Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Cirebon City hold considerable potential in the culinary, fashion, handicraft, and service sectors, yet many business owners still struggle to generate original business ideas, formulate customer-centered solutions, and survive the early, failure-prone stages of running a business. This community service activity aims to strengthen the capacity of MSME actors in Cirebon City to apply creative thinking and design thinking as a user-centered approach to business problem-solving. The implementation method uses a participatory training approach consisting of needs identification, interactive lectures and discussion, and simulation of the design thinking stages, namely empathize, define, ideate, prototype, and test. Participants were also introduced to the characteristics of creative thinking, namely fluency, flexibility, originality, and elaboration, as well as the common causes of small business failure. The results show an improvement in participants' understanding of the distinction between creative and critical thinking, their ability to identify business opportunities, and their ability to formulate customer-centered solution ideas through the design thinking stages. This activity confirms that strengthening creative and user-centered thinking capacity needs to be integrated continuously into MSME mentoring in Cirebon City to enhance innovation, efficiency, and business competitiveness.

Abstract

The community service activity with the theme "Database Integration and Data Automation Training Using n8n for Information System Optimization" was carried out as an effort to improve the digital competence of vocational high school students and educators in Cirebon Regency in facing the needs of digital transformation. The activity was carried out on April 11, 2026 through workshops, demonstrations, and direct practice using the n8n platform. This program was motivated by the fact that many schools still manage academic data manually using separate spreadsheets, resulting in inefficient data processing, potentially leading to data duplication, and complicating the monitoring and reporting process. In addition, participants' understanding of database integration and workflow automation was still relatively limited. The training material covered basic concepts of information systems, database integration, utilization of APIs and webhooks, and implementation of workflow automation using the n8n platform. Participants gained hands-on experience in building simple workflows, such as integrating Google Sheets with Telegram, synchronizing digital form data, and automating notification delivery. The activity was attended by participants from SMK Presiden Cirebon, SMKN 1 Kedawung, SMK Islamic Center Cirebon, SMK Muhammadiyah Cirebon, SMK Wahidin Cirebon City, and SMK Budi Tresna Cirebon Regency. The results of the activity showed an increase in participants' understanding and skills in applying data integration technology and information system automation. Participants successfully developed various simple automation workflows that can be implemented to support the effectiveness of academic administration in schools. The evaluation of the activity showed that the level of participant satisfaction was in the very good category. In general, this activity succeeded in making a positive contribution to increasing digital literacy, strengthening information technology competencies, and developing the use of n8n-based automation workflows in vocational education environments.

Abstract

This Community Service Activity raised the theme "n8n-Based Automatic Data Processing and Transformation Training at Vocational High Schools in Cirebon Regency." The activity was held on Saturday, April 4, 2026, targeting participants from the Cirebon Regency Vocational High School environment. This program was motivated by the need for vocational schools to improve data management capabilities, utilize digital technology, and automate work processes. School activities generate a lot of data, such as student data, attendance, activity registration, grades, evaluation questionnaires, and administrative reports. This data is often managed manually, spread across various media, and requires a long time to be summarized. The solution provided was training in automatic data processing and transformation using n8n. n8n was chosen because it has a visual interface, supports the low-code concept, can connect various applications, and allows users to build automated workflows gradually. The implementation method uses a participatory, educational, practical, problem-based, and sustainable approach. The activity began with partner coordination, module development, technical preparation, workshop implementation, guided practice, case studies, evaluation, and follow-up recommendations. The results of the activity showed that participants gained an understanding of data concepts, data transformation, workflow automation, triggers, nodes, outputs, and workflow evaluation. Participants were also able to create simple workflows based on school case studies, such as activity registration recaps, attendance processing, automatic notifications, and evaluation recaps. The participant satisfaction evaluation showed an average score of 4.48, categorized as very satisfied. The training benefits and practical methods indicators received high scores, thus the training was deemed relevant to the school's needs. Overall, this activity successfully improved digital literacy, basic data automation skills, and participants' awareness of the importance of technology-based work efficiency. This program is expected to serve as a foundation for the development of data automation in vocational schools in Cirebon Regency and support the sustainable digital transformation of vocational education.

