Abstract

The holding of the Asian Games multi sporting event is an Asian sports party which is held every 4 years and is participated by countries that are registered with the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA). This study aims to determine whether the advertising based on AIDA concept influence the purchase decision in purchasing Asian Games 2018’s tickets in Palembang. The data used in this study are primary data by distributing questionnaire to 100 respondents who was watching Asian Games 2018 in Palembang. The analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis that was previously tested for validity and reliability. The result obtained are attention, interest, desire and action have a positive and significant effect on purchase decision in purchasing Asian Games 2018’s tickets in Palembang. This research is expected to be a reference to choose which variable are better used in future studies. For event organizer to be able to pay attention more about advertising in order to do event more successfully.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of event service quality, event price and event venue on event satisfaction of event Asian Games 2018 in Palembang. The data used in this study are primary data by distributing questionnaire to 100 respondents who was watching Asian Games 2018 in Palembang. The analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis. Based on the results of this studies using SPSS versi 23 demonstrated that: (1) Event service quality has a positive and significant effect on event satisfaction at Asian Games 2018 in Palembang. 2) Event price don’t has a positive and not significant effect on event satisfaction at events Asian Games 2018 in Palembang (3) Event service venue has a positive and  significant effect on event satisfaction at events Asian Games 2018 in Palembang. Percentage value of determination coefficient of 58,3%. This means that 58,3% of the effect of event satisfaction can be explained from the three independent variables. While remaining 41,7% is explained by other variables not examined in this study.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Transformational Leadership Style and Work Discipline on Employee Performance of PT. Telekomunikasi Indonesia, South Sumatra Region (Witel Sumsel) Tbk. The population in the study amounted to 103 employees with Non Probability Sampling. The analysis technique used by researchers was multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the analysis showed that there was an implication of a significant influence between transformational leadership style variables and work discipline that the attention of a manager made employees work enthusiasm used the test. In order to improve employee performance, it is recommended that managers and management continue to train employees to be more productive in the company to face challenges and focus on solving company problems. For future researchers, it is hoped that further researchers will develop unfinished variables such as motivation and corporate culture.

Abstract

The purposes of the study are to explore the work stress and job performance of bank’s employees, and to identify factors that influence work stress that have an impact on bank’s employees. The employees of the back office section at Head Office, Bank of Bengkulu are chosen as the respondents and participants for the questionnaire and interview surveys. An electronic questionnaire is distributed to the respondents and an interview protocol is used to interview participants. The surveys’ results reveal that the perceptions of the employees on the work stress of the  intrinsic factors at work have less impact, the relationship at work and the  organizational climate are very conducive, and the organizational role is positive. In the meantime, the job performance has a high rating. Four factors that influence the work stress are the same as the dimensions on the stress concept with more focus on certain items. The relationship at work strengthens on the intensive supports from coworkers and the active interactions with co-workers. The organizational climate includes the task demands in a timely manner, the independent in determining work completion procedures, the recognition or appreciation, and support for creativity. The intrinsic factors at work consist of the excessive workloads, the monotonous work, and the noise level. The organisational roles emphasise on the conflicting tasks with family and excessive roles (doing different tasks). One new factor emerged is the career growth consisting of the opportunity of self-development and the chance for promotion. The results imply that the work stress and the job performance supported the concept of both variables and the concept of work stress existed in the workplace. The employees’ welfares, the fair performance appraisal, and employee engagement should be promoted in order to reduce the work stress and to increase the job performance.

Abstract

This study aims to find empirical evidence by analyzing the Community Satisfaction Index (IKM) on the service quality of the Jakabaring Sport City (JSC) in organizing sports events in Palembang City. This research is a quantitative descriptive research type with analysis techniques using the Community Satisfaction Index (IKM) which is based on KEPMENPAN Number: KEP / 25 / M.PAN / 2/2004. Respondents in this study were 152 people who held sports events in the Jakabaring Sport City environment. The distribution of questionnaires in this study was carried out by two methods, namely using google form media and distributing directly to the research sample based on data from sports event organizers at the JSC in 2019. The results of the calculation of the Community Satisfaction Index (IKM) in Jakabaring Sport City obtained a value of 71,472 which are in the interval 62.51 ? 81.25 so that the quality of their performance is in the "B" category. This shows that the performance of the Jakabaring Sport City in 2019 as a whole is in a good category. The conclusion in this study is that the service dimension with indicators based on the Community Satisfaction Index has three dimensions with good service performance, namely tangibles, empathy, and reliability. In the responsiveness dimension, one indicator with poor service performance is the clarity of service personnel. Meanwhile, in the assurance dimension, there are indicators with excellent service performance, namely politeness and friendliness of officers and indicators with poor performance, namely justice in getting service.

