Abstract

Mathematical model has many benefits in life, especially the development of science and application to other fields. The mathematical model seeks to represent real-life problems formulated mathematically to get the right solution. This research is the application of mathematical models in the field of biology that examines the interaction of the two populations that host populations and parasitoid populations. This study differs from previous studies that examine the interaction of two more species that prey and predators where predators kill prey quickly. In this study the parasitoid population slowly killing the host population by living aboard and take food from the host population it occupies. In this study of differential equations are used to construct a mathematical model was particularly focused on the stability of the local mathematical model of interaction of two differential equations that host and parasitoid populations. Stability discussed in this study are stable equilibrium points are obtained from the characteristic equation systems of differential equations host and parasitoid interactions. Type the stability of the equilibrium point is determined on the eigenvalues of the Jacobian matrix. Analysis of stability is obtained by determining the eigenvalues of the Jacobian matrix around equilibrium points. Having obtained the stable equilibrium points are then given in the form of charts and portraits simulation phase to determine the behavior of the system in the future.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe students' mathematical literacy in solving PISA problems with Adversity Quotient (AQ) type of Climber, Camper, and Quitter. This type of research is a qualitative descriptive study with a form of case study research. The subjects of this study were students of class IX 1 of SMP Negeri 3 Tulungagung who had AQ types of climber, camper, and quitter. Data collection was carried out by giving Stoltz's modified ARP questionnaire to determine research subjects, PISA test questions, and interview. Data were analyzed using a Miles and Huberman’s model, which include: data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion/ verification. The results of this study indicate that mathematical literacy ability of Climber‘s student is at 5th level, which was shown to be able to solve PISA problems of 1st level to 5th level and not right in solving of 6th level. Mathematical literacy ability of Camper’s student is at 4th level, which was shown to be able to solve PISA problems of 1st level to 4th level and not right in solving of 5th level and 6th level. Mathematical literacy ability of Quitter’s student is at 4th level, which was shown to be able to solve PISA problems of 1st level to 4th level, besides that it was not right in solving of 5th level and not able to solving of 6th level.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkatan kreatifitas siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal matematika pada materi baris dan deret. Penelitian kualitatif deskripstif ini dilakukan dengan metode tes dan wawancara dengan subjek 41 siswa kelas XI TKR-3 SMK Sore Tulungagung. Sedangkan subjek yang diwawancarai sebanyak 6 siswa. Dari hasil tes dan wawancara dapat disimpulkan bahwa rata-rata siswa memenuhi satu aspek dari tiga aspek kreativitas itu berarti dalam menyelesaikan soal matematika siswa kelas XI-TKR 3 di SMK Sore Tulungagung termasuk siswa yang cukup kreatif (tingkat 1). Hasil trianggulasi hasil tes dan hasil wawancara dengan enam subjek wawancara tersebut peneliti menyimpulkan bahwa siswa kelas XI-TKR 3 di SMK Sore Tulungagung termasuk siswa yang cukup kreatif.

Abstract

This study aims to know about differences in student learning outcomes that are reviewed from the SAVI learning modelwith Reciprocal Teaching learning model on circle material. This quantitative quasi-experiment research carried in SMPN 1 Karangrejo with 348 population and sample takencluster random samplingso that there are 2 classes namely VIII D class as a SAVI learning model class with 32 students, and VIII B clas as a reciprocal teaching learning model class with 32 students. The data analize using t-test. After making a calculation with a significant level is 5% and dk 62 so obtained tcount= 7,141765 > ttable= 1,99897, its mean H0 rejected and H1 received, so it was concluded that there was a significant difference between the learning outcomes of mathematics using the SAVI learning model and the Reciprocal Teaching learning model at the learning outcomes of mathematics on circle material at the students VIII class in SMPN 1 Karangrejo in the period 2017/2018 Keywords:mathematics learning outcomes, SAVI, reciprocal teachin

Abstract

Try out bertujuan untuk melatih siswa mengerjakan soal ujian nasional. Try out dapat dijadikan sebagai pretest guna mengetahui kemampuan awal siswa sebelum mengerjakan soal Ujian Nasional. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI peserta try out se-Kabupaten Tulungagung sebanyak 10933 siswa. Sedangkan jumlah sampel diambil menggunakan persamaan formula empiris yaitu sebanyak 327 siswa. Teknik pengambilan sampling dilakukan dengan cara random sampling. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan metode dokumentasi. Dokumentasi ini diperoleh darii MKKS (SMP) Kabupaten Tulungagung berupa soal, kunci jawaban, lembar jawaban, dan skor jawaban peserta didik kemudian memasukkan skor jawaban peserta didik ke tabel tabulasi. Untuk mengetahui validitas empiris menggunakan teknik Point Biseral. Untuk analisis data menggunakan program Anates. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa soal try out Ujian Nasional SMP memiliki validitas kurikuler valid, validitas item, dan opsi pengecoh sebesar 100%. Sedangkan tingkat kesukaran sedang dan daya beda baik sebesar 65% reliabel.

