Abstract

This community service activity aims to assist in waste processing that can have economic value for the community. This activity is in collaboration with Karang Taruna Jagaita Village and community representatives from June 2 to July 28, 2023. The activity began with socialization regarding the importance of waste management, knowing the potential of waste that can have economic value, knowing the negative effects of waste, sorting and separating waste into categories that can be recycled and those that cannot be recycled. Furthermore, waste processing is carried out which is ready to be used for BSF maggot breeding. The results of the mentoring activity are that the community understands how to process organic waste and maggot breeding and also obtains economic benefits.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to increase awareness of SD Inpres students at the Unhas Makassar Campus on the dangers of bullying and provide education in preventing it. This activity was carried out on May 22, 2024, involving 60 students and 10 teachers. The activity was carried out in three stages, namely the preparation, implementation, and evaluation stages. In the preparation stage, educational materials, including simulation videos, were prepared with legal speakers who emphasized the legal aspects of bullying. The implementation stage included interactive discussions and questions and answers, as well as simulations to help students understand various forms of bullying. The results of the community service activity showed that the socialization had created a safer atmosphere in schools and fostered students' sense of social responsibility. It is recommended that schools continue this effort with the integration of anti-bullying into the curriculum and support from external parties, such as parents, to strengthen positive values ??at home. With the collaboration of all parties, this socialization is expected to be the basis for the formation of a safe and intimidation-free school culture.

Abstract

The purpose of this community service activity is to provide understanding and knowledge to MSME Mama-mama Papua, Malasom Village in preparing financial reports based on SAK EMKM so that they understand and are able to implement proper financial reporting. This assistance was carried out on September 12, 2024 through counseling and training activities. The results of this community service activity are an increase in the understanding and skills of participants in making financial reports based on SAK EMKM. By looking at the results of the pre-test and post-test produced with a level of 47% to 76%. This is an ongoing evaluation carried out by the community service team so that the understanding of MSME Mama-mama Papua continues to increase continuously.

Abstract

The purpose of community service activities is to provide an understanding of the process of preparing financial reports according to the standards applicable to UMKM Klasika Photography. Mentoring activities were carried out on August 13-16, 2024. Activities were carried out in the form of counseling and training in preparing financial reports. The results of mentoring activities are in the form of an understanding of preparing financial reports that have met the standards. From these activities, it is hoped that it can increase knowledge and learning for UMKM actors as well as accuracy in decision making

Abstract

The purpose of this mentoring activity is to introduce the role-playing method in developing language skills in early childhood which is useful as their vocabulary to be able to communicate with others. The mentoring implementation time is July 10, 2024. This service is carried out with a counseling and training approach. The results of community service activities, that the aspects that can be produced from applying the role-playing method in developing language skills are (1) children are able to string together words from a sound (phoneme), (2) children are able to recognize new vocabulary (morphology), (3) children are able to arrange words into a sentence (syntax), (4) children are able to use sentences according to purpose (semantics). In order for children's language skills to continue to develop, teachers and parents must often train children's language skills with various methods, one of which is the role-playing method so that children get more vocabulary to communicate

Abstract

This community service activity aims to improve the understanding and abilities of new students of the Islamic Education Management study program so that they can gain experience, understanding and abilities regarding writing scientific papers which can later be useful for students. The methods used include lecture, discussion and simulation methods. This Community Service Activity was carried out on August 30, 2024 in the Theater room (IsDB FSH) UIN Walisongo Semarang. Abstract

This community service activity aims to raise awareness about the importance of recycling and waste management, while teaching valuable skills in recycling plastic packaging into environmentally friendly polybags. This activity was carried out on July 2 - August 2, 2024 in Bawang Village, Punduh Pidada District, Pesawaran Regency. This community service activity was carried out through socialization, counseling and recycling processing of cooking oil packaging waste as a planting medium for herbal medicine. The results of community service activities have shown success in increasing community participation, promoting sustainable resource utilization, and reducing the amount of plastic waste in the environment

Abstract

This community service activity aims to provide understanding and training for the managers of Bima Farma Pharmacy on Jl. Depati Payung Negara, RT.3/RW.3, Betungan, Selebar District, Bengkulu City in making financial reports. This community service activity was carried out on October 9, 2024 at 14.00 WIB. This activity was attended by the owners and employees of Bima Farma Pharmacy. The activity was carried out in the form of counseling and training in preparing financial reports. The results of community service activities can increase knowledge and skills in business management through simple and easy-to-implement bookkeeping/accounting.

Abstract

The purpose of this community service activity is to provide guidance and increase visits to the elderly in Posyandu by implementing the Santun Lansia program. The elderly are expected to be able to improve their activeness in visiting the elderly Posyandu. The method of implementing assistance is the Community Based Research (CBR) method. The service took place from July 1 to August 30, 2024 at the UPTD Kedungsari Health Center, Mojokerto City, involving 103 elderly people. The results of community service are that the implementation of the Santun Elderly program can increase visits to the Elderly Posyandu at the UPTD Kedungsari Health Center, Mojokerto City. Elderly care needs to involve components to support the success of care such as family and health cadres, as well as health workers in health services. Health workers must be able to choose what methods and media to use when carrying out nursing interventions

Abstract

This community service activity aims to improve the understanding and skills of accounting teachers in implementing the latest PSAK 202 standards. This activity was carried out on June 27, 2024 at the secretariat of the West Sumatra Accounting MGMP. The main focus of this activity is on inventory valuation methods, including FIFO, LIFO, and Average Cost, and their impact on financial statements. This activity was carried out in two sessions, namely the presentation session and interactive discussion. This activity involved collaboration between the West Sumatra Accounting MGMP and the community service team from the Padang State Polytechnic. The results of the service showed a significant increase in the conceptual understanding of teachers, as reflected in their responses in the questionnaire evaluation. This mentoring successfully facilitated increased knowledge and adaptation of teaching practices in accordance with applicable financial accounting standards