Abstract

This study aims to describe and reveal the effect of financial literacy on the personal financial management of college students in the Province of Bengkulu. The population in this study was all college students in the Province of Bengkulu, with 339 as respondents. The sampling technique used in this research is quota sampling. The data used in the study are primary data obtained through online questionnaires. This research shows that college students in the Province of Bengkulu tend to have low financial literacy levels. While this study also found that college students' personal financial management in Bengkulu Province could be said to be good. The result reveals that financial literacy affects personal finance management among college students in the Province of Bengkulu.

Abstract

The objectives of this study were: (1) To analyze the implementation of control of productive slaughtering of cattle and female buffalo in Bengkulu Province based on George Edward III's policy implementation model, namely communication, resources, disposition of bureaucratic structures. (2) To analyze the implementation constraints of slaughtering productive female cattle and buffalo in Bengkulu Province. This research is a qualitative research with a descriptive design. Determination of informants in this study using the purpusive method, namely the maker and executor of policies to control the slaughter of productive female cattle and buffalo in Bengkulu Province as many as 9 people. The data collection used interviews and observations, while the descriptive qualitative data analysis was based on the Miles and Huberman stages. The results showed that the implementation of the control of productive female cattle and buffalo slaughter in Bengkulu Province from the aspects of (1) communication, that the delivery of information through socialization and distribution of brochures during the coaching activities of livestock groups. The submission of this information is only done once per year due to budget constraints. In terms of clarity, it is very clear from the district level to all parties involved in this policy, starting from the farmer level, business actors, and the regions involved. (2) Resources enough official personnel are available, but the veterinary paramedics are still lacking. Budget support for 2020 has experienced budget recofusing, so that for 2020 there will be no more activities. The local government is very supportive of the implementation of the control of productive female cattle slaughter. Then the supporting facilities are generally available, but for the facilities in the RPH starting from the building and other equipment it is necessary to make improvements and add to the facilities. (3) Disposition, that the local government and the community can accept it quite well. Related to incentives for policy implementers only for officers reporting daily deductions. (4) The bureaucratic structure, that the organizational structure is not yet supportive because the SOP prohibiting the slaughter of productive females is only owned by Mukomuko District, while all districts / cities do not yet exist. When viewed from the perspective of work effectiveness, managing this program is optimal, because it involves almost all sectors implementing this policy

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of planning and procurement of goods and services on the absorption of the Regional Budget. The data used in this study are primary data obtained from the results of distributing questionnaires in Bangka Belitung and Lampung provinces. Number of samples is 192 respondents from 66 the Local Government Organizations of Bangka Belitung and Lampung Provinces. The data analysis method used is descriptive analysis and regression analysis. The results obtained are: (1) Budget planning has a positive and significant effect on budget absorption in Lampung Province and Bangka Belitung Province. This result means that the more planned the activity budget in each SKPD / OPD, the higher the absorption of the budget; and (2) E-Procurement has a positive and significant effect on budget absorption in Lampung Province and Bangka Belitung Province. This result means that the better the implementation of e-procurement (procurement of goods and services) in each SKPD / OPD, the higher the budget absorption.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to knew government internal control system implementation in Dr. M. Yunus general hospital Bengkulu. This research is a descriptive research. The population of this study is 42 people. The sample of this study was taken by census method. Data analysis in this research use descriptive statistic method. The results showed that the environment control dimension in government internal control system is accordance with government regulation number 60 year 2008, risk assessment and control activities dimensions are not fully accordance with government regulation number 60 year 2008, communication and information dimensions in accordance with government regulation number 60 Year 2008, and the internal control monitoring dimensions is accordance with government regulation number 60 year 2008. Suggestion for Dr. M. Yunus general hospital Bengkulu is to improve the realization of the role of effective internal government oversight apparatus, improve the risk assessment not maximal, especially on risk assessment in the workplace in accordance with government regulation number 60 year 2008. Improving and able to establish and review on performance indicators and measures in accordance with government regulation number 60 Year 2008, maintaining and improving communication and information that has been in accordance with government regulation number 60 year 2008 by utilizing various existing communication means and improving monitoring that has not been maximally monitored by conducting continuous monitoring in accordance with government regulation number 60 year 2008.

Abstract

This purpose of this study are to determine the implementation of the electronic performance system (e- performance) of the Bengkulu Provincial Government, and also to find out what are the supporting and hindering factors. This research was classified as a descriptive research that aims to describe the events in an objective way. The research instruments were questionnaires and conducting interviews with key informants. Furthermore, data from the e- performance application and data from other competent sources are also used. The results of the study reveals the facts that: (1) the implementation of the e-kinerja of the Bengkulu Provincial Government has not been in line with the objectives of e- kinerja itself and (2) the supporting factors for the implementation of e-kinerja include: socialization has been carried out on e-kinerja, there are the employees who already have the ability to develop applications, the Bengkulu Provincial government's e-kinerja has received a security certificate from the BSrE-BSSN; and the inhibiting factors are the lack of competent employees in the field of information technology, there is also, moreover, no specific regulation including Standard Operating Procedure on e-kinerja, there is no special implementation team and supervisor for the implementation. e-kinerja, and to add on, the evaluation of the implementation of e-kinerja has not been carried out regularly.