Abstract

Parents play an important role in education, because they can help develop children’s learning potential and become a determining factor for the child’s future. Children must be given the best education from an early age, so that it can have a positive impact on children when they become students at school. The purpose of this service was to determine the importance of learning mathematics, to motivate and foster children’s interest in mathematics, to determine on how to help children in learning mathematics properly, to determine the practical and humanist mathematics learning knowledge, and to provide the appropriate and fun learning methods for children. In this service activity, there were several problems encountered in Pojok Hamlet, among others, parents had limited ability and time to foster children’s mathematics learning, children had difficulty in understanding mathematics, parents were not confident in fostering their children to learn mathematics. The methods used in the implementation of this activity were the lecture and question and answer methods. This service activity was attended by parents of grade 2 and 3 at SDN 3 Pojok, Campurdarat District. Based on the results of questionnaires and interviews conducted in this service activity, it was found that parents were very enthusiastic and their knowledge increased after attending the counseling. There was an increase in the frequency of parents in fostering and helping their children to study at home. Referring to the results of this counseling activity, it can be concluded that parents should provide mathematical knowledge from an early age to their children, specifically for early grade children, particularly grades 1, 2, and 3. Basic mathematical knowledge can be used as a provision for skills for parents in assisting their children to learn mathematics. Parents can use mathematics teaching aids in the neighborhood in fostering their children to learn mathematics about addition, multiplication and division. Abstrak Peran orangtua terhadap pendidikan sangatlah penting karena membantu perkembangan belajar anak dan menjadi salah satu faktor penentu masa depan anak. Sejak dini anak-anak harus diberikan pendidikan yang terbaik agar memberikan dampak positif bagi anak didik. Tujuan pengabdian ini adalah mengetahui pentingnya belajar ilmu matematika, memotivasi dan menumbuhkan minat anak terhadap matematika, mengetahui bagaimana cara mendampingi anak belajar matematika dengan baik, mengetahui pengetahuan belajar matematika yang praktis dan humanis dan metode belajar yang tepat dan menyenangkan bagi anak. Permasalahan yang dihadapi di dusun Pojok yaitu orang tua mempunyai keterbatasan kemampuan dan waktu dalam membimbing belajar matematika anak, anak mengalami kesulitan dalam memahami matematika, orang tua tidak percaya diri membimbing anak belajar matematika. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan berupa ceramah dan tanya jawab. Kegiatan pengabdian ini diikuti oleh orang tua siswa kelas 2 dan 3 SDN 3 Pojok Kecamatan Campurdarat. Kegiatan pengabdian ini diperoleh beberapa hasil yaitu dari hasil angket dan wawancara, orang tua sangat antusias dan pengetahuannya bertambah setelah mengikuti pelatihan. Terjadi peningkatan frekuensi orang tua dalam membimbing dan membantu putra-putrinya belajar di rumah. Orang tua hendaknya memberikan pengetahuan matematika sejak dini bagi anak khususnya untuk anak kelas awal yaitu kelas 1, 2, dan 3. Pengetahuan matematika dasar dapat dijadikan bekal keterampilan bagi orang tua dalam mendampingi anak-anaknya belajar matematika. Orang tua bisa menggunakan alat peraga matematika yang ada di lingkungan sekitar dalam membimbing putra putrinya belajar matematika tentang penjumlahan, perkalian dan pembagian.

Abstract

Mathematics is a subject that has the concept of interrelation between one material with another. Understanding the interrelated material required the existence of a basic ability that is the ability to connect mathematics. The obstacle experienced by students is that when given a problem and the solution is related to the previous material, students are unable to remember the material that is the key to solving the problem. The inability of students is due to lack of memory of previous material and students pay less attention when the teacher is explaining in class. Personality differences make students have different mathematical connection abilities. The purpose of this study is to describe the ability of students' mathematical connections in terms of sanguinis, koleris, melancholy, and plegmatic personality types. This type of research is a qualitative descriptive study in the form of case study research. Methods of data collection used personality type questionnaires, math connection test questions, and interviews. The results showed that the sanguinis and plegmatic personality types were able to meet all the connection indicators. Koleris personality type is able to fulfill 4 indicators. Melancholy personality types produce different connection capabilities, namely the ability of connections that meet 4 indicators and 1 indicator. This research can provide benefits for students to improve their mathematical connections and understand their personality types. Students who understand their personality types can minimize negative traits that inhibit mathematical connections.

