Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of organizational culture on employee performance at Bungong Jaroe Playground and Restaurant. The research method used in this study uses a quantitative approach. The population is 44 people. The sampling technique uses saturated samples so that the number of samples in this study is 44 respondents. The data analysis technique uses simple linear regression. The results of the study show that there is a positive and significant effect of the effect of organizational culture on the employee performance at Bungong Jaroe Playground and Restaurant. This is evidenced by the tcount > ttable value, namely 7.785 > 2.018 with a probability value (significance) = 0.000, which is below 0.05.

Abstract

This article aims to analyze the education and coaching system at the Darul Istiqamah Islamic Boarding School in Makassar, as well as the role of Kiai and teachers in managing students. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method, involving interviews, observations, and documentation to obtain in-depth data on aspects of education in Islamic boarding schools. The results of the study indicate that the Darul Istiqamah Islamic Boarding School applies a holistic approach in fostering the character and religious knowledge of students. The role of Kiai and teachers is very significant in directing and guiding students through interactive and participatory teaching methods. In addition, this study identifies the challenges faced in the process of accepting students and organizing their social lives. The conclusion of this study confirms that the Darul Istiqamah Islamic Boarding School is committed to improving the quality of education by maintaining local religious and cultural values, and adapting to the times. The existence of this Islamic boarding school not only contributes to religious education, but also to the formation of the character of students who have noble morals and are ready to contribute positively to society.

Abstract

This study discusses the use of short film media entitled Berubah on the ability to write short story texts of class XI OTKP 1 students of SMK As-Syafi'iyah Jakarta. This study aims to (1) determine the writing skills of class XI OTKP 1 students of SMK As-Syafi'iyah Jakarta in writing short story texts (2) To determine that the short film media entitled Berubah is effective for learning to write short story texts of class XI OTKP 1 students of SMK As-Syafi'iyah Jakarta, and (3) To determine the results of the use of short film media entitled Berubah in learning to write short story texts of class XI OTKP 1 students of SMK As-Syafi'iyah Jakarta. The method used in this study is descriptive qualitative. The subjects of this study were 14 short stories created by class XI OTKP 1 students of SMK As-Syafi'iyah Jakarta in the 2022/2023 academic year. Data collection techniques in this study were observation, tests, interviews, and documentation. The assessment aspects in short story writing skills include the suitability of the story to the theme, the completeness of the elements/structure of the text, the accuracy of diction, and the accuracy of spelling and punctuation. The results of the study showed that the use of short film media in short story writing skills in students was declared successful with an average score of 80.35 and was included in the good category. The recapitulation results showed that 3 students with a percentage of 21% obtained a score with a very good predicate, 9 students with a percentage of 64% obtained a score with a good predicate, and 2 students with a percentage of 14% obtained a score with a sufficient predicate. Based on these data, it can be concluded that short film media is effective for use in learning short story writing skills.

Abstract

The opportunity given to children with special needs to learn together with other children in a school is given in inclusive education services. Inclusive education is expected as an effort to absorb the various abilities of students who have various differences and potentials and to provide support to enable them to participate in regular education activities as much as possible. Inclusive education can be an appropriate means of instilling students' character values to appreciate differences, foster an attitude of caring, increase a sense of mutual cooperation and tolerance among others. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. This research aims to describe the management of character education for children with special needs at Multi Talenta Elementary School. The things studied include the process of planning, organising, implementing and assessing character education. The subjects in this study included the principal, homeroom teacher, accompanying teacher, children with special needs coordinator, students and guardians of Multi Talenta Elementary School. The results of this study show that the process of managing character education starting from the planning, organising, implementing and assessing process has gone well, this is in line with the support of all the resources involved, namely from the school, parents, family and community environment. Multi Talenta Elementary School has 13 character values that have been applied to activities in the form of learning, habituation, example and reinforcement. The teachers have provided good service and assistance according to the needs of students.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of digital marketing in an effort to increase sales in a store. The type of research used is qualitative research with a case study approach. The main informants in this study were the store owner and employees, while the supporting informant was a customer. Data collection was carried out through three techniques, namely interviews, observations, and literature studies. This research was conducted at MR Butik Store. The results of the study indicate that the MR Butik Store has consistently implemented a digital marketing strategy. This allows for increased interactivity, better information provision, service personalization, and inclusion of market trends. The implementation of digital marketing contributes to increased accuracy in determining selling prices, cost efficiency, and increased demand and sales volume.

