Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisis penyebab keterlambatan pelantikan jabatan Wakil Bupati Kabupaten Bangka Tengah pada sisa masa jabatan 2021 – 2024. Keterlambatan pelantikan jabatan tersebut terjadi hingga hampir satu tahun sebelum terpilihnya Era Susanto pada tanggal 20 Maret 2023, namun baru resmi dilantik pada tanggal 6 November 2023. Peneliti menggunakan teori komunikasi politik Dan Nimmo dalam melihat bagaimana dinamika politik dalam pengisian kekosongan jabatan Wakil Bupati Kabupaten Bangka Tengah serta pola komunikasi politik dan praktik politik yang dijalankan demi mencapai tujuan yang diinginkan. Adapun metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu metode penelitian kualitatif, dengan teknik pengumpulan data wawancara, dokumentasi dan observasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pengisian kekosongan jabatan Wakil Bupati Kabupaten Bangka Tengah telah diupayakan oleh berbagai pihak, dengan menjalin komunikasi yang baik. Era Susanto membangun komunikasi politik dengan pemerintah pusat (Kemendagri), DPRD Kabupaten Bangka Tengah, partai politik dan civil society di Kabupaten Bangka Tengah. Namun dalam proses menuju pelantikannya terjadi problematika dimana, terdapat kekurangan pada salah satu berkas yang perlu dilengkapi, yakni surat rekomendasi dari DPP partai Golkar. Hal ini dianggap janggal dan tidak sesuai dengan aturan yang seharusnya. Meskipun penundaan pelantikan  Era Susanto telah memakan waktu cukup lama, namun dengan berbagai upaya komunikasi politik dan tekanan dari berbagai pihak, akhirnya Era Susanto resmi dilantik sebagai Wakil Bupati Kabupaten Bangka Tengah sisa masa jabatan 2021 – 2024.

Abstract

The spread of disinformation amidst the march towards democracy always occurs from time to time. This problem is quite worrying if it occurs in the upcoming 2024 elections. This article describes media strategies for filtering information facts and existing limitations for regulating social media on matters related to elections. The method used is qualitative with secondary data sources collected from related articles, focusing on the theme of social media disinformation in the election. The research results suggest five strategies for sorting information that can be carried out to adapt to the potential for disinformation that could occur in the election, namely: (1) Fact-checking journalism. (2) Digital journalism must strengthen media literacy and increase the public's critical power in identifying correct and good information from sources that are not credible. (3) Digital journalism can coordinate with the government to manage public information through designated government institutions. (4) Digital journalism needs to have the ability to present accurate, balanced and objective information in order to stop the spread of fake news that is produced on a large scale and spread widely on social media platforms. (5) Digital journalism can utilize AI technology and human-machine collaboration to check the truth and accuracy of online images, videos and reports.

Abstract

This study examines the role of inclusive leadership in driving innovation within Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes) as a catalyst for self-reliant village development in Indonesia. The research employed a qualitative approach with case studies of BUMDes in Kulon Progo, Gunung Kidul, and Yogyakarta City. The study aims to analyze the dynamics of the innovation process in BUMDes and the innovation leadership models in place. Findings indicate that inclusive leadership accelerates innovation by empowering local communities, fostering collaboration, and creating a safe environment for experimentation. Case studies in Kulon Progo and Gunung Kidul demonstrate that successful product, process, marketing, and organizational innovations can enhance local economic growth, community welfare, and environmental sustainability. Strategies for promoting inclusive leadership include capacity building, community engagement, mentorship programs, and recognition. This research positively contributes to the study of innovation in BUMDes and offers practical insights for developing inclusive leadership models across various bureaucratic levels in Indonesia.

