Abstract

Educational evaluation is a strategic element in ensuring the quality of learning in police education institutions. This study aims to comprehensively describe the implementation of educational evaluation management at SPN Polda Maluku. Employing a descriptive qualitative approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and document analysis involving three key informant groups: managerial staff, instructors, and cadets. Findings reveal that evaluation is carried out systematically through planning, execution, and follow-up, engaging multiple actors and supported by digitalized tools and reporting systems. Evaluation encompasses not only academic performance but also integrity and operational readiness. This process demonstrates alignment between institutional demands and character development. The study highlights a context-sensitive and sustainable evaluative approach within police education. The implications emphasize the importance of establishing an independent evaluation unit, strengthening evaluative training for instructors, and updating adaptive technology-based systems in response to institutional dynamics.

Abstract

The implementation of traditional marriage in the Kei region is a complex cultural legacy rooted in strong social values. The community of Ohoi Waur in Kei Besar District continues to uphold customary marriage practices based on the hierarchical and collective Larvul Ngabal customary law. This study aims to analyze how social management practices operate within traditional structures through processes of planning, organizing, implementation, and evaluation. This research employed a descriptive qualitative approach using participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation techniques. Findings reveal that managerial practices in customary marriages are not spontaneous but are embedded within role distribution patterns, social control, and coordination mechanisms among families and customary leaders. These patterns demonstrate the internal capacity of the community to manage inherited values through adaptive traditional structures. The study offers a new perspective that local management systems can serve as an organized and directed basis for social governance. The implication encourages community-based cultural preservation policies, with a recommendation to replicate this research in other customary communities to enrich local social practice mapping.

Abstract

This research aims to map the path and access of earthquake and tsunami disaster evacuation achievements in the Lewoleba urban area, East Nusa Tenggara. This area is in a high risk zone, so effective evacuation planning is needed. The method used is a GIS-based Network Analyst that determines the fastest and closest evacuation route from the risk point to the shelter. The data used includes networks, risk points, shelters, and elevation data. The analysis is carried out by considering the distance, travel time, and topography. Research results show that there are still shelters that meet the safety criteria, and a number of areas have not yet reached the optimal evacuation route. Recommendations in the form of adding risk starting points and evaluating the location of shelters and evacuation routes are given as mitigation efforts. This research is expected to be the basis for planning spatial-based disaster evacuation routes in disaster-prone area

Abstract

The implementation of the Independent Curriculum in self-registered schools faces challenges, particularly limited understanding and resource support. This study aims to assess the effectiveness of learning communities in supporting the Independent Curriculum at SMA Negeri 9 Ambon. Using a qualitative descriptive approach through interviews, observations, and documentation, the study found that learning communities serve as forums for discussion, collaborative material development, and reflective teaching practices. The main obstacles include lack of structured planning and limited funding, yet teacher involvement and school leadership still enhanced curriculum comprehension. The findings confirm that learning communities effectively foster collaboration and strengthen the learning ecosystem. The study recommends sustainable funding and stronger inter-school networks to optimize curriculum implementation

Abstract

The implementation of the Computer Based National Assessment requires comprehensive school resource readiness. This study aimed to examine resource management at SD Kristen Piliana, Tehoru District, Central Maluku Regency in implementing ANBK. Using a qualitative descriptive method, the study involved principals, teachers, committees, and parents as informants. Findings reveal that resource management remains suboptimal, with lack of electricity and internet access as major constraints. Nonetheless, teacher commitment and collaboration with SMPN 119 serve as key enabling factors. These findings underscore the need for inter-institutional synergy and internal strategy reinforcement. It is recommended that schools and policymakers prioritize infrastructure development and enhance teachers' technical competencies to ensure equitable digital assessment implementation in underdeveloped areas.
