Abstract

This study aims to determine the results of the print brochure by students during the Competency Test at SMK Graϔika Mardi Yuana Bogor. The offset print system is very dominating for the amount of printed with moderate to small quantity, in the printing process requires skills and techniques in the printing process. Many problems that often arise from paper material and printing techniques, efforts to control the print problem of Misegister on the Heidelberg GTO 2 color of the paper are derived from non -elbow paper, the anleg adjustment is not precise and from the engine factor because the engine is not maintained, the machine is old and due to the number of molds a little so that the operator ignores the data printing process procedure taken from the Pareto analysis tool in the printing process. From the factors causing problems in the printing process of 4 colors in the Heidelberg GTO 2 color offset, it is due to the incorrect plate installation problem so that the print register is difϔicult to achieve and often changes. How to control the print in the brochure printing process by changing the clamping clamping clamp and mastered printing theory and following print operational standards.

Abstract

Sungsang Village is located in the Muara Sungai Musi, South Sumatra, and has only been designated as a tourist village in 2020. For this reason, building the image of a city/village is one of the most important efforts to introduce a new tourism village. One of the efforts of the government is to hold the Breech Fisherman Ornamental Boat Festival in 2020, in addition to improving the image, this event is also held to move the economic wheels of the community in the west wind season. Unfortunately, This event does not have a consistent and professional Ship Visual Design. Futhermore, the authors designed the Visual Festival of Breech Fisherman Ornamental Boats using a descriptive and quantitative approach, namely by directly interviewing related parties. As a result, this ϔinal project uses the Graphic Standard Manual (GSM) which will be applied to supporting media properly and consistently, in accordance with the vision and mission of the Breech Fisherman Ornamental Boat Festival event. The concept created is “Semarak Ombak” based on the concept of mind mapping.

Abstract

The music video of Kamu & Kenangan was created by famous musician Melly Goeslaw and performed by young actress Maudy Ayunda. The lyrics of this song tell about regret, loneliness, and a deep sense of loss due to being abandoned by someone you love. This song became the original song for the film Habibie & Ainun 3, Pak Habibie tells the story of young Ainun's struggle in studying for his children and grandchildren. Maudy Ayunda in the music video represents all the emotions Mr. Habibie felt for the loss of Mrs. Ainun. In this study, there is an urgency for the object under study in the form of representations and meanings in the music video. The purpose of this study is to explain implicit and explicit emotions. That way, understanding will come about how songs can convey feelings to those who hear and see the expressions given. This study also provides a lesson on positive values such as divinity, sincerity, true love, and can inspire us to continue to strive to be human beings who are devoted to the Owner of Love. The theory used is the theory of semiotics from Ferdinand de Saussure, signifiers in the video are in visual language, cinematic, expression, movement, facial expressions, and song lyrics. While the signified lies in the meaning of the lyrics and the values contained.

Abstract

Naruto is a manga series by Masashi Kishimoto which was adapted into an anime series. The Naruto manga tells the story of the life of the main character, Naruto Uzumaki, a hyperactive, cheerful, and ambitious ninja who wants to fulfill his desire to get the title of Hokage, the leader and strongest ninja in his village. Since childhood he was abandoned by his parents, so he never felt how the love of parents for their children. With the support of his friends and teachers, Naruto grows into a cheerful, optimistic and brave young man. Naruto is not only entertaining but also contains strong moral values about willpower, unyielding spirit, friendship, and mutual respect. In an era where many people experience pressure and difficulties, Naruto provides inspiration and valuable lessons on how to be strong and persistent in achieving dreams. This study aims to determine the meaning of markers and markers in scenes, dialogues and settings in the Naruto anime using descriptive methods and qualitative research types. Based on Ferdinand De Saussure’s semiotic theory analysis, there are representations of human values, moral values and meanings that can be drawn through scenes, dialogues and settings in Naruto. The moral values contained in this Naruto anime are (1) the importance of caring for others (2) understanding the suffering of fellow humans (3) Never give up and be consistent. This research was conducted so that the audience can better understand the values contained in the entertainment media they watch.

