Abstract

Eczema mostly appears when children are aged 5-12 years old, but it is also common in toddlers and adults. The main symptom of eczema is unbearable itching. Various factors contribute to eczema, including genetic factors related to skin pigmentation abnormalities, immunological disorders, and environmental factors, and prompt treatment or follow-up is necessary. This study aims to develop an expert system that can assist in diagnosing eczema using the forward chaining method at the Pulau Panggung Health Centre. Based on the results of the tests conducted, it can be concluded that the expert system for diagnosing eczema at the Pulau Panggung Health Centre can assist in determining health status and facilitate the diagnosis of eczema, thereby simplifying the expert system's process of solving problems with large amounts of data using the forward chaining method. Additionally, the expert system for diagnosing eczema at the Pulau Panggung Health Centre can be accessed via the link https://eksim-puskesmaspulaupanggung.online/. From the testing conducted, the diagnosis of eczema was based on the symptoms experienced, corresponding to the highest probability level.

Abstract

The internet network at SMK Negeri 1 Seluma often experiences disruptions when used simultaneously by many users, causing a decline in signal quality and connection difficulties. This study aims to implement bandwidth management so that 30 Mbps internet access can be distributed evenly to three local networks, namely the Administration Room (15 Mbps), the Teacher's Room (10 Mbps), and the Laboratory (5 Mbps). The method used is the PPDIOO approach (Plan, Prepare, Design, Implement, Operate, Optimize) with Per Connection Queue (PCQ) configuration using Simple Queue on the Mikrotik router. Testing was conducted via speedtest before and after PCQ implementation in each room. The results show that bandwidth, which was previously not distributed proportionally, can now be distributed more fairly to each user. For example, in the TU room after PCQ implementation, each of the three clients received relatively equal bandwidth. The implementation of PCQ with Simple Queue proved effective in limiting and dividing bandwidth among users in a balanced manner and improving the overall stability of the school network.

Abstract

Increasing competition in the economic sector of each company in the industry forces companies to be able to beat rivals through inventory management in order to achieve maximum profit. Therefore, product quantity planning is crucial to be able to meet all existing demand. The purpose of this study focuses on the use of the Mamdani type Fuzzy Inference System to determine the amount of bread production based on inventory and demand data at Aroma 3 Bakery. The application is designed using the PHP programming language and MySQL database. The implementation of the Mamdani type Fuzzy logic in determining the amount of bread production based on inventory and demand data can provide support to Aroma 3 Bakery in making decisions for the next production amount.

Abstract

Medical performance assessment aims to improve service quality. The obstacle faced is the difficulty of evaluating medical performance objectively due to the many criteria and responsibilities of medical personnel for services. To overcome these obstacles, a Decision Support System using the Weight Product method is needed to be utilized as a tool in supporting the decision-making process. The Weight Product method uses multiplication to connect attribute ratings, where the rating of each attribute is first multiplied by the weight of the attribute concerned. The system implementation uses Visual Basic 2010 programming language and the method used in this research is the waterfall method. From the test results, it can be concluded that the medical performance assessment using Weight Product can be done well by taking the top number of medical personnel from the ranking process.

Abstract

This research is background by existence of problems of minimum spanning tree in graph which difficult to be finished so that require certain method to finishing it, despitefully there are also algorithm of genetic able to be made as method to finish the problems. The purpose of this research is applying algorithm of genetic to determine minimum spanning tree at undirected graph. Method scheme of system the used is Waterfall, while analysis method the used is Data Flow Diagram. For the data processing of, method the used is algorithm of genetic. While result of research known that algorithm of genetic earn implementation into application to determine minimum spanning tree.

