Abstract

The National Police has a vital function in maintaining security and public order with five main operational functions: intelligence, investigation, community, guidance, traffic, and bhayangkara samapta. Job stress influences police performance, and understanding job stress in the context of the police profession is important for developing effective strestegies and supports. Factors that influence work stress include excessive workload, time pressure, and interpersonal conflict. This research aims to determine the relationship between job demands and work stress among members of the National Police. Qualitative research methods are used to understand individual experiences and perceptions.

Abstract

In the subject of Soil Mechanics & Road Engineering, students only receive instruction from teachers and do not have the opportunity to learn freely or systematically. Therefore, the education system should be more interactive and engaging to enable students to learn more freely and systematically. Teachers should have the ability to make the material more interesting and influential so that students can understand it better. The method used is Literature Review, which involves collecting and analyzing data from various sources of literature, such as articles, books, slides, and internet information, is known as a literature review process. Literature review is used in road engineering education to support students' knowledge and skills. In the subject of Soil Mechanics & Road Engineering, the application of project-based learning with a constructivist approach is an appropriate choice. This approach enhances learning performance and helps students achieve their learning goals. According to the project, learning increases students' ability to solve transportation problems in the field, enhances their teamwork skills, increases their enthusiasm, and makes them more independent and creative.

Abstract

From now on, active learning techniques are being used. The teacher's role during the learning process is typically described as providing explanations of the subject matter and engaging in passive student listening. This page discusses active learning, particularly at vocational high schools, and attempts to give as many instances and an overview of applied learning in the classroom as it can. Descriptive analysis is the technique employed. In conclusion, Indonesian schools will adopt new active learning practices that will make even the most reticent pupils participate and fully value the learning process. Active learning, attentive instruction, and careful planning will improve the quality of learning by drawing students' attention to the learning process and giving them the chance to ask questions, have discussions, and make good use of the newly acquired knowledge while being approachable. The fact that this form of learning management exists could have an effect at the studying outcomes that students achieve.

Abstract

This study explores the role of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers in building students' communication ethics awareness in the digital era, focusing on grade 10 students at Assyafiiyah High School. The digital era brings new challenges, such as the spread of hoaxes, hate speech, and online bullying, which are often fuelled by anonymity in cyberspace. PAI teachers have a strategic role as moral mentors in integrating religious values with digital literacy to shape student character. This study used mixed methods combining qualitative and quantitative approaches through observation, interviews, questionnaires, and literature studies. The results showed that students' understanding of Islamic communication ethics has a significant positive relationship with the impact of Islamic education on their awareness. The teaching strategies applied include integrating religious values in learning, modeling, case studies, wise use of digital media, and personal approach and counselling. School policies such as the prohibition of playing mobile phones during class also positively impact students' character building. This research confirms the importance of religious value-based education as an effective solution to face communication challenges in the digital era and form a generation with noble character.

Abstract

In the National Police institution, police psychologists are distinctive in relation to counseling guidance to problematic members in the service, so there are several professional competencies required for the psychology profession in the police environment. With counseling services, it is expected that there will be handling to improve professionalism in members of the Police. The type of research design used in this study is a type of literature review research where journal references are collected using the Google Scholar database. Based on the results of the literature review found, it was found that there was still quite a lack of psychological counseling for police personnel However, it has also been found that there are several types of counseling services that can be provided to police personnel.

