Abstract

Mathematics and SBDP (Social and Cultural Arts and Physical Education) are mandatory subjects in Elementary School. From grade 1 to grade 6, these subjects are taught. So far, Mathematics is considered a difficult subject, causing many students to be uninterested in it. This lack of interest results in a low motivation to attend Mathematics lessons. Given this phenomenon, it is necessary to create engaging lessons for students. These lessons can be integrated with other subjects and also related to P5 (Project for Strengthening Pancasila Student Profiles), in line with the Merdeka Belajar curriculum. Projects with cultural values, themed on local wisdom, are ideal. Additionally, in this digital age, we must be able to implement multimedia learning to facilitate the delivery of lesson materials to students. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of implementing multimedia based on local song lyrics in increasing the motivation and understanding of first-grade students at SD Negeri Muntilan in Mathematics. The background of this research is the low interest of students in Mathematics, which is often considered difficult and boring. The number of research subjects is 27 first-grade students at SD Negeri Muntilan who show a lack of motivation and understanding in Mathematics. This research uses a quantitative approach with an experimental design. The experimental group received Mathematics lessons through multimedia based on local song lyrics, while the control group received lessons using conventional methods. Data were collected through Mathematics comprehension tests and learning motivation questionnaires before and after the intervention. The results of the study show that the use of multimedia based on local song lyrics significantly increases students' motivation and understanding of Mathematics. The average Mathematics comprehension scores of the students increased by 23%, while their learning motivation increased by 28%. These findings indicate that this innovative approach is effective in changing students' perceptions of Mathematics and improving their learning outcomes. The conclusion of this study is that the implementation of multimedia based on local song lyrics can be an effective strategy in increasing students' motivation and understanding of Mathematics in first-grade elementary school. The integration of local culture in learning not only helps preserve cultural heritage but also makes the learning process more engaging and enjoyable for students.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan ingin meningkatkan kompetensi guru dalam mengelola pembelajaran yang aktif, kreatif, efektif, dan menyenangkan. Pengumpulan data penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi dokumen, observasi, dan tes. Data dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif, dengan melihat rata-rata skor hasil observasi dari siklus I siklus II. Hasil penelitian siklus I menunjukkan bahwa indikator keberhasilan belum tercapai dalam semua aspek, baik kemampuan guru dalam pengembangan silabus, kemampuan guru dalam pengembangan RPP, kemampuan guru dalam melaksanakan proses pembelajaran PAKEM, maupun tingkat aktivitas/ pertisipasi siswa dalam pembelajaran, serta prestasi hasil belajar siswa. Siklus II menunjukkan bahwa semua indikator keberhasilan sudah tercapai dalam semua aspek, baik kemampuan guru dalam pengembangan silabus, kemampuan guru dalam pengembangan RPP, kemampuan guru dalam melaksanakan proses pembelajaran PAKEM, maupun tingkat aktivitas/pertisipasi siswa dalam pembelajaran, serta prestasi hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian diakhiri setelah siklus kedua menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kompetensi guru dalam mengelola pembelajaran yang aktif, kreatif, efektif, dan menyenangkan. Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan layanan pengembangan diri untuk kegiatan konseling dan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler di SD Negeri Kembaran UPT P dan K Loano Purworejo. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif menggunakan desain studi kasus. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis data yang disusun di lokasi. Validitas data menggunakan triangulasi. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa layanan pengembangan diri untuk kegiatan konseling dilakukan oleh guru kelas, karena sekolah belum memiliki guru konseling. Aspek yang dikembangkan dalam layanan ini adalah keterampilan pribadi siswa, keterampilan belajar, dan keterampilan sosial. Guru kelas yang mengadakan layanan dalam bentuk individu, kelompok, dan klasikal masih memiliki kendala, yaitu media yang belum disiapkan. Pengelolaan pengembangan diri untuk kegiatan ekstrakurikuler di Sekolah melakukan kerjasama dengan orang tua terutama sebelum kegiatan dan melakukan evaluasi untuk aspek program, penasihat, dan hasil kegiatan. Pengembangan layanan mandiri di sekolah ini membantu membentuk nilai-nilai karakter siswa yang menjadi subjek layanan. Kata kunci: layanan, pengembangan diri, perbatasan

Abstract

The calculation of population projections in Indonesia at the provincial level is carried out by BPS using the component method, while at the district level it is done using the geometric method with the basic reference of calculating compound interest. From this, it is necessary to take another approach in calculating the projected population in the province of the Special Region of Yogyakarta. This study aims to determine population projections in the Special Region of Yogyakarta using exponential and logistic models based on growth rate and carrying capacity. The data used in this study is secondary data from the Central Bureau of Statistics of the Special Region of Yogyakarta in 2017–2022. The research method used is to determine the research subject, collect data, analyze the data, and draw conclusions. The result of this research is that the carrying capacity of the Special Region of Yogyakarta is 10,652,814 and the population growth rate for the logistic model is 0,02048.

