Abstract

Traffic discipline remains a significant challenge among students, particularly at the secondary school level. To address this issue, a community service team from Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta conducted a program at MA Plus Nururrohmah. The objective was to instill traffic awareness and discipline through educational and participatory approaches. The methods included interactive seminars, safety riding training, and student role simulations as school traffic officers. The program engaged students, teachers, staff, and external stakeholders such as the police. The results indicated substantial improvements in students’ traffic knowledge, attitudes, and behavior, including consistent helmet use and organized parking. This program demonstrates that participatory school-based traffic education can effectively foster a culture of safety among students

Abstract

This service activity aims to increase the digital capacity of grocery kiosk MSME players in Wamena City through training and assistance in using WhatsApp Business as a means of promotion, communication, and customer service. The method used combines inductive, Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD), and Participatory Action Research (PAR) approaches, with gradual implementation starting from needs identification, training, to evaluation. Results showed that the majority of participants successfully activated and utilized WhatsApp Business features, including product catalogs, automated messages, and customer labels. The application improved service professionalism and expanded the market reach of MSMEs. Despite challenges such as limited internet and devices, the participatory approach and intensive mentoring were able to overcome these obstacles. This program proves the effectiveness of simple technology in supporting the digital transformation of MSMEs in disadvantaged areas in a sustainable manner.

Abstract

This Community Service Activity (PKM) aims to improve English comprehension in Class 1 of SD Inpres Wolowona 2 on the topic of fruits. Initial observations showed that the comprehension of class 1 students in English subject was still low, this was caused by the lack of interesting learning methods and media. To overcome this, the community service team implemented the Make A Match method combined with game playing and singing activities. The learning process that actively involves student through a game of chance pictures with words related to the basics of English and singing simple English songs. The results obtained showed an increase in student’s learning skills and motivation. The approach used was able to create a fun and interactive learning atmosphere so that it helps students understand the fruits material well. This PKM activity is espected to be able to add innovative English learning methods at the Elementary School level

Abstract

This community service activity aims to increase the income of  UMKM in Pisugi Village, Wamena Regency, using brand voice techniques accessed on electronic devices (cell phones). Brand voice techniques are a way of communicating a brand by displaying an attractive style, logo, language and tone to attract consumers. The presence of brand voice in a product can have a significant effect on sales results both digitally and directly. Marketing techniques like this will increase consumer trust and interest. This training activity uses an inductive approach, mentoring and supervision. The stages of community service implementation begin with a field survey, then conducting analysis and potential owned by the local community. After this training activity, the insight and skills of the UMKM community become more open and trained. So they are able to create loyalty, increase income and consumer trust in the products offered

Abstract

This community mentoring activity aims to identify local potential that can be developed into creative economic products and formulate development strategies appropriate to the characteristics of tourist villages. The mentoring approach uses socialization and talk shows. The mentoring results indicate that creative economy development based on local potential, such as arts and crafts, traditional culinary arts, local culture, and ecotourism, can increase community income and strengthen local identity. Recommended development strategies include increasing human resource capacity, collaborating with various stakeholders, utilizing digital technology for promotion, and strengthening village institutions. In conclusion, developing a creative economy based on local potential requires a participatory, sustainable, and adaptive approach to the dynamics of the tourism market

Abstract

This community service activity aims to improve the knowledge and skills of MSMEs in business management, marketing, and digital technology in Bangsring Village. This activity was carried out through an MSME bazaar to increase community involvement through participatory programs, forming working groups or bazaar committees consisting of local residents and providing incentives for active community participation. The results of the community service activity show that the MSME bazaar program plays a strategic role in strengthening the local economy and building village independence. Through this bazaar, MSMEs are given the opportunity to market their products more widely, increase income, and establish sustainable partnerships..

Abstract

This community service program aims to increase the production and marketing capacity of the Rumah Batik Andalan Batik Business in Pelalawan Regency through assistance in implementing digital marketing. The implementation method includes a participatory approach with stages of needs identification, training, intensive assistance, and evaluation of implementation results. The results of the community service program indicate that after receiving training and assistance, business owners are able to actively manage social media accounts, create engaging digital promotional content, and utilize marketplace platforms to expand their marketing network. Furthermore, there was a 35% increase in demand for batik products within two months of implementing digital marketing.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to improve the understanding of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) to be able to manage finances through transaction bookkeeping and preparing simple financial reports. The target of this PKM activity is MSMEs who sell online and are domiciled in Jabodetabek, the majority of whom are young people. The method of implementation of this PKM activity is training with the Presman and participatory methods. This PKM activity was carried out online for two days on October 12, 2024 and October 13, 2024. The results of this community service activity have been carried out well by achieving an average questionnaire score of 3.78 and an increase in pretest and posttest scores from 62 to 87. These results indicate an increase in understanding of MSMEs regarding transaction bookkeeping and preparing financial reports which are expected to help them in improving accuracy and competitiveness through accurate financial reporting.

Abstract

This community service aims to provide the audience with an understanding of the phenomenon of online gambling, the legal basis, and the legal consequences of online gambling. This activity was carried out in Dukuh Hamlet RT.05, Seloharjo Village, Pundong District, Bantul Regency, in August, 3rd 2025with a target audience of 25 people using the counseling method. Knowledge about the phenomenon of online gambling, the legal basis, and the legal consequences of online gambling began to be understood by the participants, seen from the great enthusiasm to understand about these matters. Participants have understood the material presented.

Abstract

This  community service activity aims to provide understanding and training to the managers of Derbi Beauty Glow (DBG), located on Jl. Tanjung Barangan, Palembang City, regarding the importance of preparing financial reports as part of accountable and sustainable business management.  The activity was conducted on July 1, 2025, at 1:30 PM WIB and was attended by the business owner. The activity included educational sessions and practical training covering basic understanding of financial statements, recording of income and expenditure transactions, and the preparation of a simple profit and loss statement. The results of the activity showed an increase in participants' knowledge and skills in systematically preparing business records, which is expected to support decision-making and business sustainability through more organized and informative financial management.