Abstract

Girl From Nowhere is a Thai series from Netflix under GMM Studios. This series has mystery, horror, and thriller genres. Released in 2018. The first episode aired on August 8, 2018. It tells the story of a girl named Nanno whose origins are unknown. The plot of this series revolves around the role of the main character, namely Nanno, a mysterious girl who transfers to various private schools in Thailand. Her role is to reveal the lies, secrets, and hypocrisy of the whole school. Research objective Knowing that every episode of Girl From Nowhere is a true story. The tragedies in this television series are based on case reports in Thailand. That way, these stories are turned into a victory for the girl who is the victim in these cases. By using the Qualitative Approach method. In the film Girl From Nowhere, if it is associated with the theory of semiotics by Ferdinand D Saussure, the signifier and signified that appear are, as a marker of physical form, namely the film Girl From Nowhere and the sign is that the plot of this series revolves around the role of the main character, namely Nanno, a mysterious girl who transfers to various private schools in Thailand with horror, fantasy and mystery genres. Conclusion The stories offered in the Girl from Nowhere series are not the result of mere imagination. The series is inspired by various tragedies that actually happened in Thailand. However, this series was created as a 'happy ending' version for the victims of these tragedies. The victim who is actually suffering is positioned as the winner, while the perpetrator is made to feel the pain experienced by the victim. Abstract

Kertas karton telah menjadi pilihan yang menarik dalam desain struktur kemasan produk makanan sebagai oleh-oleh untuk meningkatkan promosi. Kajian literatur ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis konsep, keuntungan, tantangan, praktik terbaik, dan dampak dari desain kemasan berbahan dasar kertas karton terhadap promosi produk makanan. Melalui kajian literatur, ditemukan bahwa penggunaan kertas karton sebagai bahan kemasan memberikan keberlanjutan dan fleksibilitas desain yang tinggi, meskipun ada tantangan terkait perlindungan produk. Praktik terbaik meliputi penggunaan cetakan dan warna menarik, informasi yang jelas, serta inovasi fungsional. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa desain struktur kemasan berbahan dasar kertas karton memiliki dampak positif dalam meningkatkan promosi dan menaikkan penjualan produk makanan sebagai oleh-oleh. Penelitian ini memberikan wawasan penting bagi industri makanan dalam memahami penggunaan kertas karton sebagai bahan kemasan yang efektif dalam meningkatkan promosi produk makanan sebagai oleh-oleh di destinasi wisata.

Abstract

The comic strip Si Apiao, which was narrated by comic artist Goei Kwat Siong and published in the weekly magazine Star weekly in the 1950s, is a unique comic strip because it rarely uses text narration in telling stories, but is more prominent in its visual narration. The technical assessment of the visual narrative used by the comic artist can be broken down into three categories of approaches, namely the use of the juxtaposition between panels used, the visual grammar of the narrative that is applied and the philosophy of humor that is narrated. It turns out that the Si Apiao comic strip uses a juxtaposition between panel to panel using the category of action to action and the grammar used is the categories of establisher, initial, prolongation, peak and release stages. The humorous philosophy used uses the theory of superiority (Disparagement theory) and the theory of incongruity. ABSTRAK Komik strip Si Apiao yang diceritakan oleh komikus Goei Kwat Siong dan dimuat di majalah mingguan Star weekly pada era tahun ’50, merupakan komik strip yang unik karena jarang menggunakan narasi teks dalam bercerita, tetapi lebih menonjol pada narasi visualnya. Pengkajian teknis narasi visual yang dipakai oleh komikus tersebut dapat diuraikan menjadi tiga katagori pendekatan yaitu penggunaan penjajaran antar panel yang digunakan, gramatika visual narasi yang diterapkan serta filosofi humor yang dinarasikan. Ternyata komik strip Si Apiao memakai penjajaran antar panel ke panel menggunakan kategori aksi ke aksi dan grammatika yang dipakai adalah katagori tahapan establisher, Initial, prolongation, peak dan realese. Filosofi humor yang dipakai menggunakan teori superioritas (Disparagement theory) dan teori ketidaksesuaian In-congruity theory.