Abstract

Determining the location of product displays is a crucial aspect of retail management because it affects customer comfort. Indomaret has a wide variety of products in many categories, so optimal display arrangement is a challenge in itself. Therefore, data-driven layout management is essential to optimize the shopping experience and increase sales. Advances in barcode technology and information systems enable real-time and accurate transaction data collection. Indomaret, as a widely distributed minimarket chain in Indonesia, plays a significant role in meeting the daily needs of the community, including in Suka Menanti Village. Data-driven shelf layout based on local transaction data will be more relevant and effective than a general approach, as purchasing patterns in rural areas may differ from those in urban areas. This study aims to design an information system that utilizes barcode transaction data and the Apriori method to determine product shelf layout, offering a suitable and innovative solution. This system will not only assist Indomaret in Suka Menanti Village in optimizing product layout but also enhance operational efficiency and the overall customer shopping experience.

Abstract

Attendance is one of the important performance assessments. Absenteeism carried out by each employee can affect every employee throughout the agency. The Bengkulu City Public Works Department wants to carry out reforms. The attendance system for each employee uses digital-based attendance. The attendance system developed in this research is based on mobile technology. The aim of this research is to enable employees to take attendance via their mobile devices with mobile features to ensure attendance is taken at the right location. Test results show that this system has succeeded in increasing the efficiency of the attendance process, reducing recording errors, and enabling real-time monitoring of attendance by the office admin. Thus, it is hoped that the development of a mobile-based digital attendance system can be an effective solution in managing employee attendance more efficiently and accurately.

Abstract

Corien Centre is an institution engaged in human resource development, self-development, psychology, outbound and family gatherings, counseling, private lessons, and counseling processes at Corien Centre still use a manual system or face-to-face meetings between patients and experts. The Forward Chaining method in identifying learning styles at Corien Centre can assist experts in conducting counseling, which is still manual or face-to-face, less efficient in managing client data, and does not yet use digital storage or databases. This research designed a web-based application using PHP and MySQL so that it can be easily accessed by experts and users. Functionality testing was conducted using the black-box method on six main components: registration, login, feature input, suggestion input, diagnosis process, and output. The test results showed that all modules worked as expected. This expert system has been proven to improve the efficiency of the learning style identification process, ensure data security and orderly data storage, and facilitate access to digital counseling services. With the support of the forward chaining method, this system provides personalized learning solutions that can help the Corien Center provide more effective counseling guidance.

Abstract

Advances in information technology have encouraged educational institutions to improve their digital services, including through educational websites. SMA Negeri 1 Cental Bengkulu already has an official website, but there are still issues with its appearance and user experience. This study aims to implement UI/UX to improve the appearance and user experience of the website to make it more informative, accessible, and attractive. The approach used is qualitative with the Design Thinking method through the stages of problem identification, wireframe design, prototyping, and testing. The design developed also accommodates the needs of users from students, teachers, and parents. The writer’s suggestion is that the implementation of UI/UX be applied comprehensively as a more effective medium for information and learning at SMA Negeri 1 Central Bengkulu.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to apply the Monte Carlo method in predicting the number of new student enrollments at SMK Negeri 7 Bengkulu City. The very rapid development of technology and information in the current era provides many benefits that can help and facilitate human work, one of which is in the field of prediction. Techniques in making predictions or estimates are a very important medium in carrying out appropriate planning in the fields of business, education, economics and other fields with the aim of making decisions as a basis for strategies to improve the quality and quantity of an institution or organization, both private and government. SMK Negeri 7 Bengkulu City is one of the State Vocational High Schools in Bengkulu City, every year SMK N 7 Bengkulu City carries out the process of accepting new students. New Student Admissions (PPDB) is the initial process in teaching and learning activities. Currently, the problem that occurs in PPDB is the failure to achieve the quota of students who register, resulting in many empty seats. The research method used by the author is the system development method. The results of this study are that the application for predicting the number of new student enrollments using the Monte Carlo method has been successfully implemented and predicts the number of new student enrollments based on the chosen major. Second, to predict the number of new student registrations, a Monte Carlo prediction model was first created or formed. Third, by using this Monte Carlo method, SMK Negeri 7 Kota Bengkulu can evaluate and predict the number of new student registrations which can be used to make preparations such as classroom equipment, laboratory equipment, procurement of stationery and human resources (teachers and teaching staff).