Abstract

This research aims to delve into the role of church music as a means of koinonia for the contemporary congregation. Church music has the power to deepen social and spiritual bonds among congregation members, even serving as a source of encouragement during worship. However, there is still a lack of research specifically exploring this dynamic in the context of today's congregations. Through a holistic qualitative approach, this study explores individuals' experiences, perceptions, and interpretations of the role of church music in strengthening koinonia. Research methods employed include literature review, light interviews with congregation members and church leaders, participatory observation in worship activities, and content analysis of lyrics, melodies, and arrangements of church music. The findings indicate that church music plays a significant role in creating an atmosphere conducive to fellowship, connecting diverse cultural backgrounds and generations in spiritual unity, and enabling congregants to experience profound fellowship beyond social and cultural boundaries. The conclusion of this research underscores the importance of considering the role of church music in building a strong and united church community amidst dynamic societal changes.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to reveal: 1) Forms of Islamic Religious Education Teachers' Efforts in Developing the Religious Character of Class VII Students at SMP N 1 Galing District for the 2022-2023 Academic Year. 2) PAI Teachers' Efforts to Develop Religious Character in Class VII Students at SMP N 1 Galing District for the 2022-2023 Academic Year. 3) Supporting and Inhibiting Factors for PAI Teachers' Efforts in Developing the Religious Character of Class VII Students at SMP N 1 Galing District for the 2022-2023 Academic Year. This research uses a qualitative approach and descriptive research type. Data collection techniques using interviews, observation and documentation. The data analysis techniques used are data collection, data display, and conclusions. The results of the research show that: 1) The forms of Islamic religious education teachers' efforts are by teaching, providing guidance, coaching, providing role models and advice, familiarizing and disciplining students to behave in accordance with the teachings of the Islamic religion, praying before and after the learning process and creating an environment that religious. 2) The PAI teacher's efforts in developing religious character in class VII at SMP Negeri 1 Galing, namely the teacher provides an example by entering class on time, instilling good behavior that can be captured and used as a habit by students, getting used to praying before and after learning, creating conducive atmosphere by shaking hands with the teachers, internalization and integration of the vision and mission into what is in accordance with the development of religious character. 3) Supporting and inhibiting factors for the efforts of Islamic Religious Education teachers in developing religious character in class VII students at SMP Negeri 1 Galing are as follows : Supporting factors are pre- school experience, level of intelligence, learning motivation, attitudes and study habits. Inhibiting factors are internal factors and external factors.

Abstract

Generation Z, born in the digital era, has experienced significant changes in the way they live out their Christian faith. This study aims to explore how Christian spirituality has developed among Gen Z, particularly in the digital context. Through a qualitative approach, this research analyzes the impact of technology and social media on their faith practices, as well as how this generation interacts with religious teachings through digital platforms. The findings suggest that Gen Z tends to seek more personal, flexible, and globally connected spiritual experiences. However, they still maintain core Christian values, albeit in a more fragmented and adaptive form in response to technological advancements. This study recommends the need for a more relevant and contextual approach in guiding Gen Z’s spirituality in the digital world.

Abstract

Vocational Education has a very important role in improving the quality of human resources in Indonesia. Referring to the function of education as stated in National Education, the function is to develop abilities and shape the character and civilization of the nation. The phenomenon shows that vocational school graduates do not have sufficient competence to possess them. The type of method used by the author in compiling this article is phenomenological research with a qualitative approach to literature study. Teaching factory can be defined as an industry-based learning model (products and services). In general, the aim of teaching factory learning is to increase work readiness, align competencies and build the work character of vocational school graduates according to the demands of the world of business and industry through a product/servicebased learning process (Learning Tools engineering). which is held in the environment, atmosphere, governance and rules or what is known as SOP in the actual workplace or industrial world. Through the teaching factory, students are taught to practice not only their cognitive abilities, students also learn to work in groups, train themselves students can communicate with other people and gain real experience and be trained to carry it out when entering the world of work. Students will also get more time to practice. Students are expected to be able to learn more optimally in developing their potential through learning from experiences they have had at school and during industrial work practice, compared to getting a lot of material in class but being less competent in your field. It is hoped that the corporate atmosphere created in teaching factory learning can further improve student competence. Abstract

Learning difficulties are the core of educational problems, because learning is the main activity in education. All efforts in education and teaching are directed so that students learn, because through these learning activities students can develop more optimally. The approach and type of research used in this research is a qualitative approach using phenomenological research. Based on the results of observations conducted by researchers at SMP Negeri 1 Semparuk, it was found that there were several students who experienced learning difficulties in Islamic Religious Education subjects, which included the classroom atmosphere being not conducive, students' understanding of the material, understanding of students' moral behavior according to the material, and students' habituation according to the material is still very lacking. The efforts made by PAI teachers to overcome students' learning difficulties are as follows: a) Creating a conducive classroom atmosphere b) Approaching students c) Providing Motivation, Guidance and Direction d) Reviewing or repeating material e) Providing exercises or assignments and f) Using varied methods.
