<![CDATA[Since the current workforce environment required team work, learning to write collaboratively is important. Collaborative writing is based on socio-cultural theory in second language learning. This paper seeks to explore the types of conflicts that occur during collaborative writing among a group of ESL / EFL upper intermediate students in a preparatory programme. It also students how these conflicts are solved among the group members. A group consisting of four members was chosen for this study from an ESL /EFL upper intermediate writing classroom. Data collection process included audio and video recording of collaboration sessions, semi-structured interviews and students’ journals. The results of this study showed that there were two prominent types of conflicts that occurred during the collaboration, namely substantive conflict and procedural conflict. Both these types of conflicts were found to be useful as the group was able to negotiate disagreements and come to a consensus. The result show that in order for a collaborative writing session to be successful, conflict management and resolution among the members is crucial.]]>

<![CDATA[The use of the internet in human life is made more accessible because the delivery of information and promotion in the MSME sector has become more structured and systematic, which makes visual communication media in the form of video the first choice used in addition to messages in the form of text, brochures or websites. The promotional video is an alternative form to increase the power of visitors and buyers to find MSMEs efficiently and quickly; Star Milkshake is an MSME that is engaged in the culinary field in the form of drinks with various compositions and flavors. In this study, the author uses the MDLC method, which explains in a structured manner starting from conceptualizing, designing, collecting data, collecting data, testing, and distributing. The result of this applied research is the creation of an increase in the economy and income of MSME owners from around 400 thousand per day to 600-750 thousand.]]>

Universitas Internasional Batam is one of the largest and best universities on the Batam island. <![CDATA[A wireless network is a network that uses electromagnetic waves as the transmission medium. Wireless networks have advantages over wired transmission media such as ease of installation, expansion, and lower costs. In wireless networks there are several topologies that are commonly used, namely Point to Point and Point to Multipoint. This topology uses at least 2 devices to transmit data. This in turn makes it difficult to manage devices because of the large number of devices needed. To overcome this issue, the author uses a Controller, namely Cloud UISP to manage all existing PTMP devices. With this device, it enables IT to detect, register and configure PTMP devices all in one place. In designing this network the author uses Network Development Life Cycle (NDLC) method. The results of this implementation make it easier for IT to manage all Ubiquiti PTMP devices in the company.]]>

<![CDATA[Online consultation or better known as Telemedicine is a technological breakthrough that centered on medical subject, this activity used the internet as their communication media. One of the biggest market potential to promote the telemedicine is social media. This study discusses the influence and impact of surveillance, social interaction, information sharing, entertainment and social media richness towards purchase intention with brand equity as the mediation. The method used in this study is correlational quantitative method with 400 participating respondents and the questionnaire distribution is carried out with the Google Form as a data collection. The outcome of this study revealed that the relationship between surveillance, social interaction, information sharing, entertainment, social media richness and purchase intention with brand equity as the mediating role is significant and positive.]]>

Currently, the company still does not have and is experiencing problems in providing interconnection services that are on employee devices or CCTV installed in the outside environment.
