Abstract

The purpose of this study is to learn more about how using SketchUp enhances the educational experience at technical colleges. via examining pertinent research findings and using techniques from literature studies. The primary goal of the study is to quantify the influence that using 3D SketchUp material has on students' comprehension of ideas and skill development. It is believed that these findings would help educators in developing more creative and effective teaching strategies. It is also anticipated that there would be a notable increase in the quality of instruction at vocational schools, better equipping students with the necessary and relevant skills to join the workforce.

Abstract

In an era that continues to develop, there are challenges that will be faced by the existing education system in Indonesia. Education needs to continue to adapt to keep up with changes in the world. In all types of technology that stands out in education is virtual reality media and augmented reality. This research uses qualitative research with a literature study method. The implementation of virtual reality in education has become a major focus in efforts to improve students' holistic augmented reality learning experience. The implementation of augmented reality in education has opened the door to a more interactive augmented reality learning experience and presented the potential of augmented reality to increase student understanding and engagement. The use of virtual reality media and augmented reality in learning contexts has shown great potential to enhance student learning experiences and expand boundaries. -traditional boundaries in education. By adopting a collaborative approach between educational institutions, the technology industry, and government, and through investment in training and professional development for educators.

Abstract

This journal aims to obtain complete and in-depth information about breakfast and concentration and the influence that exists between breakfast and student learning concentration at SDS Tarbiyatul Islam Sambas for the 2023-2024 academic year. The research approach used is quantitative with an associative type of research.The population is 28 people. The data analysis technique uses Pearson product moment correlation and simple linear regression, with the research results being that variable X breakfast is in the "Good" category seen from the percentage results, namely 7.151%. Meanwhile, variable Y, namely student learning concentration, is in the "Very Good” category from the percentage results, namely 83.48%. There is a significant influence between breakfast on the learning concentration of class V students at SDS Tarbiyatul Islam Sambas. This can be seen from the relationship between the two variables with a correlation of 0.411, located between 0.400-0.599, which is included in the medium category, with a significance level of 0.016 < 0.05, thus (Ha) is accepted and (HO) is rejected. Seeing from the calculation results that the result a is 50.239 and b is 0.467, it is found that the regression equation for breakfast and study concentration is: Y= 50.239 + 0.467X. From the equation above, it means that every increase in variable X by one unit will be followed by an increase in variable Y of 0.467 with the price a = constant. In other words, the magnitude of the influence of variable X on the increase in variable Y is 0.467.

Abstract

Vocational learning requires innovative approaches to increase its effectiveness in today's digital era. One interesting approach is the use of animated video media in the learning process. This article presents a literature review on the effectiveness of using animated video media in the context of vocational education. This literature review aims to explore how the use of animated video media can improve students' understanding of vocational subject matter, motivate learning, and increase student engagement in the learning process. The practical implications of using this media in vocational learning will also be discussed.

Abstract

The study aims to examine the impact of technopreneurship on the vocational high school (SMK) graduates of the building building building, focused in the context of removing unemployment from high school and opening employment opportunities. Technopreneurship, a concept that combines technology and entrepreneurship, is becoming increasingly important in the face of global change and industrial revolution 4.0. Research methods used are descriptive analyses and case studies to get results on the increasing quality of SMKS graduating at technopreneurship. Research indicates that technopreneurship offers new opportunities for SMK graduates to create jobs of their own and to expand their businesses. However, challenges such as ignorance and entrepreneurial skills, as well as access to resources and capital, are still insurmountable obstacles. The implications of this study are the importance of strengthening SMK entrepreneurial education and improving cooperation between schools, industry, and governments to support the development of technopreneurship among SMK graduates of the building engineering program.

Abstract

This review of the literature looks at how students' learning outcomes can be improved by using problem-based learning (PBL) models to measure the area of different ornamental components in public, residential, and office environments. The review emphasizes how well PBL fosters in pupils a critical thinking, problem-solving, and practical skill set. It also covers the difficulties and possible fixes in putting PBL concepts into practice, including supplying sufficient resources, training teachers, and offering assistance to students. According to the review's findings, PBL can help students become more proficient at measuring ornamental aspects and have a better overall educational experience

Abstract

Vocational education has a crucial role in preparing a competent, qualified and ready-to-use workforce to meet industry needs. One of the key skills in the construction industry is the ability to use design software such as AutoCAD. However, there is often a gap between the material taught in schools and industry demands. The aim of this research is to examine the relevance of the construction industry in learning AutoCAD at Development Vocational Schools with the aim of improving the quality of drafters who are ready to use in the job market. This research will explore the impact of integrating industrial practices in the vocational school education curriculum, as well as analyzing efforts to improve the quality of drafters through learning AutoCAD at Development Vocational Schools. The method used is Literature Review, with a focus on reviewing 4 journals that match the title of the article I wrote. Based on the results of the literature, the research sample consisted of deputy principals, heads of expertise programs, building engineering teachers, and training on the use of AutoCAD as well as introducing BIM concepts in AutoCAD to students.

Abstract

This article discusses the implementation of Problem Based Learning (PBL) in the Soil Mechanics practical course for students of the Building Engineering Education Program (PTB) at Universitas Negeri Jakarta. PBL is considered an effective learning model in developing critical thinking skills, problem-solving abilities, and the application of knowledge in real-world contexts. A quantitative descriptive research method was employed using a questionnaire to evaluate students' understanding of soil mechanics material. The analysis results indicate that the majority of students rated their understanding as lacking or very lacking. Therefore, PBL is proposed as a solution to enhance learning effectiveness. The concrete steps of PBL in soil mechanics practice are also outlined in this article, along with its potential implications for student learning experiences.

Abstract

A popular teaching paradigm in various fields of education, including construction technique education, is the project-based learning strategy. The purpose of this study is to assess the impact of a project-based learning strategy on student motivation for construction technique instruction. The method of study that is employed is literature review, which involves gathering information from several reliable sources, such as academic journals and books. According to the study's findings, learning strategies based on projects have a positive impact on students' motivation to learn construction technique. This strategy can increase commitment and discipline, academic discipline, the desire to learn and understand, self-awareness and self-doubt, intrinsic motivation, teamwork and collaboration, problem-solving skills, communication skills, and critical thinking capacity. Proyek-based learning strategies have a great potential to improve learning outcomes and raise student quality.

Abstract

This article discusses the important role played by course institutions in improving teacher quality through educator professional development. Against the background of the complexity of the challenges faced by modern teachers in dealing with changing curricula, educational technology and diverse learning needs, course institutions become crucial partners in supporting their continuous development. Using case studies and testimonials, this article evaluates the positive impact of teacher participation in professional development programs organized by course institutions, both from the perspective of improving the quality of teaching and student learning outcomes. In addition, this article also provides recommendations for teachers in choosing professional development programs that suit their needs, as well as suggestions for course institutions in improving the quality and relevance of their programs. Thus, this article presents a comprehensive understanding of how course institutions play a role in improving the quality of teachers and their contribution to improving education as a whole.
