Abstract

Student achievements are a form of outcomes achieved during their academic activities at a higher education institution. Achievements are one of the essential factors in assessing the quality of an educational institution. One example is the accreditation evaluation of a study program or the assessment of an institution based on student achievements. Currently, the management of student achievement data is still done manually, where each student's academic and non-academic achievements are reported to the Student Affairs department for data recording. Considering the importance of student achievement data, there is a need for a system to facilitate the management of this data by the Student Affairs department. In this system, students who achieve success can directly input their data into the system. When the data is needed, the operator can easily present the required student achievement data. The system is built using PHP programming language and MySQL database, and it has proven to provide convenience to the Student Affairs department in managing student achievement data. With this system in place, study programs are also assisted in accessing student achievement data for accreditation assessment purposes

Abstract

The aim of this research is to measure not only the accuracy rate but also the precision result and the recall of the data mining application to predict Junior High School students’ learning outcomes based on their gender, the origin of the school, parents’ education and occupation. Determination of the students’ learning outcomes are very important in the education world. it becomes important because of the difficulty in determining the factors and variables which can affect the students’ learning outcomes.The accurate process of the data mining can recognize and extract the pattern of knowledge in order to offer solutions to increase the education quality where it can help the students maximize their achievement.There are some classification models in data mining: ID3 algorithm, C4.5 and Naïve Bayes which can be used to predict the students’ achievement, specifically, in Junior High School. This research uses Naïve Bayes classification mode to predict the Saint Mary Junior High School students’ achievement in order to get a better accuracy.

Abstract

The use of renewable energy sources is currently starting to grow rapidly in line with the need for environmentally friendly power sources. Solar power plants are a choice of solutions for the community, especially those in areas that have not been reached by the electricity grid. The production of the resulting electrical energy is highly dependent on the capacity of the installed solar panels. In order to monitor solar power plants electricity production and usage load, a facility is needed that can provide real-time information. Besides that, it can easily be accessed remotely by utilizing a network that uses the TCP/IP protocol. The problem that arises then is that the sensor data obtained from the readings must comply with the standard parameters that apply to all sensor equipment. The Modbus RTU and Modbus TCP protocols are the right choice to answer this problem. This research will discuss the implementation of the Modbus RTU/TCP protocol within the scope of solar power plants. Thus, solar power plants electrical energy monitoring system allows it to be applied to networks that are located far from the control or monitoring center.

Abstract

Educators must adapt their teaching methods during the COVID-19 pandemic to ensure effective and captivating learning experiences that incorporate interactivity, challenges, motivation, and allow students to nurture their creativity and independence based on their individual talents and interests. At Islamic Village Elementary School, it is especially important to utilize engaging learning media since elementary students have a natural enthusiasm for new concepts. When selecting learning media, factors such as learning objectives, effectiveness, user-friendliness, and flexibility should be taken into consideration. Augmented Reality (AR) applications have emerged as an exciting advancement in learning media, particularly in helping students comprehend Natural Science subjects. Thus, an AR application has been developed as a learning tool for Natural Science at Islamic Village Elementary School, utilizing the Marker-Based Tracking AR method. The research aims to facilitate students' learning and understanding of the material while making the learning process more captivating and less monotonous. Within the application, objects are visually presented in 3D using animations, sound, and appealing colors. The research methodology encompasses literature review, field study, and sample calculations. The outcome of this research is a mobile application that serves as a supportive tool to enhance the learning experience.

Abstract

Coastal Batik is made outside of Solo and Yogyakarta. The use of the term "coastal" is due to the majority of batik production being located in the northern coast of Java, such as Indramayu, Cirebon, Pekalongan, Lasem, and others. Coastal batik is characterized by flexible color selection and patterns, influenced by foreign influences, particularly after the introduction of Islam in the 16th century. The Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) method is commonly used in classifying digital image data. Neurons in CNN are represented in a two-dimensional form, differing in linear function and weight parameters. The CNN extraction process consists of hidden layers, including convolutional, pooling, and ReLU (activation function) layers. The evaluation results of the Convolutional Neural Network model show that it can perform classification and recognize coastal batik images of Java Island, achieving the best results in the first scenario with a training data ratio of 70% and testing data ratio of 30%, resulting in an accuracy of 83%. For future research, it is recommended to increase the number of batik images and capture them directly, while incorporating segmentation or extraction features to measure efficiency and accuracy levels. This will help obtain better results in recognizing the characteristics of coastal batik in Java Island.

