Abstract

This Indonesian Language Training for Basic Level Foreign Speakers was attended by Thai residents, which was coordinated by the Faculty of Liberal Arts, Maejo University, Thailand. The purpose of this activity is for BIPA participants from Thailand to know and understand Indonesian. This activity teaches Indonesian from the basics to the participants. BIPA teaching cannot be separated from four aspects of language skills, namely listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills. This activity is intended for participants from Thailand who have different backgrounds. Most of the participants have never received BIPA training. The positive effect of this activity is that BIPA participants can understand and master Indonesian from a basic level which can be applied when visiting Indonesia. In addition, the BIPA participants were also taught the culture in Indonesia so that they would be more familiar with the culture and traditions that exist in Indonesia. Keywords: BIPA, Thailand.

Abstract

Measles is a highly contagious disease and a major cause of child mortality in developing countries, including Indonesia. The incidence of measles is still high in some areas. This study aims to find a solution to overcome measles in Payung village, Bodeh district, Pemalang district. This research uses descriptive qualitative research. The data collection used in this research is observation and documentation. The population is all measles cases residing in the Payung village area, Bodeh sub-district, Pemalang Regency. From the results of the study, it was found that the solution to overcome measles in Payung village requires cooperation between all aspects of society to avoid measles. The community is expected to carry out measles immunization for their children, especially for those under 5 years of age.

Abstract

The purpose of this community service is to provide motivation-based socialization of household waste management to housewives in the Meruyung Village area, Limo Village, Depok. The method used is the lecture method combined with the lecture method plus questions and answers and assignments, the lecture method plus discussion and practice on how to manage motivation-based waste so that it becomes something useful. The target audience in the implementation of this activity is housewives in the neighborhood where abdimas partners are. The implications of this activity are (1) to be able to manage household waste into something useful; (2) enabling IRT (housewives to be creative and innovative towards goods that are no longer useful (garbage) so that they can be of sale value (3) can increase income especially in the post-pandemic period.

Abstract

The purpose of this community service activity is to provide knowledge to RW Youth. 03 Meruyung Village, Limo District, Depok City Assisted by AM Edu Center about the importance of designing speech texts as a provision for public speaking. The abdimas partners were given socialization on how to design an effective speech text as a provision for social life in the future. The method used in this activity is the method of discussion and practice of compiling speech texts interspersed with screenings of films and videos that contain presentations of effective text drafting designs. The output produced in this activity is an article which will be given back to the participants. To measure changes in knowledge in this activity, a questionnaire was also distributed to the audience to measure knowledge before and after the socialization activity.

Abstract

Literacy is no longer a new thing in our world of education. Where literacy should have become a culture not only for students, but also for educators. Literacy itself is an activity of habitual thinking which is also followed by a reading-writing process and will eventually lead to critical thinking, problem solving, scientific development, and the creation of a work. The school literacy movement (GLS) itself is an implementation of the Minister of Education and Culture Regulation Number 23 of 2015 concerning "Business Character Development". Based on the Minister of Education Regulation, this GLS activity is certainly very important for the progress of education in schools. In addition, GLS provides many positive impacts for the students themselves. Progress of critical thinking and being able to create a scientific work. For this reason, socialization about GLS needs to be done to help teachers know more about GLS itself so that they are able to optimally implement literacy movement activities at Al Falah Junior High School.

Abstract

Pada masa pandemi ini, pendidikan di Indonesia berorientasi ke pembelajaran daring atau online, pembelajaran online membuat peserta didik mengalamai kesulitan dalam belajar karena tidak bisa bertatap muka langsung dengan pendidik. Metode mengajar yang tidak tepat dapat membuat kesulitan belajar peserta didik semakin tinggi, karena itulah pendidik dituntut untuk selalu berinovasi mencari metode pembelajaran yang tepat dalam pembelajaran matentaika. Salah satu model pembelajaran yang dapat emingkatkan minat belajar peserta didik adalah pembelajaran dengan model Poe2we berbasis Mathway. Program pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah untuk memberikan informasi kepada pendidik mengenai penggunaan model pembelajaran Poe2we dalam pembelajaran matematika berbasis Mathway, dengan tujuan agar program ini dapat membantu pendidik terus berinovasi dalam pembelajaran matematika.