Abstract

Pergerakan perempuan sudah mengalami kemajuan yang signifikan dari dahulu hingga sekarang, keikutsertaan kaum perempuan dalam segala aspek kehidupan semakin terlihat dipermukaan. Organisasi yang menjadi wadah setiap manusia untuk berkembang dan meningkatkan kapasitas menunjukkan pentingnya organisasi bagi pergerakan perempuan. Gabungan Organisasi Wanita (GOW) Kabupaten Bangka sebagai organisasi kemasyarakatan dan wadah bagi perempuan Kabupaten Bangka untuk mewujudkan perempuan yang mandiri dan memiliki kapasitas, baik dalam bidang pendidikan, ekonomi, sosial-budaya, politik maupun hukum. Peraturan Daerah Kabupaten Bangka Nomor 8 Tahun 2019 tentang pelaksanaan pengarusutamaan gender di daerah melibatkan GOW Kabupaten Bangka sebagai unit pelaksana dari pengarusutamaan gender yang tertuang pada peraturan tersebut. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji dan mengetahui bagaimana implementasi pengarusutamaan gender melalui GOW sebagai unit pelaksana dan bagaimana hambatan dan tantangan yang dihadapi Gow Kabupaten Bangka. Teori yang digunakan ialah teori implementasi kebijakan Donald Van Metter dan Carl Van Horn (1975). Adapun metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu yaitu metode penelitian kualitatif, dengan teknik pengumpulan data wawancara, dokumentasi dan observasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peran GOW sebagai unit pelaksana dalam mengimplementasikan peraturan pengarusutamaan gender melalui bidang organisasi, pendidikan, ekonomi, kesejahteraan keluarga, sosial-budaya, kesehatan, hukum dan lingkungan hidup melakukan berbagai kegiatan dalam bentuk sosialisasi, kegiatan sosial dan pelatihan secara berkelanjutan untuk pengurus maupun masyarakat serta adanya monitoring dan evaluasi yang dilakukan. GOW mengalami beberapa tantangan dan hambatan dalam pelaksanaan program kerja sehingga beberapa tahun terakhir kegiatan rutin GOW kepada masyarakat mulai berkurang.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji representasi perempuan dalam film The Darkest Minds dengan fokus pada karakter Ruby Daly melalui lensa teori feminis Simone de Beauvoir. Hal ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan bagaimana Ruby mewujudkan perlawanan terhadap sistem patriarki yang menempatkan perempuan pada status “lainnya”, sehingga menegaskan independensi dan kesetaraan kemampuan mereka. Dengan menggunakan metodologi deskriptif kualitatif, penelitian ini menganalisis karakter Ruby sebagai perempuan mandiri yang mengarungi masyarakat yang membatasi potensi dirinya. Temuan ini mengungkapkan 26 poin data yang mencirikan pemberdayaan, solidaritas, dan kompleksitas keberadaan Ruby dalam kerangka patriarki. Secara khusus, analisis ini menyoroti 22 contoh pemberdayaan, 6 contoh "Yang Lain", 7 contoh solidaritas dan aksi kolektif, dan 5 contoh ambiguitas dalam karakterisasinya. Penelitian tersebut menyimpulkan bahwa perempuan, seperti Ruby, mempunyai hak untuk memimpin dan mengadvokasi kepentingan mereka sendiri, menantang anggapan bahwa mereka harus tetap berada di bawah laki-laki. Studi ini berkontribusi pada wacana feminis dengan menekankan pentingnya mengakui hak pilihan dan kemampuan perempuan, mendorong evaluasi ulang norma-norma sosial yang melanggengkan ketidaksetaraan gender. Pada akhirnya, hal ini berupaya menginspirasi perempuan untuk mendefinisikan identitas mereka dan menegaskan hak-hak mereka baik dalam konteks pribadi maupun masyarakat yang lebih luas.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze how efforts to implement Gender Mainstreaming in Tri Dharma, namely education, research, and community service at the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP), University of Bangka Belitung. Furthermore, it also looks at the opportunities and challenges in efforts to implement Gender Mainstreaming into part of the education program. The theory used in this study uses the theory of Van Meter and Van Horn (1975). The research method used is a qualitative method with a descriptive approach with the types and sources of data used including primary data and secondary data. While data collection techniques are interviews, observation, and documentation. The results of this study show that FISIP has efforts in integrating Gender Mainstreaming. The efforts made in education are through the gender course curriculum, public lectures, webinars, seminars, workshops, and collaboration in strengthening the serious commitment of the campus in realizing a model of organizing the Tri Dharma of Higher Education that priotizes Gender Mainstreaming. Furthermore, in research and community service, in line with the Faculty’s field of science and humanities studies, namely social and politics, lecturers and students cannot be separated from studying topics or issues that occur in the community as a discussion in research and community service, which looks at how the relationship and interaction of the community in it. Furthermore, there are several opportunities with the implementation of PUG, which include increasing gender equality in educational access and participation, strengthening research and teaching with a gender perspective, promoting a more inclusive and gender-friendly culture, creating gender-aware physical facilities, improving the image and reputation of the Faculty, strengthening cooperation and there are also several challenges such as the form of regulation, institutional capacity, and pressure from the community in efforts to implement Gender Mainstreaming policies at FISIP, Bangka Belitung University.

