). The findings reveal that the implementation of TQM in Islamic educational institutions significantly contributes to academic quality enhancement, managerial efficiency, and the strengthening of value-based organizational culture. Institutions that integrate TQM principles with Islamic values show improvements in accreditation status, student satisfaction, teacher and lecturer productivity, and public trust. Moreover, the integration of spiritual values with modern management principles has proven to be a key factor in achieving competitive excellence and global relevance while maintaining Islamic identity. Therefore, this study emphasizes the importance of the Islamic Total Quality Management (TQM-I) model as a holistic quality management paradigm that not only focuses on achieving performance standards and efficiency but also on reinforcing the moral, spiritual, and social dimensions of education. This model serves as a strategic foundation for developing internal quality assurance systems across Islamic educational institutions, aiming to establish excellence, competitiveness, and a strong Islamic character.
