Early Childhood Education and Development Studies ECEDS merupakan salah satu jurnal pendidikan anak usia dini yang menerbitkan, artikel penelitian, laporan studi lapangan, laporan studi kasus, kajian pustaka baik sekala lokal, nasional maupun internasional. Artikel yang diterbitkan dalam jurnal ini adalah tulisan asli yang berlum pernah dipublikasian di jurnal manapun. Tujuan Jurnal ECEDS dimaksud adalah sebagai wadah untuk menyebarluaskan informasi yang konstruktif untuk kemajuan pendidikan anak usia dini. Abstract

The purpose of this classroom action research is to find out the increase in the ability to recognize letters through alphabet box media games in group A children at La Consolacion School Kindergarten in 2022/2023. The research subjects were group A La Consolacion School Larantuka Kindergarten in the 2022/2023 school year, which consisted of 10 children and consisted of 4 boys and 6 girls with an average age of 4 years. This research was conducted in group A TK La Consolacion School, Sarotari village, Larantuka subdistrict, East Flores district, where the researcher was assigned. This research was conducted using two cycles, with each cycle holding 3 meetings. This research was conducted for approximately 3 weeks. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the Application of Alphabetic Media can improve the ability to recognize letters in children aged 4-5 years. Teachers should be more creative in classroom learning, especially in learning media so that they can optimally improve children's language skills. Keywords: ability, language, alphabet box

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether the application of the Buzz Group method to cognitive/mathematics learning can improve student learning outcomes related to counting the number of numbers. This research includes classroom action research (CAR) conducted at Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal Kindergarten, Waikabubak City, West Sumba Regency. The research was conducted in the even semester of the 2022/2023 academic year. The research subjects were group A students and a teacher. Data collection instruments in this study include observation sheets, LKPD, and documentation. The results showed that the application of the Buzz Group method could improve the learning outcomes of Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal Waikabubak Kindergarten students regarding the concept of numbers by using objects 1 to 10. This was illustrated by the increase and achievement of criteria for teacher activity, student activity, and student learning outcomes after studying with the Buzz Group method. The percentage of students who achieve learning outcomes in cycle 2 is 75%. This result increased compared to the learning outcomes of cycle 1 where the percentage of students who achieved learning outcomes was only 25%. The approach used in this study is a qualitative approach and a quantitative approach. This study consisted of quantitative data, namely data obtained from student learning research, while qualitative data was obtained from observations of activities inside and outside the classroom.

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian tindakan kelas ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bermain menyusun menara gelas plastik dapat meningkatkan kemampuan mengenal angka pada anak. Subjek penelitian adalah anak usia 4-5 tahun di TK Negeri Dewi Kayangan berjumlah 10 anak. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah observer yang dilakukan oleh ibu Yustina Luet dan dokumentasi yang dilakukan oleh Nurmala Sari yang berupa video kegiatan anak dalam proses pembelajaran. Teknik analisis data pada penelitian ini menggunakan analisis statistik deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kemampuan mengenal angka sebesar 80%. Berdasarkan evaluasi hasil dari siklus I disimpulkan bahwa melalui bermain menyusun menara gelas plastik dapat meningkatkan kemampuan mengenal angka pada anak. Kata Kunci : Kognitif, Bermain Menyusun Menara Gelas Plastik, Anak usia dini.

Abstract

Who researched the problem effort to improve the fine motor skills of children through paper folding color? the purpose of research is to know children's developing fine motor skills through paper folding color. This research is a classroom action research conducted in two cycles. The place this research is TK (kindergarten) Dharma Wanita (ladies) Seba. The research time is from March to May 2023. Collection techniques sheet format observatory and performance. That has been collected is analyzed by qualitative descriptive technique through the calculation of the presentation. The result of this class action is the first cycle of the fine motor skills of children in group B TK (kindergarten) Dharma Wanita (ladies) Seba to achieve 63,3 %. In the second cycle after applying the color paper media reached 90,9 %. This means there has been an increase in children's fine motor skills in group B TK (kindergarten) Dharma Wanita (ladies) Seba by 27,3 %. Based on the results of research and data analysis can be concluded that the application of the color paper media can improve the motor skills of children in group B TK Dharma Wanita Seba. Abstract

Character education is not new in human history. Parents in various ways, since a long time ago before there were formal educational institutions, have tried to educate their children to be good children according to the norms that apply in their culture. The main role of teachers in character education is teachers as educators, teachers, models and role models, motivators, and evaluators. So the researcher took a study on "the role of teachers in developing children's responsibility character in group B2 at Asisi Onoboi Kindergarten". The type of research used is qualititative research, with a total of 10 respondents divided into 3 interview respondents (teachers) and 7 observation respondents (students of Asisi Onoboi Kindergarten). Based on the results of the study there are three techniques used (storytelling, singing and giving assignments) which are seen from the role of the teacher as an educator.