Abstract

Semaphore is a way to send and receive news by using a flag, paddle, trunk, bare hands or gloves. The semaphore learning at School at this time still uses the Scout's manual and it is only in the form of 2D images and it is also delivered by the Scout coach. So that students tend to get bored in learning the semaphore movement and lack of understanding and education in the learning process in this modern era. From the existing problems, the semaphore movement learning application and semaphore quiz were built using augmented reality technology based on android to provide interesting and interactive learning. This application was built by adding the Blum-Blum Shub (BBS) algorithm for the randomization process which functions to generate random numbers in a mathematical process with the resulting output is a series of binary numbers. Application created uses Unity 3D, and developed uses the RUP (Rational Unifed Process) method. With this application, it can make easier for students to understand the material in semaphore learning

Abstract

Menentukan tingkat risiko pada penjualan cake adalah hal yang sangat penting bagi seorang pengusaha. Tujuannya agar lebih memudahkan seorang pengusaha dalam penjualan nya, supaya cake yang di hasilkan menjadi cake yang berkualitas dan banyak di minati oleh pembeli. Toko Stiinacake sendiri sulit dalam menentukan tingkat risiko yang di hadapi pada belakangan ini, sehingga di butuhkan nya sistem pendukung keputusan dalam menentukan tingkat risiko pada penjualan cake di toko tersebut. Tujuan penelitian ini di lakukan untuk mengetahui tingkat risiko yang terjadi dalam penjualan cake di Stiinacake. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Metode AHP dan MAUT dengan 25 Alternatif dan 5 Kriteria penilaian yang diperoleh dari hasil beberapa tahapan yaitu mulai dari tahap wawancara, proses pengumpulan data, proses perhitungan serta menentukan perangkingan untuk tingkat risiko penjualan cake. Sistem pendukung keputusan yang dihasilkan dalam penelitian ini yaitu dapat menampilkan perangkingan untuk cake yang tingkat risikonya paling tinggi, dapat mengatasi risiko yang terjadi untuk setiap masalah kriteria, kemudian dapat menjadi acuan dalam mengambil keputusan terbaik bagi penjualan di Stiinacake

Abstract

Indonesia is renowned for its diverse ethnicities, each contributing to a culturally rich mosaic. Among the distinctive regional traits, batik stands out prominently, evolving uniquely in each part of the country. However, the diversity in batik designs often confuses people trying to identify the region of origin due to similarities in patterns. Deciphering these unique batik motifs typically requires specialized knowledge, particularly from individuals well-versed in the art of batik. Reviews suggest that employing pattern recognition methods is an effective way to tackle this challenge. In today's technological landscape, various methods have emerged to aid in recognizing fabric motifs. This study utilizes the Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) method with the Efficient Net-B0 architecture. The tests conducted to identify batik motifs using this approach yielded a highest accuracy result of 79.62% for the test data and an accuracy validation result of 73.33%. These findings underscore the potential of advanced technologies, specifically the CNN with Efficient Net-B0 architecture, in accurately discerning and distinguishing batik motifs.

Abstract

In the developing digital era, it is important for companies to have an effective web information system to promote their products to customers. In particular, the vape industry has experienced rapid growth, surely Joker Vape wants to take advantage of web technologies to increase the visibility and attractiveness of their products. This study aims to develop a Joker Vape Promotion Web Information System with Agile Scrum and usability testing. Agile Scrum is chosen as a development method because of its ability to address user needs. Usability testing is carried out to ensure that this web information system already has a good value in the appearance of the website and ease of using the website. The results of this study indicate that user needs in user story admins such as being able to manage products and the needs of visitors or website users need product pages, product details. In testing the usability of the website, it has already had a good usability value with the usability aspect getting 85.5%, the ease of use aspect getting 87.05%, the ease of learning aspect getting 87%, and the satisfaction aspect getting 85%.

Abstract
