Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) require effective promotion strategies to enhance the visibility and competitiveness of their products, especially in the digital era. This Community Partnership Program aims to develop product promotion websites for MSMEs based on WordPress. Activities include basic training on using the WordPress platform, designing and developing attractive and informative websites, simple search engine optimization (SEO) of content, and website management training for MSME representatives. It is expected that with this promotional website, MSMEs can expand their online market reach, enhance product brand image, and facilitate interaction with potential consumers, ultimately contributing to increased sales and business growth.

Abstract

Basic skills in using Microsoft Office applications are essential competencies for enhancing job opportunities and participation in various activities in the digital era, especially for out-of-school youth who often have limited access to formal education. This Community Partnership Program aims to empower out-of-school youth through basic Microsoft Office training. This training is designed to provide understanding and practical skills in using Microsoft Word for document processing, Microsoft Excel for data processing and simple calculations, and Microsoft PowerPoint for creating presentations. It is expected that, through this training, out-of-school youth can improve their functional skills, open opportunities for jobs requiring basic administrative abilities, and increase their self-confidence in facing the challenges of the digital era.

Abstract

The use of Android-based cashier applications can improve the efficiency and accuracy of transactions for micro-entrepreneurs. This Community Partnership Program aims to provide training on creating simple Android-based cashier applications for micro-entrepreneurs. This training covers the introduction to the basics of Android application development using a specific platform, the design of an intuitive user interface (UI) for sales transactions, the implementation of key cashier application features such as transaction recording, calculation of total purchases, and simple report generation. It is expected that, through this training, micro-entrepreneurs can have the ability to create cashier applications that suit their business needs, thereby improving operational efficiency and financial management.

Abstract

The storage of food products in warehouses requires strict monitoring of environmental conditions, particularly temperature and humidity, to maintain the quality and shelf life of the products. Unstable temperature and humidity levels can trigger the growth of microorganisms, accelerate spoilage, and reduce the market value of the commodities. In this context, the Internet of Things (IoT) technology emerges as a strategic solution that enables real-time monitoring systems to operate automatically and efficiently. This Student Creativity Program (Program Kreativitas Mahasiswa/PKM) aims to design and implement an IoT-based monitoring system to control temperature and humidity in food storage warehouses. The system utilizes a DHT22 sensor to measure temperature and humidity, an ESP32 microcontroller as the control center, and a web-based or mobile application interface platform connected online to monitor the warehouse environment in real time. The collected data is periodically transmitted to a server and can be accessed by users through a dashboard equipped with notification features to alert when conditions exceed predefined thresholds. The methods employed in this project include system design, hardware and software integration, system testing in a food warehouse environment, and performance evaluation. The implementation results indicate that the IoT system can monitor temperature and humidity accurately and in real time. The system also successfully provides early warnings regarding unfavorable environmental conditions, allowing business operators to take immediate corrective actions. The application of this technology not only improves operational efficiency in food warehouse management but also serves as a form of technological education for local industry players, particularly MSMEs (Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises) in the agribusiness sector. It is expected that this system model can be widely adapted across various food storage sectors to prevent losses due to improper storage conditions.

Abstract

The The rapid development of digital technology has opened new opportunities in the entrepreneurial field, especially among the youth. This study, titled “Digital Entrepreneurship for the Karang Taruna of Desa Kedawung,” is designed to identify existing digital potentials and to develop an innovative digital entrepreneurship model aimed at empowering Karang Taruna members by generating job opportunities and enhancing the welfare of the local community. The study employs a mixed-method approach by integrating both qualitative and quantitative methods to analyze the barriers, potentials, and optimal strategies in harnessing digital technology as an economic empowerment tool. The research methodology includes field surveys, in-depth interviews with business practitioners and community leaders, and a comprehensive literature review from various relevant sources. The findings indicate that the digital divide and insufficient training are the primary obstacles to effective digital entrepreneurship implementation. In response, an intensive mentoring program combined with digital literacy training emerges as an effective solution to overcome these challenges. This program not only improves technical skills related to digital platforms but also enhances managerial competencies and entrepreneurial creativity. Furthermore, strategic partnerships with industry players and local academics are expected to foster a sustainable business ecosystem. The implications of this research are significant, as it provides a replicable model for digital entrepreneurship development that can be adapted to similar rural contexts. Active involvement from both governmental and private sectors is crucial to support the program’s sustainability through funding, infrastructure development, and market access. Consequently, this study contributes not only to local economic development but also to reducing youth unemployment, raising community welfare, and accelerating digital transformation in rural areas.