Abstract

Hadirnya kurikulum merdeka sebagai bagian dari pembelajaran paradigma baru, dimana kurikulum Merdeka Belajar ialah kurikulum dengan pembelajaran intrakurikuler. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengidentifikasi tahapan dan problematika yang dialami dalam pembuatan perencanaan kurikulum merdeka di TK Negeri Kelapa Lima Kupang. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan menggunakan teknik wawancara dan observasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan terdapat problematika yang dialami guru saat menyiapkan perencanaan kurikulum merdeka yaitu keterbatasan guru dalam menganalisis alur tujuan pembelajaran, keterbatasan guru dalam menyiapkan pembelajaran yang kreatif dan berdiferensiasi, serta keterbatasan guru dalam mengembangkan modul ajar projek profil pancasila. Diskusi dan kolaborasi antara kepala sekolah, guru dan orang tua menjadi solusi yang diberikan guru dalam mengatasi keterbatasan yang ada dalam proses perencanaan kurikulum merdeka. Kata Kunci: Problematika; Perencanaan; Kurikulum Merdeka.

Abstract

This research sought to find out the importance of breakfast habit on the activeness of children aged 5-6 years. This research was conducted in Hindu Saraswati Kindergarten of Kupang. The research subjects were parents and teachers in Hindu Saraswati Kindergarten of Kupang. The research data were collected through interview and documentation techniques, and then analyzed descriptively. From the results of this research regarding the importance of breakfast habit on the activeness of children aged 5-6 years in Hindu Saraswati Kindergarten of Kupang, it was revealed that breakfast is very important for the activeness of children aged 5-6 years. Children who eat breakfast are more active in doing all their activities. Their activeness can be seen from several aspects, including courage, participation, creativity, and independence.

Abstract

Implementasi pembelajaran STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics) sangat penting bagi anak usia dini karena dapat mendorong anak untuk berpikir kreatif, meningkatkan kreativitas, serta anak mampu mengidentifikasi permasalahan yang terjadi di sekitarnya dan menemukan solusinya. Masalah dari penelitian ini adalah bagaimana gambaran implementasi pembelajaran STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics) di TK Barunawati Kupang, dengan tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui gambaran implementasi pembelajaran STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics) di TK Barunawati Kupang. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif, dengan subjek yang diteliti yakni 1 kepala sekolah dan 2 orang guru di TK Barunawati Kupang. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah koleksi data/pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan kesimpulan/verifikasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa dalam mengimplementasikan pembelajaran STEAM di TK Barunawati Kupang dilakukan melalui tiga tahapan yakni perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi.

Abstract

This research aims to determine "male teachers' perceptions of motivation to become PAUD teachers in Alak District, Kupang City". The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The research subjects used were male teachers who actively taught at PAUD institutions. Data collection techniques use interview techniques. The results of the research conducted show that the male teacher's perception of the motivation of a male teacher to become a PAUD teacher is due to his inner calling and love of children, receiving support from the principal and colleagues who have given him their trust to dedicate themselves. in PAUD institutions, in line with this, male teachers realize that the presence of a male figure in PAUD institutions is a substitute for a father figure, and the closeness between male teachers and early childhood children is very close, because the children are comfortable and enjoys playing with male teachers.

Abstract

Analisis Pola Asuh Orangtua Bagi Tumbuh Kembang Fisik Pada Balita Stunting Di Desa Boru Kedang Kecamatan Wulanggitang Kabupaten Flores Timur”. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui Pola Asuh Orangtua Bagi Tumbuh Kembang Fisik Pada Balita Stunting Di Desa Boru Kedang Kecamatan Wulanggitang Kabupaten Flores Timur. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskritif teknik pengumpulan data yaitu observasi wawancara,dan dokumentasi . Dalam pengumpulan data peneliti menggunakan teknik triangulasi untuk menentukan informan penelitian. Informan dalam penelitian ini adalah tujuh orangtua yang memiliki balita stunting Di Desa Boru Kedang Kecamatan Wulanggitang Kabupaten Flores Timur. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa oranga yang memiliki balita stunting menerapkan 4 jenis pola asuh diantaranya 1) pola asuh otoriter , 2) pola asuh demokratis , 3 pola asuh permisif), dan 4 pola asuh lalai. Dalam penelitian yang dilakukan dapat disimpulkan bahwa orangtua tidak hanya menggunakan satu jenis pola asuh namun ke empat jenis pola asuh diterapkan.