Abstract

Minyak jelantah merupakan limbah yang sering dihasilkan dari sisa penggorengan rumah tangga maupun pedagang. Tepatnya di Dusun Pawirodirjan, Gondomanan, Yogyakarta mayoritas masyarakat yang masih membuang limbah rumah tangga minyak jelantah begitu saja tanpa adanya pengelolaan kembali agar lebih ramah lingkungan. Minimnya pengetahuan masyarakat mengenai pemanfaatan minyak jelantah menyebabkan limbah ini sering terbuang begitu saja. Limbah minyak jelantah  yang dibuang begitu saja tanpa diolah kembali akan mencemari lingkungan dan kesehatan. Berdasarkan permasalahan yang ada penulis memiliki tujuan yaitu dengan diberikannya pemahaman dan pelatihan mengenai pemanfaatan limbah minyak jelantah menjadi lilin aromaterapi di Dusun Pawirodirjan, Gondomanan,Yogyakarta masyarakat dapat lebih menjaga kelestarian lingkungan serta mampu merubah limbah minyak jelantah menjadi barang yang bernilai ekonomis. Metode yang digunakan untuk melaksanakan projek yaitu dengan (1) pelatihan; (2) demonstrasi; (3) pendampingan; (4) evaluasi. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Februari-Mei 2024. Lokasi projek berada di Dusun Pawirodirjan, Gondomanan,Yogyakarta. Hasil kegiatan Abdimas ini yaitu masyarakat  menjadi  memiliki pengetahuan mengenai bahaya minyak jelantah bagi lingkungan dan kesehatan serta dapat memanfaatkan limbah menjadi barang yang bernilai ekonomis. Menjadi peluang usaha bagi ibu-ibu PKK untuk menambah pendapatan setiap harinya sehingga mampu menciptakan ruang UMKM bagi ibu-ibu PKK Dusun Pawirodirjan. Kata kunci: Lilin aroma terapi, Minyak jelantah, Pengelolaan limbah, Pelatihan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mmenganalisis penerapan Tri Pusat Pendidikan dalam mengembangkan karakter siswa di kelas. Metode yang digunakan memanfaatkan pendekatan studi kasus dengan menggunakan metode diskriptif kualitatif. Proses pengumpulan data dilaksanakan melalui serangkaian teknik, antara lain wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi, yang kemudian dianalisis melalui proses reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Keabsahan data dijamin melalui verifikasi dengan menerapkan triangulasi sumber, teknik, dan waktu. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa lingkungan keluarga, sekolah, dan masyarakat memiliki peran krusial. Lingkungan keluarga berperan penting dalam membentuk karakter anak melalui metode pembelajaran berbasis contoh konkret. Sekolah juga memberikan kontribusi besar dengan kegiatan formal dan peran guru sebagai pendamping. Lingkungan masyarakat turut membangun peduli sosial, terutama melalui gotong royong. Keseluruhan, pengembangan karakter anak dipengaruhi oleh interaksi kompleks antara ketiga lingkungan tersebut, dengan harapan terbentuk generasi cerdas secara akademis dan berkarakter kuat.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the influence of the realistic mathematic education approach model on students' mathematical problem-solving abilities and define the impact of the realistic mathematic education approach on students' learning independence. The sample used in this research was the VA and VB classes of Jarakan State Elementary School, with 35 students in each class. This type of research is quasi-experimental research. The instruments used in this research were test questions on students' mathematical problem-solving abilities and learning independence questionnaires. The research test carried out by the researcher used a significance level of 5% so that if the significance value is less than 0.05, it can be concluded that the realistic mathematic education approach positively affects students' mathematical problem-solving abilities. The learning independence test can be seen by comparing the total score, mean value, and percentage of the level of student response contained in the descriptive statistical analysis. If the score, mean, and percentage of student response level percentage of the experimental class are higher than the control class, it can be concluded that the realistic mathematic education approach has a positive influence on student learning independence.
