Abstract

In today's globalized era, rapid advancements in information systems have had a profound impact on business operations. UKM Rukun Makmur, based in Tlingsing Village, Cawas District, Klaten Regency, specializes in producing woven lurik fabric and faces several challenges. These include limited traditional marketing methods such as brochures and catalogs, which restrict sales efficiency and outreach. Additionally, there is a lack of staff familiarity with internet tools, hindering business growth. The use of traditional weaving equipment also limits production capacity. Insufficient digital marketing efforts have resulted in low brand visibility and below-target sales revenue for this SME. Thus, it is essential to develop a web-based sales information system for UKM Rukun Makmur Tlingsing to expand product marketing reach and boost sales. This system will be built using the waterfall methodology, encompassing phases such as requirements analysis, design, implementation, and testing. Open-source tools like XAMPP, MySQL, and PHP will be employed, ensuring accessibility for all users

Abstract

Population growth in an area is very important for development and as a benchmark for development and progress. One way to estimate/estimate population growth is to use Data Mining techniques. Data mining is able to analyze data into information. This research will discuss the population growth of Batang Regency, Central Java in 2024. The estimation technique that will be used is Multiple Linear Regression. This method was chosen because it can make estimates/predictions by utilizing past data regarding population growth so that it can produce a relationship pattern. This Multiple Linear Regression method aims to produce the best predictions. The research data used is population data in Batang Regency in 2019-2023. Based on research that has been carried out, the results show a population growth of 853,800 people in 2024. This figure shows a population increase of 24,917 people compared to 2023 of 828,883 people with an increase percentage of 3%. The benefits of this research can be conveyed to the Batang Regency Government as material for decision and policy making in the year.

Abstract

PT. Patco Elektronik Teknologi, a leading company in the Electronics industry, urgently needs to enhance the security of blueprint mold data in its Moldshop division. The process of mold repair using CNC machines requires secure access to the company's standard blueprint drawings. Hence, this study aims to develop an Android-based application for encrypting and decrypting blueprint images using the Rivest Shamir Adleman algorithm. It also addresses challenges such as budget constraints, Android device availability, and data security. The method chosen, Rivest Shamir Adleman, is renowned for its asymmetric cryptography and will be implemented in the Android application for securing blueprint images. The research successfully resulted in the creation, implementation, and testing of the Rivest Shamir Adleman Android application. Testing demonstrated that the program can efficiently encrypt and decrypt blueprint images, with encryption averaging 4 to 15 seconds and decryption 2 to 5 seconds using this method. By employing Rivest Shamir Adleman, the application ensures high-level security for blueprint image files.

Abstract

Kampus Gratis application is a mobile application created by the team at PT Menara Indonesia (M-Knows Consulting) for students. This mobile application is designed to provide easy access to learn for participants without conditions. However, this application is still in the final launching stage within the company. Considering that the Kampus Gratis application is relatively new, no formal review or evaluation has been conducted to assess the extent to which the application can meet the needs and feasibility of users. The purpose of this study is to determine the extent of the usability level of the Kampus Gratis application based on effectiveness, efficiency, and user satisfaction. As well as knowing the level of user experience based on attractiveness, perspicuity, efficiency, dependability, stimulation, novelty in the Kampus Gratis application. This Study managed to collect a sample of 44 respondents using random sampling techniques. The data analysis method applied is quantitative analysis with validity and reliability testing. The result at the usability level shows that the Kampus Gratis application provides a fairly good level of satisfaction, effectiveness and efficiency for its users. While the result at the user experience level based on the variables of attractiveness (1.18), dependability (1.31), stimulation (1.20), novelty (0.77) get above average categories. However, for perspicuity (1.06) and efficiency (0.94) variables get a category below average.

