Abstract

This community service program aimed to implement the Twin Towers Integration paradigm in the inclusive education curriculum model within the Inclusive Education course of the PGMI undergraduate program at UIN Sunan Ampel Surabaya. The program was conducted by doctoral students (S3 PGMI) through academic mentoring for third-semester undergraduate students as a form of community service in the academic context. A participatory-educative approach integrated with classroom instruction was employed, including needs analysis, concept socialization, curriculum development training, and evaluation. The results indicate a significant improvement in students’ conceptual understanding of inclusive education integrated with Islamic values such as compassion, justice, and respect for diversity. Students also demonstrated more open and reflective attitudes toward learner diversity. In terms of practical skills, they were able to design inclusive curricula by applying adaptation models of duplication, modification, substitution, and omission based on the context of Islamic elementary schools. These findings confirm that the Twin Towers Integration paradigm is effective in strengthening prospective teachers’ competencies theoretically, affectively, and practically.

Abstract

Computer courses are training programs to help someone learn about computers so that they can understand and operate them properly. Education in Indonesia also requires the use of computers because exams in schools are currently mostly done computer-based, not using paper and pens. However, the understanding and skills of elementary school children in RT 3, RW 07, Dusun Kandang Panjang, Tajur Halang Village, Tajur Halang District, Bogor do not meet the standards. For this reason, the purpose of implementing this program is first to introduce basic computer theory. Second, to teach the practice of using computers from Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Activities are carried out once a week with a time span from August 12 to October 10, 2024. The methods used in the implementation are lectures, watching relevant videos, direct practice and interspersed with games and giving incentives and small prizes. After implementing this program, the children in the hamlet can understand the basics of computers well and can operate

Abstract

Digital literacy among educators in Indonesia, particularly regarding the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) as an instructional tool, remains a critical challenge. This community service program aimed to improve AI literacy and practical skills in creating AI-based digital teaching materials among educators across educational levels, from elementary to senior high school (SD to SMA/SMK). The program was implemented through a series of workshops covering the use of Generative AI, Augmented Reality (AR), and Virtual Reality (VR) in learning design, conducted in Yogyakarta. Participants included 161 educators: 49 junior teachers (experience < 5 years) and 112 senior teachers (experience > 5 years). Data were collected through observation and documented through thematic analysis. Results showed that 100% of junior teachers and 72.32% of senior teachers (81 out of 112) had been exposed to generative AI tools prior to the workshop. Post-workshop evaluations indicated increased understanding of AI tools and improved ability to design AI-integrated teaching materials. Key barriers to AI adoption identified include limited digital infrastructure, low self-efficacy, and absence of structured AI training programs. The primary output of this program is a set of AI-based digital teaching materials produced by participants during the workshop. These findings contribute practical recommendations for designing scalable AI literacy training programs for educators in Indonesia.

Abstract

The development of tourism villages in Bali increasingly requires innovative and adaptive approaches that go beyond conventional service management. In the era of experience economy, community-based tourism, and sustainable destination branding, the concept of Quantum Hospitality emerges as a transformative framework that integrates emotional intelligence, cultural authenticity, local participation, and holistic visitor experience into the development of tourism village products. This study aims to examine the role of Quantum Hospitality in strengthening tourism village products, particularly in the context of Gianyar, Bali, as one of the regions with strong cultural tourism potential. This approach is considered appropriate as it allows for an in-depth understanding of social phenomena, community behavior, and experiential transformation within the tourism village context. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and documentation analysis. The primary method used in this study is in-depth interviews, aimed at capturing the lived experiences, perceptions, and emotional awareness of local stakeholders. Total of 10 informants were selected using purposive sampling, consisting of tourism village community, local MSME actors, culinary business owners, community members involved in tourism services. The findings indicate that Quantum Hospitality contributes to tourism village product development through five main dimensions: emotional resonance, cultural embeddedness, co-creative interaction, symbolic service value, and community-based transformation. These dimensions enable tourism villages to design products that are not only marketable but also meaningful, memorable, and aligned with local wisdom. The study also highlights that the implementation of Quantum Hospitality in tourism villages requires synergy among local communities, tourism managers, government, educational institutions, and digital promotion actors. This paper concludes that Quantum Hospitality offers a relevant and innovative paradigm for strengthening tourism village competitiveness while preserving Balinese cultural identity and promoting sustainable rural tourism development.

Abstract

The modern chemical and petrochemical industries face a complex triad of challenges encompassing flow assurance risks in extreme environments, optimization of catalytic processes for high-value chemical synthesis, and achievement of aggressive decarbonization targets mandated by global sustainability frameworks. Current literature predominantly addresses these domains in isolation, resulting in a fragmented understanding of the interdependencies between molecular-level phenomena, reactor-scale engineering, and systemic sustainability constraints. This systematic review synthesizes eighty peer-reviewed studies published between 2015 and 2026, utilizing PRISMA methodology and quality assessment protocols to bridge this multi-scale gap. The thematic synthesis reveals a critical efficiency-sustainability trade-off wherein traditional flow assurance solutions directly conflict with carbon reduction mandates, alongside a significant modeling gap whereby molecular-scale insights fail to translate into macroscopic kinetic models due to absent meso-scale translation methodologies. To resolve these structural contradictions, this review proposes the Integrated Molecular-to-Industrial Sustainability Loop (IMISL) framework, conceptualizing the industry as a closed-loop system where systemic sustainability constraints provide direct feedback to molecular design and process engineering layers. The IMISL framework enforces co-optimization of operational efficacy and environmental impact from the earliest stages of catalyst or inhibitor design, offering a novel pathway for transitioning the chemical industry from linear carbon-intensive operations to sustainable, digitally integrated manufacturing paradigms.