Abstract

Community service activities are carried out as an effort to increase the digital competence of Kuningan Regency Vocational School students in facing the development of the modern digital industry. This activity was carried out on May 23 2026 involving participants from several partner schools, namely SMKN 1 Kuningan, SMKN 2 Kuningan, SMK Muhammadiyah Kuningan, SMK Pertiwi Kuningan, and SMK Yamsik Kuningan. Implementation of activities uses a practice-based workshop approach and project-based learning. The training material includes basic concepts of workflow automation, digital system integration, use of the n8n platform, implementation of triggers and actions, as well as development of mini projects based on user needs. Participants gain hands-on experience in building simple workflow automation using Telegram integration, email, Google Sheets, and digital forms. The results of the activity showed an increase in participants' understanding of the concept of workflow automation and the implementation of digital service integration. Participants succeeded in developing various mini projects such as automatic notification systems, automatic email sending workflows, integration of digital forms with spreadsheets, and automation of digital data management. The hands-on practice approach provides a more applicable learning experience and helps improve participants' creativity, problem solving abilities and digital technology skills. Evaluation of activities is carried out through observation, assessment of mini-project results, reflective discussions, and participant satisfaction questionnaires. The evaluation results show that the level of participant satisfaction is in the very good category with a satisfaction percentage of more than 90%. Participants assessed that practice-based training methods and mentoring provide effective learning experiences that are relevant to the needs of the digital industry. In general, this community service activity succeeded in achieving the planned program targets and made a positive contribution to strengthening digital literacy and developing technological innovation in the vocational education environment in Kuningan Regency.

Abstract

Hypertension is one of the leading non-communicable diseases contributing to global morbidity and mortality. A community health survey conducted in Walantakan Village identified hypertension as a priority health problem requiring preventive and promotive interventions. This community service program aimed to improve community knowledge regarding hypertension and to conduct hypertension risk factor screening through a community empowerment approach. The program employed a Community-Based Participatory Approach, involving village authorities, primary healthcare providers, community health volunteers, and local residents. The intervention consisted of two main sessions: interactive health education using lectures, discussions, question-and-answer sessions, and educational leaflets, followed by hypertension risk factor screening through blood pressure measurement, body mass index assessment, and interviews regarding hypertension risk factors. Program evaluation was conducted using pre-test and post-test questionnaires and blood pressure screening records. The results demonstrated an increase in participants' knowledge after the educational intervention. Furthermore, blood pressure screening identified participants with elevated blood pressure, stage 1 hypertension, and stage 2 hypertension who required further medical evaluation. This community service program demonstrates that health education combined with hypertension risk factor screening is effective in improving community knowledge while facilitating early detection of hypertension to prevent cardiovascular complications.

Abstract

This Community Service activity was carried out with the theme "Implementation of API Integration in Workflow Automation Using n8n to Support Digital Transformation." The target of this activity was vocational high school students throughout Cirebon City who needed to strengthen their digital competencies, especially in understanding system integration, workflow automation, and the use of technology-based applications. This activity was motivated by the needs of the modern workplace which increasingly demands vocational graduates to have the ability to use technology productively, understand data flows, and be able to develop simple digital solutions. The method of implementation of the activity was carried out through a hands-on workshop. Participants received material on digital transformation, the concept of APIs, webhooks, workflow automation, and the use of n8n. The activity continued with a demonstration of workflow creation, guided practice, development of school case studies, presentation of results, and evaluation. The case studies used included automation of activity registration, data storage to spreadsheets, participant recaps, and automatic notification sending. This approach made it easier for participants to understand technical concepts because the material was linked to real-life needs in the school environment. The results of the activity showed that participants were able to create simple workflows using n8n. Participants were able to understand the functions of triggers, nodes, data mapping, credentials, and outputs in the automation process. The satisfaction evaluation showed an average score of 4.50, categorized as very satisfied. The pre-test and post-test results also showed an increase in understanding from 58.25 to 83.40, representing a 25.15-point increase. These results indicate that the community service activity was effective in improving digital literacy and basic workflow automation skills. The activity outputs included training modules, practical worksheets, activity documentation, evaluation results, and simple workflow examples. This activity provided benefits to participants, accompanying teachers, and partner schools. Participants gained applied digital skills, and schools obtained technology-based learning resources. Overall, this activity supports the strengthening of the digital transformation of vocational education in Cirebon City.