Abstract

Boarding schools require students and staff to reside on campus for a set period, necessitating high levels of security and comfort to optimize educational outcomes through effective human resource management. Managing staff and student attendance is crucial in these settings, exemplified by the manual attendance system at Insan Cendikia Magnet School in Bogor. However, manual systems often suffer from inefficiencies, inaccuracies leading to data errors, fraud, and real-time monitoring challenges. To address these issues, this study developed a digital attendance system using FlutterFlow, employing barcode scanning for both academic and non-academic staff. Implementation of this system improved digital attendance processes, with testing confirming its reliable performance. The system effectively met user needs and conditions, integrating attendance data with real-time reporting features. These accessible reports facilitate evaluation and decision-making regarding staff attendance.

Abstract

UD Asia Pratama Pekanbaru, a trading company in the building industry, is facing problems in managing inventory which is still manual, causing inefficiencies and inaccurate data. This research aims to design and implement an efficient and effective web-based inventory management system. The system development method uses the Waterfall model, including requirements analysis, design, implementation and testing. Data was collected through interviews with employees and analysis of documents related to inventory. The research results show that the system developed can increase inventory management efficiency, with real-time stock management features, recording of incoming and outgoing goods, and accurate reporting. User testing and evaluation shows that the system is acceptable and meets UD Asia Pratama's needs in overcoming inventory problems.

Abstract

The development of software necessitates the selection of appropriate methodologies to ensure effectiveness and quality. This research aims to assess the strengths and weaknesses of the Big Bang and Waterfall methodologies through the analysis of diverse case studies. The Big Bang approach allows teams to begin work swiftly without detailed initial planning, yet it often results in products with inconsistent quality and susceptibility to bugs. Conversely, the Waterfall method provides a structured, sequential approach but lacks flexibility in accommodating changes. Choosing the right methodology should be tailored to meet the specific needs and characteristics of each project. It is essential for professionals to have a comprehensive understanding of each methodology to increase the likelihood of success in software development. This study lays a robust foundation for future advancements, emphasizing the importance of empirical research and exploring hybrid approaches.

Abstract

Telecommunication tower management information system is a crucial data processing system for telecommunication tower fee collection, given the importance of having an efficient and integrated system. However, the Department of Communication and Informatics of Cimahi City still lacks an integrated system, resulting in a slower telecommunication tower fee collection process. To address this issue, a Website named Telecommunication Tower Supervision and Control Management Information System (Wasdal) was developed as an integrated system to facilitate the fee collection process and generate fee collection reports. The methodology employed in this research is the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), and the Website is constructed using Laravel framework, Bootstrap, and MySQL database. The implementation results reveal that the overall built management information system Website meets user requirements. The User Acceptance Test (UAT) outcomes indicate average parameter scores of design (78%), features (79.20%), user satisfaction (80.60%), with an overall testing score of 81.3%.

Abstract

Maintaining the confidentiality of information poses a significant challenge in today's technology-driven era. Information security is invaluable for individuals, businesses, governments, and global entities alike. It serves as a vital tool in preventing and identifying fraud within information-based systems. This knowledge is intended to educate people worldwide early on, helping them avoid falling victim to fraud. As technology advances for the greater good, it demands our vigilance against potential crimes like phishing, smishing, and vishing. The study utilized survey and literature review methods. Surveys were conducted using questionnaires at the Civil Registration Office of Cimahi City, targeting city residents. Survey findings indicated that many residents had experienced smishing incidents. Some respondents showed a commendable level of awareness regarding information security. Furthermore, the Dilandacita website aids respondents in handling population and civil registration matters efficiently.

Abstract

In 2021, BPJS Kesehatan experienced a significant data leak incident, where the personal data of 279 million Indonesians was leaked and traded on hacker forums. This incident has a serious impact on individual privacy and the reputation of BPJS Kesehatan. This paper analyzes the incident using the security lifecycle method, which consists of the stages of identification, analysis/assessment, protection, and monitoring. The findings suggest that weaknesses in IT security systems and a lack of continuous monitoring contributed to the leaks. Recommendations include strengthening security protocols, staff training, and implementing real-time monitoring to prevent similar incidents in the future.