Abstract

Abstrak. Cyberbullying, atau perundungan daring, telah menjadi isu yang semakin mendesak dalam era digital saat ini. Kampanye sosial dapat menjadi alat yang efektif untuk meningkatkan kesadaran tentang Cyberbullying dan mencegah dampak negatifnya terhadap individu dan masyarakat. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan strategi kampanye sosial yang efektif dalam melawan Cyberbullying. Penelitian ini mengadopsi pendekatan kualitatif dengan melakukan tinjauan literatur tentang Cyberbullying dan kampanye sosial yang terkait. Hasil tinjauan literatur dengan penerapan MDLC (Multimedia Development Life Cycle) dalam merancang kampanye sosial yang efektif. Penulis membuat Animasi 2 Dimensi dengan format motion grafik yang bertujuan untuk mengedukasi mengenai Cyberbullying melalui media sosial dan untuk mengidentifikasi elemen-elemen yang efektif dalam merancang pesan visual yang kuat. Melalui kampanye ini, upaya dilakukan untuk mengajak masyarakat secara luas untuk bersatu dan mengambil tindakan positif dalam melawan Cyberbullying. Abstrak.Telkomsel Award 2023 merupakan program penghargaan bagi pelaku industri musik, film maupun game yang semakin berkembang. Setelah pemerintah menyatakan Covid 19 bukan pademi maka mendorong masyarakat maupun insan industri melakukan kreatifitas sesuai rencananya. Industri game berkembang sangat pesat dimana tersedia banyak varian pilihan platform game dan tersedia ajang kompetisi. Industri perfiliman turut berkembang dengan pesat dimana masyarakat banyak melakukan eksplorasi dengan membuat video kesehariaan dan di upload ke media social. Untuk bisa melaksanakan kegiatan seperti bermain games maupun video dari berbagai platform membutuhkan jaringan internet yang dapat mengakses berbagai macam informasi maupun hiburan. Jaringan internet yang stabil dan berkualitas diharapkan memberi pelayanan pelanggan. Paket internet yang di tawarkan bervariasi sesuai kebutuhan pelanggan. Promosi paket internet yang disiarkan secara langsung melalui televisi dapat membawa dampak peningkatan Penjualan dan keuntungan dikarenakan saat tersebut memiliki penonton yang tinggi. Abstract

Movie posters are often used as promotional media to communicate the content or conflict of the story contained in a movie. Various visual elements contained in the poster contain signs. These signs will later have a meaning that will try to convey to the audience. The science that studies signs is semiotics. Semiotics studies the theory of signs in the context of scenarios, images, texts or scenes in movies that can be interpreted. This research will discuss the analysis of the movie poster "Saya Nikahkan" using Roland Barthes' semiotic approach. The result of this research is known that the design of the movie poster "Saya Nikahkan" is full of messages that try to reveal the plot and the main story of the movie which will be discussed in this paper. ABSTRAK Poster film sering digunakan sebagai media promosi untuk mengkomunikasikan isi atau konflik cerita yang terkandung dalam suatu film. Berbagai elemen visual yang terkandung pada poster mengandung tanda. Tanda-tanda inilah yang nantinya akan memiliki makna yang akan coba disampaikan pada audiens. Ilmu yang mempelajari tentang tanda adalah semiotika. Dalam ilmu semiotika mempelajari teori tentang tanda dalam suatu konteks skenario, gambar, teks ataupun adegan dalam film yang dapat dimaknai. Dalam penelitian ini akan membahas analisis poster film “Saya Nikahkan” menggunakan pendekatan semiotika Roland Barthes. Hasil dari penelitian ini diketahui bahwa desain poster film “Saya Nikahkan” sarat akan pesan yang berusaha mengungkapkan alur dan pokok cerita film tersebut yang akan didiskusikan dalam tulisan ini.