Abstract

This program aims to improve digital literacy, coding skills, the use of Artificial Intelligence, and student job readiness to face the development of digital technology-based industries. The background of the activity is based on the need to improve the digital competence of the younger generation in the era of industrial transformation 4.0. The development of digital technology and Artificial Intelligence has resulted in the world of work requiring human resources who have the ability to adapt to technology, think critically, creatively, and are able to utilize technology productively. However, some students still have limited understanding of coding and the use of AI. The implementation method of the activity uses an educational, participatory approach and direct practice through coding workshops and Artificial Intelligence training. Participants received materials on digital literacy, basic algorithms, programming logic, the use of AI tools, digital technology ethics, and motivation for job readiness. The results of the activity showed that participants experienced an increased understanding of coding and Artificial Intelligence. Participants were able to understand the basic concepts of simple programming and the use of AI to support digital learning and productivity. In addition, the activity also increased motivation to learn technology and participant job readiness. Evaluation of the activity implementation showed a high level of participant satisfaction with the quality of the material, training methods, the competence of the speakers, and the benefits of the workshop. The community service activity also strengthened cooperation between universities and SMKN 1 Cirebon in supporting the development of digital technology-based vocational education. Overall, this community service program has successfully made a positive contribution to improving the digital competency and job readiness of young graduates through coding and Artificial Intelligence training.

Abstract

Community service activities at SMK Kuningan Regency on May 16, 2026, emphasized n8n Deployment and Implementation Training in Server Environments. The objective of the activity was to improve participants' skills in server deployment, automated workflow creation, and error troubleshooting. Participants came from SMK Negeri 1 Kuningan, SMK Negeri 2 Kuningan, and SMK Swasta Harapan Bangsa, with a total of 40. The training method was based on direct practice, discussions, case studies, and mini-projects to ensure effective knowledge transfer and relevance to industry needs. Activities were divided into preparation, theory, practice, evaluation, and mentoring stages. Local and virtual server infrastructure was provided so that participants could immediately carry out deployments. Evaluation was carried out through a participant satisfaction questionnaire, which showed an average score of 4.53 out of 5 and a satisfaction percentage of 90.6%. Aspects of the material, facilitators, methods, and facilities were considered very good. The implementation of the training provided tangible results, such as the creation of workflows for practicum data management, internal application integration, and increased administrative workflow efficiency. The total activity budget of IDR 4,500,000.00 was used for honorariums for experts, training modules, infrastructure, server equipment, consumption, and documentation. This activity bridged the gap between participants' competencies and the needs of the digital industry, while simultaneously increasing the capacity of institutions to support technology-based education. The documentation and training modules served as ongoing reference sources for participants and schools. The results of the activity demonstrated that practical methods and active partner participation are crucial for the success of the service. Intensive mentoring and collaboration between academics and schools supported effective knowledge transfer. Overall, this activity successfully improved participants' technical competencies, facilitated the implementation of workflow automation, and created a positive impact on the vocational education ecosystem in Kuningan Regency.

Abstract

Environmental degradation caused by deforestation and the decline of vegetation cover requires conservation efforts that actively involve local communities. One practical approach to environmental conservation is tree planting accompanied by environmental education. This community service program aimed to enhance community participation in environmental conservation through a tree-planting initiative in Puraseda Village, Bogor Regency. The implementation methods included preparation, coordination with the village government, educational sessions on deforestation and environmental conservation, participatory tree-planting activities, and evaluation through observation and group discussions. The program involved university students, village officials, and local residents, fostering collaboration in environmental conservation efforts. The results indicated that participants actively engaged in all stages of the program and demonstrated improved awareness of the importance of environmental conservation. In addition to contributing to ecological restoration through increased vegetation cover, the program strengthened collective environmental awareness and reinforced the spirit of community cooperation (gotong royong) in protecting the environment. Therefore, integrating tree-planting activities with environmental education represents an effective community empowerment approach to increasing public participation in sustainable environmental conservation.

Abstract

PT. Asthamukti Airtech Nusatama, a cooling system component manufacturing company in Central Jakarta, faced operational efficiency constraints due to high waste in the production process. This community service activity aims to apply Lean Manufacturing principles to identify and reduce waste, particularly waiting, motion, and inventory. The methods used include Value Stream Mapping (VSM), 5S implementation, Standardized Work (SW) development, and Kanban system application through an Action Research approach over 5 months (April-August 2026). Implementation results showed a 20% increase in Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) from 65% to 78%, a 30% reduction in lead time from 5 days to 3.5 days, a 40% decrease in work in process (WIP) from 450 units to 270 units, and a reduction in rework from 8% to 3%. This activity proves that the application of Lean Manufacturing effectively improves operational efficiency in medium-scale manufacturing companies with minimal investment and a participatory approach involving all elements of the organization.
