Abstract

South Galela District is one of the districts located in North Halmahera Regency. The sub-district was consist of 7 villages (Seki, Togawa Besi, Togawa, Soakonora, Igobula, Ori, Bale) which are located nearby Lake Galela, overgrown by aquatic vegetation, namely water hyacinth (Eichhornia). The aquatic vegetation has positive and negative impact on the society. The purpose of the study is to determine the South Galela community perceptive on the positive and negative impacts of Eichhornia in Lake Galela. The research used is descriptive quantitative. The population in this study were all residential building plots in Galela Selatan District. Samples were taken randomly on residential building plots. The number of samples is determined using the Slovin formula with a confidence level of 95%, and the number of samples is 300 building parcels. The data collection techniques used are questionnaire, interview, observation, and documentation. The results showed that there are many people in Galela Selatan Subdistrict more dominant in assessing the existence of Eichhornia towards a positive impact, because people saw it support the community's economy, especially making handicrafts. Based on the results of the research, the factors on community perceptions in Galela Selatan District are the level of community knowledge, length of stay of the community, type of work and level of income. These factors have different effects on the level of public perception.Key words: Community Perspective, Eichhornia, Galela Lake

Abstract

There are several factors that determine the success of the learning process, one of which is teaching materials. Teaching materials need to be designed in such a way that they can support the achievement of expected learning outcomes. On the other hand, in the current era of the COVID-19 pandemic, the government and all stakeholders must work together and think hard about dealing with this virus. One of the efforts that can be done to improve the ability of these teachers is to conduct training for teachers of SMP Negeri 13 which aims to improve the quality of teaching and learning in schools. The community service activities in this report aim to improve the ability of junior high school teachers in making digital-based teaching materials to facilitate students in the learning process.Keywords: Learning, Teaching Materials, Teacher

Abstract

Garbage that is not managed properly can cause the environment to become dirty and cause river siltation that results in flooding. The amount of waste production is in line with the number of population, the higher the rate of population growth, the greater the rate of waste production. Waste management can not only be done downstream, but also start from upstream. Many programs have been carried out in waste management, one of which is the procurement of waste banks. The waste bank program encourages the public to sort before depositing inorganic waste in garbage banks. Inorganic recyclable waste, such as plastic bottles of used mineral water can be economically valuable by means of being in tubes on garbage banks, while organic waste such as leftover vegetables and fruit can be further processed into eco-enzymes. This activity aims to transfer knowledge and technology of processing organic waste into ecoenzymes, so that the community can participate in maintaining the sustainability of the earth. The methods of activities carried out are extension and demostration. This activity can achieve the goals in accordance with the objectives, this can be seen from the participation and enthusiasm of the community during the activity.Keywords: Producing Waste based Creativity, PPKM Covid-19

Abstract

Accounting graduates from high school and vocational students certainly have the goal of getting a better career for their future. College level is also one of the stepping stones before entering the world of work. Accounting graduates from a University or College of Accounting will make them more ready to work and have added value for the individual. This Community Service is packaged in a socialization which is given to students of Bantarsari 1 State High School, Cilacap Regency, who are already in class XII, both science and social studies classes. The number of students who took part in the socialization reached approximately 150 students consisting of 3 science classes and 2 social studies classes, which were held in a multipurpose room at SMAN 1 Bantarsari Cilacap. Socialization is provided by providing information about the professions in the accounting profession such as corporate accountants, public accountants, auditors, tax accountants and government accountants. Other information provided such as the type of work performed and the estimated amount of salary that will be received by each in that profession. The information provided is also related to the accounting cycle starting from business transactions to the preparation of a financial report for the company.Keyword: Accountant, Proffesional, graduated

Abstract

Digital literacy is an essential part of society in the 21st century era. The dynamics of the development of science and technology makes everyone have to adapt to digital technology, including students who will become the nation's next generation. This study aims to explore student perceptions of the importance of digital literacy for an educational institution. Descriptive research method is used to describe the results of student opinions which are explored through open questionnaires in the form of open-ended question. There are 85 students involved in this research. The findings show that students state the importance of digital literacy for an educational institution in terms of several aspects, namely the interests of the institution or the interests of the community as customers of an educational institution. This study presents several perceptions of digital literacy that can be used as a basis for an educator who will teach material about lectures in the field of education in the 21st century.Keywords: digital literacy, educational institution, perception, digital information system

Abstract

Learning innovations continue to be carried out in order to fulfill the learning curve. These innovations have spawned a variety of models, approaches, strategies and learning methods. From teacher-dominated learning to actively engaging learners. This paper systematically reviews and discusses several scientific works. The results revealed that the service learning environment is a product of learning innovation, namely the acquisition of knowledge based on critical thinking, personal experience and ability and active involvement in addressing problems in the community or community. Abstract

The study on determining the beginning of the Qamariyah month conducted online on Saturday, March 9, 2024, aimed to enhance participants' understanding of the principles of this and its application for determining the start of the Qamariyah month. This event featured two speakers who covered two main topics: the definition of hisab, the evidence for its legitimacy, understanding the texts, and the meanings of hadiths, as well as the role of hisab, types of hisab, criteria for hisab, the authentic method of hilal observation, and its implementation for the beginning of Ramadan 1445 Hijriyah in Yogyakarta and Ternate. The training results indicated that participants gained a profound knowledge of the hisab method and could apply this knowledge in their religious practices. The use of online technology via Zoom proved effective for organizing the training, and participant feedback indicated satisfaction with both the content and the delivery of the training. This training successfully achieved its educational goals by enhancing participants' competence in determining the beginning of the Qamariyah month in a syar'i and practical manner.ABSTRAKKegiatan Kajian metode hisab awal bulan Qamariyah yang dilaksanakan secara daring pada Sabtu, 9 Maret 2024, bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman peserta kajian tentang prinsip-prinsip hisab dan aplikasinya dalam penentuan awal bulan Qamariyah. Kegiatan ini menghadirkan dua narasumber yang membahas dua materi utama: pengertian hisab, dalil pensyariatan, fahmul matan, dan ma'anil hadits serta kedudukan hisab, macam-macam hisab, kriteria hisab, hisab hakiki wujudul hilal, dan implementasinya untuk awal Ramadhan 1445 Hijriyah di Yogyakarta dan Ternate. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan bahwa peserta memperoleh pengetahuan yang mendalam tentang metode hisab dan dapat menerapkan ilmu tersebut dalam praktek ibadah. Teknologi daring melalui Zoom terbukti efektif dalam menyelenggarakan pelatihan, dan umpan balik dari peserta mengindikasikan kepuasan terhadap materi dan penyampaian yang dilakukan. Pelatihan ini berhasil memenuhi tujuan edukatifnya dengan meningkatkan kompetensi peserta dalam menentukan awal bulan Qamariyah secara syar'i dan praktis