Abstract

Islamic boarding schools are considered unresponsive to the times, difficult to accept change (renewal), while maintaining their traditional educational patterns (salafiyah) Islamic boarding schools become a kind of institution that tends to be exclusive and isolative from general social life. To respond to pesantren towards the modernization of Islamic education and socio-economic changes taking place in society. The Ibad Ar-Rahman Islamic Boarding School tries to answer this challenge by having a vision of realizing a generation of rabbanis who have a qur'ani spirit, armed with science and technology. The research method used in this research is phenomenological research with a qualitative approach. Phenomenological research is research on experiences, traditions and various cultural phenomena of a social community. The results of the research in this article, Ibad Ar-Rahman Islamic boarding school has a strong commitment to creating an interesting, structured learning climate, and is able to illustrate learning in everyday life. In addition, the learning program at the Ibad Ar-Rahman Islamic Boarding School is directed at students to be able to balance religion and science and reminds them that there is no conflict between the two. In accordance with the vision they have, namely the realization of a generation of rabbani who have a qur'ani spirit, armed with science and technology. So that the field of science is able to strengthen the creed of the students, not reduce their faith.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of organizational citizenship behavior on employee performance at PT Ananda Perkasa Mulia. The research method used in this research is descriptive with a quantitative approach. The sampling technique used saturated samples so that the number of samples in this study was 60 respondents. Data analysis technique using multiple regression. The results of the study show that: There is a positive and significant influence of the organizational citizenship behavior on the employee performance at PT Ananda Perkasa Mulia. This is evidenced by the value of tcount > ttable, namely 9,588 > 2,001 with a probability value (significance) = 0,000, which is below 0.05.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the emotional intelligence on organizational commitment of teachers at SMP Islam Al-Ihsan Tangerang Selatan. The research method used in this research is descriptive with a quantitative approach. The sampling technique used saturated samples so that the number of samples in this study was 60 respondents. Data analysis technique using multiple regression. The research results show that: There is a positive and significant influence of the emotional intelligence variable on organizational commitment of teachers at SMP Islam Al-Ihsan Tangerang Selatan. This is proven by the value of tcount > ttable, namely 6.104 > 2.002 with a probability value (significance) = 0.000, which is below 0.05.

Abstract

This study aims to determine students' perceptions of the implementation of online learning in Integrated Science subjects in class VIII of SMPN 1 Sukatani. Online learning that has been implemented since the COVID-19 pandemic has its own challenges and advantages in the teaching and learning process, especially in subjects that are practical in nature such as Integrated Science. Student perceptions are an important factor that influences the effectiveness of learning, both in terms of understanding the material, interaction with teachers, and the use of technology. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data were collected through questionnaires and interviews with 30 students of class VIII of SMPN 1 Sukatani who took part in online Integrated Science learning. The results showed that most students had a positive perception of the flexibility of time offered by online learning, but there were still complaints about the difficulty in understanding the material presented online, especially on topics that require experiments or practicums. In addition, factors such as limited technological facilities, such as inadequate devices and internet network constraints, also influenced students' perceptions. The interaction between students and teachers was considered less than optimal due to the limited time for direct discussion. However, students felt that online learning provided an opportunity for independent learning and accessing materials at any time. This study is expected to provide input for schools and teachers to optimize online learning by considering the needs and comfort of students in the Integrated Science learning process in the future.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the implementation of Human Resource Management (HRM) in educational management at Sultan Agung Vocational School, focusing on the challenges, strategies, and effectiveness of HR practices in improving the quality of education. Human resources in vocational schools play a crucial role in preparing students with skills that are directly relevant to the labor market. However, various issues related to HRM, such as the qualification of teaching staff, professional development, and organizational coordination, have hindered the optimal development of students' competencies. This qualitative study utilizes in-depth interviews and document analysis as primary data collection methods to explore HRM practices at Sultan Agung Vocational School. The findings indicate several key challenges, including a shortage of qualified instructors in specialized fields, limited opportunities for staff training and development, and a lack of structured evaluation and career development systems for educators. Furthermore, weak coordination within the school’s administrative structure has resulted in inefficiencies in managing staff and aligning educational objectives with industry needs. Based on these findings, the study offers recommendations for improving HRM practices, such as enhancing teacher qualification programs, establishing continuous professional development initiatives, and implementing comprehensive performance evaluation systems. This research contributes to the understanding of HRM in educational settings, particularly in vocational schools, and provides insights for enhancing HR practices to improve educational outcomes and student employability.