Abstract

Abstrak Pembelajaran yang berorientasi pada keterampilan tingkat tinggi atau Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) merupakan salah satu upaya yang dapat dilakukan untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran dan lulusan. Hal ini diterapkan sebagai tindak lanjut dari masih rendahnya peringkat Indonesia pada Programme for Internasional Student Assessment (PISA) dibandingkan dengan negara lain. Keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi harus dibarengi dengan Penguatan Pendidikan Karakter (PPK). Pendidikan karakter adalah suatu sistem pendidikan yang bertujuan untuk menanamkan nilai-nilai karakter tertentu kepada peserta didik yang di dalamnya terdapat komponen pengetahuan, kesadaran atau kemauan, serta tindakan untuk melakukan nilai-nilai tersebut. Pendidikan karakter  sangat erat hubungannya dengan pendidikan moral dimana tujuannya adalah untuk membentuk dan melatih kemampuan individu secara terus-menerus guna penyempurnaan diri kearah hidup yang lebih baik. Kata kunci : Keterampilan tingkat tinggi (HOTS), Penguatan Pendidikan Karakter (PPK)   Abstract Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) is an effort that can be made to improve the quality of learning and graduates. This is implemented as a follow-up to Indonesia's low ranking in the Program for International Student Assessment (PISA) compared to other countries. Higher order thinking skills must be accompanied by Strengthening Character Education (KDP). Character education is an educational system that aims to instill certain character values in students in which there is a component of knowledge, awareness or willingness, as well as actions to carry out these values. Character education is closely related to moral education where the goal is to shape and train individual abilities continuously for self-improvement towards a better life. Abstract

Every teacher must have an entrepreneurial instinct as a source of student learning. That is, to produce teachers and students who have entrepreneurial instincts from an early age, teachers must be examples of how to have entrepreneurial instincts. So to be a successful entrepreneur, the main requirement that must be possessed is to have an entrepreneurial spirit and character. The entrepreneurial spirit and character are influenced by skills, abilities or competencies. Competence itself is determined by knowledge and business experience. An entrepreneur requires several skills namely, basic skills and special skills. In order to become a qualified teacher, the teacher must have an entrepreneurial spirit. TEACHER PRENEUR SHIP will be able to bring up the mental attitude and spirit of a teacher who is always active or creative, empowered, creative, passionate, and humble in trying to improve the quality of education through his business activities at school. A teacher who has the nature of TEACHER PRENEUR SHIP will be able to create a new teacher who does not like to question problems, but prefers to solve a problem. A teacher who has an entrepreneurial spirit has 3 competencies, the first is Teaching Skills, Conceptual Skills, and Human Skills.

Field Experience Practice (PPL) or teaching practice is one of the courses that must be followed by every teacher student, including Islamic Religious Education students. Abstract

Character education is very important to instill, shape and develop national character values. Because education does not only educate students to become intelligent human beings with high intellectuals, it also builds individuals with noble character. National education functions to develop capabilities and shape the nation's character and civilization in educating the nation's life. National education aims to develop human potential that has faith and piety to God. material on the formation of religious character. The implementation is carried out in three stages, the first stage is the preparation stage. conduct a preliminary survey to see conditions in the field to coordinate early on the implementation of socialization activities on the formation of religious character. The purpose of this socialization activity is to increase knowledge of religious character formation to increase the character of MTS Salafiyah Wiradesa students. The material given during the socialization of the formation of religious character can go through stages including understanding, methods, values, benefits and application in life, the presenters provide explanations andexamples of each method of forming religious character