Abstract

This article examines three types of induction methods in mathematics: mathematical induction, transfinite induction, and induction over the continuum. If a statement holds true for all natural numbers, it is proven using mathematical induction. If a statement holds true for all ordinal numbers, it is proven using transfinite induction. Since induction over the continuum cannot be applied to a statement, when something is said to be proven true for every point in [a, b), the proof is done using induction over the continuum.

Abstract

Eksistensi dari direct product dalam kategori grup abelian ada; jika diberikan keluarga grup abelian yaitu {(G_i,+_i )?i?I} maka direct productnya adalah ?_(i?I)?G_i dan  extrenal direct sumnya juga ada yaitu ?_(i?I)?G_i. Kemudian jika diberikan sebuah keluarga subgrup normal dari grup abelian G yaitu {N_i?i?I}, maka internal direct sumnya juga ada dan dinotasikan dengan G=(_i?I^?)N_i.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of a culture-based school program at SMP Negeri 7 Yogyakarta. This study uses a qualitative phenomenological approach, with data collection techniques carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study show that the school has succeeded in integrating Javanese cultural values into various aspects of school life. Teachers have a good understanding of the concept of culture-based schools. Programs that have been implemented include cultural familiarization, extracurricular activities, and integration in learning. Although there are challenges, such as limited resources, financial support and the influence of globalization, students participation and support from teachers and parents are quite high. This study concludes that the culture-based school program at SMP Negeri 7 Yogyakarta has great potential in forming the character of students who have noble morals, creativity and have a strong identity. To increase the effectiveness of the program, the school is recommended to continue to develop more interesting programs, increase teachers capacity, strengthen collaboration with the community, and conduct regular evaluations.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi guru dalam merancang dan menggunakan media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis Canva. Berdasarkan observasi awal di SD Negeri Karangmojo, diketahui bahwa sebagian besar guru masih menggunakan media konvensional dan belum familiar dengan Canva. Kegiatan dilaksanakan dalam bentuk pelatihan/workshop dengan pendekatan partisipatif. Materi yang diberikan meliputi pengenalan Canva, praktik membuat media pembelajaran, serta simulasi penggunaannya di kelas. Evaluasi dilakukan melalui observasi hasil karya peserta dan kuesioner kepuasan. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan guru dalam menggunakan Canva, dengan 73% peserta menyatakan puas dan 27% cukup puas terhadap kegiatan ini. Pelatihan ini terbukti bermanfaat dalam menunjang proses pembelajaran yang lebih menarik, kreatif, dan sesuai dengan tuntutan abad 21.

Abstract

Kemampuan membaca dan menulis anak-anak dan masyarakat di dusun Cumpleng tergolong rendah. Mereka lebih cenderung memilih untuk bermain dan nongkrong di balai desa hanya sekedar untuk bermain game online. Pengabdian ini menitik beratkan pada upaya pendampingan sebuah pembangunan rumah baca, yang bertujuan untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut. Maka dari itu, pendampingan ini menggunakan tiga tahapan yakni perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan hasil. Tahap perencanaan yakni melakukan sebuah observasi, menyusun jadwal, dan membuat Forum Group Discussion (FGD). Tahap pelaksanaan yakni merealisasikan aksi pembanguanna rumah baca tersebut dan setelah terrealisasikan rumah baca tersebut diadakan sebuah peresmian. Tahapan terakhir yaitu hasil, pada tahapan ini sejauh mana anak-anak dan masyarakat di dusun Cumpleng dapat memanfaat fasilitas yang telah ada. Dan hasilnya diperoleh bahwa anak-anak dapat memanfaatkan rumah baca tersebut dan dapat mengakses pengetahuan melalui fasilitas internet yang ada.Kata Kunci: gerakan literasi; rumah baca.Assistance For Community Literation Movement Through Reading HouseABSTRACTThe ability to read and write children and the community in the village of Cumpleng is relatively low. They are more likely to choose to play and hang out at the village hall to play online games. This dedication focuses on assisting in the construction of a reading house, which aims to overcome these problems. Therefore, this assistance uses three stages, namely, planning, implementation, and results. The planning stage is to make an observation, arrange a schedule, and create a Group Discussion Forum (FGD). The implementation phase is to realize the building of the reading house, and after the reading, the house is understood an inauguration will be held. The final stage is the results. At this stage, the extent to which children and the community in the village of Cumpleng can take advantage of existing facilities. And the results are obtained that children can use the reading house and can access knowledge through existing internet facilities.Keywords: literacy movement; reading house.