Abstract

Globalization also brings changes to all aspects of life, especially in aspects of technology and information which are increasingly rapid along with progress and development. The digital era has also influenced changes in digital regulations. Indonesia as a democratic country continues to maintain the pillars of freedom of expression in accordance with Article 28E paragraph (3) of the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia. The aim of this research is to analyze the influence of the ITE Law on people's freedom to explain on social media platforms and analyze the extent of the influence of the ITE Law in protecting rights. freedom of opinion. This research uses a qualitative approach to explore the impact of digital regulations on freedom of expression, with a focus on the case of the ITE Law in Indonesia. The main data source in this research involves respondents who are social media users who influence or are involved in controversies related to the ITE Law. The results of this research show that the implementation of the ITE Law in Indonesia is still not fully in accordance with the principles of human rights and democratic values. Because there are still articles that have multiple interpretations, and the ITE Law also has a negative impact, namely causing concern for the public to criticize the government, so that one of the rights contained in human rights, in this case the right to freedom of expression, is threatened and has not been fulfilled.

Abstract

The use of AI has now experienced significant developments compared to previous times, especially in the current digital era. Pemilu.AI is present as a digital political platform that offers political data from various electoral districts in order for legislative candidates to develop smart, innovative and efficient political campaign strategies. The findings in this article explain that the data held by the Pemilu.AI platform can help legislative candidates understand crucial sectors in an electoral district, such as vote acquisition data in the 2019 legislative election (Pileg) which is useful for understanding political preferences and identifying political trends, online media data can be used to find trends and topics that are being discussed on social media and online news which can be integrated with legislative candidates' campaigns, etc. This article will examine in more depth what features in the form of data the Pemilu.AI platform has and how these data features supported by AI and Big Data can help legislative candidates achieve success in political campaigns and competitions in Indonesia.

Abstract

This research explores digital democracy through a case study of the #GejayanMemanggil Movement in 2019. The Gejayan Movement was originally initiated in 1998 as a form of movement during the reformation era. But now, the movement reappeared in 2019, which was initiated by Yogyakarta area students to voice their aspirations regarding government policies. Then the action carried out by Yogyakarta area students became a highlight on social media, so #gejayanmemanggil was present as a form of support from the Indonesian people who participated in voicing through social media, so that #geyanmemanggil became a trending topic on Twitter social media in 2019. This research uses a qualitative analysis method, from internet sources such as scientific articles, journals, and relevant and accredited books. This research highlights the role of social media in shaping public opinion and mobilizing participation. It focuses on millennials and Z generations who actively use digital platforms to voice their aspirations and build collective awareness. Transparent government responses and information disclosure are identified as key to maintaining stability and increasing public trust in an era of digital democracy.

Abstract

The Islamic Defense Movement 212 is one of the implementations of identity politics in Indonesia. The 212 movement began as a reaction to a statement made by then Jakarta Governor Basuki Tjahaja Purnama (Ahok), in which he urged people to refuse to be influenced by verse 51 in Surah Al-Maidah. This caused turmoil among Muslims in Indonesia, because Ahok was considered blasphemy by Muslims. The existence of the Muslim social movement shows that the 212 Movement is a manifestation of the struggle to defend the religious aspects of Islam that were destroyed by a Jakarta governor in 2016. The purpose of the following journal article is to analyze the extent to which the 212 Islamic defense action movement as a social movement affects the dynamics of community participation. The research method used is a qualitative research approach with a descriptive analysis method, while the data collection procedure for journal articles is through document and literature studies. The results obtained from this research are that this movement succeeded in mobilizing community participation through effective mobilization through religious rhetoric. Solidarity among movement participants emerged because of a moral call to defend religious teachings that were considered threatened. Awareness of religious issues is also one of the positive impacts of participation in the 212 Movement, creating a society that is more aware of religious values and related issues.