Abstract

The advancement of digital technology provides significant opportunities for micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) to enhance the competitiveness of local products through engaging visual promotions. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of graphic design training using the Canva platform to support the promotion of local products by rural communities. The training program was conducted as part of a community service initiative focusing on improving digital literacy and design skills, especially among housewives and youth from local organizations. The program utilized a participatory approach with stages including observation, training, mentoring, and evaluation. Initial observations indicated that most participants lacked graphic design skills but showed high enthusiasm for learning. The training materials covered the basics of visual design, the use of graphic elements, and hands-on practice in creating posters, product catalogs, and social media content using Canva. Evaluation results showed significant improvement in both technical abilities and creative output among participants. Many were able to produce promotional content suitable for online publication. These findings suggest that accessible online design platforms such as Canva can effectively enhance community capacity in local product promotion. This initiative contributes to the empowerment of the village creative economy and strengthens local product identity through professional and appealing visualization. For sustainability, collaboration with related institutions and the development of local design communities are highly recommended.

Abstract

Karang Taruna, a youth organization at the village level, manages various assets and equipment to support its activities. However, inventory management has mostly been done manually, making it prone to data entry errors, loss of records, and difficulty in asset tracking. This project aims to design and implement a web-based Inventory Information System tailored to the needs of Karang Taruna. The implementation method includes initial observation of the current inventory process, system design using the waterfall method (analysis, design, implementation, testing), and training for Karang Taruna members. The system was developed using PHP programming language and MySQL database with core features including asset entry and withdrawal recording, asset tracking, report generation, and user and category management. The implementation results show that the system improves the accuracy and efficiency of inventory management. Karang Taruna members also showed enthusiasm in operating the system and understanding the importance of asset management digitalization. This information system marks a significant step in the digital transformation of youth organizations in rural areas and can be replicated in similar organizations elsewhere. recommended.

Abstract

Traditional market vendors play a vital role in supporting local economies and contribute significantly to community economic activities. However, most of them have not implemented proper bookkeeping systems, resulting in difficulties in managing cash flow, calculating profits, and accessing formal financial services. This program aims to provide simple bookkeeping assistance to traditional market traders to help them gain basic financial record-keeping skills. The program involved initial observation, development of a simple bookkeeping module, in-person training sessions, and hands-on assistance in daily financial recording. The bookkeeping system was tailored to the needs of small-scale businesses, covering records of income, expenses, and profit-loss, using notebooks and easy-to-understand paper forms. The results indicated an increased awareness among traders about the importance of financial documentation and their ability to independently create basic financial reports. Additionally, some vendors expressed interest in saving and accessing banking services as part of improved financial management. This initiative had a positive impact on enhancing the financial literacy of traditional traders and encouraged the development of a more organized business administration culture. In the future, such mentoring programs are expected to continue periodically and evolve toward the digitalization of simple bookkeeping systems via mobile applications.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has accelerated the adoption of technology in education, particularly the use of e-learning applications. However, a lack of digital skills and understanding among teachers and students remains a major challenge. This Community Service Program aimed to improve digital literacy through training in the use of e-learning platforms. Activities were carried out in several stages: needs assessment, socialization, training, mentoring, and evaluation. The training materials included the introduction to platforms such as Google Classroom and Moodle, digital class management, content development, and online assessment. The results showed a significant improvement in the skills of both teachers and students in utilizing e-learning tools. Teachers became more confident and capable of integrating technology into their teaching processes, while students became more independent and active in online learning. Additionally, the training modules and video tutorials developed during the program served as sustainable learning aids. Online discussion forums were also established to facilitate experience sharing and technical problem-solving collaboratively. This program not only had a positive impact on participants’ technical competencies but also changed their mindset regarding technology use in education. Sustainability is recommended through continued training, infrastructure improvement, and collaboration with various stakeholders. Thus, this initiative is expected to become a model for sustainable digital literacy development in educational settings, particularly in regions that are lagging behind in adopting educational technology.

Abstract

The agricultural sector in villages has great potential to produce high-quality products but still faces challenges in marketing. One major issue is the limited knowledge and skills of farmers in utilizing social media as a promotional tool. Through this community service program, training and mentoring were provided to farmers and agricultural entrepreneurs to enhance their understanding of digital marketing. Activities included the creation and management of business social media accounts, training in creating engaging promotional content (photos, videos, and copywriting), and branding and packaging strategies. The program showed significant improvements in farmers' abilities to market their products independently through platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, and WhatsApp Business. Farmers who previously relied solely on middlemen have now started to sell directly to consumers online. Some partners also reported increased sales and social media engagement. Additionally, the formation of a digital farmer community strengthened promotional networks and experience sharing among agricultural players. This program not only encouraged independent marketing but also enhanced the competitiveness of local agricultural products in broader markets. The program's sustainability is strongly recommended through follow-up mentoring, paid advertising training, and improved digital infrastructure in rural areas. Thus, using social media as a promotional tool becomes not just a short-term solution but a sustainable strategy to drive rural digital economic growth.
