The independent variable comprises product diversification and company size, while the dependent variable is company profitability. Findings: According to the data processing results using the multiple linear regression method, company profitability was positively influenced by product diversification and company size. Researchers explore books and journal data sources relevant to the research topic through the library and research method.Findings:The research results show that for Cak Nur, reform must begin with two actions, one closely related to the other, namely breaking away from traditional values and seeking values oriented towards the future.Implication:In this connection, he put forward the idea of secularization as a liberation process. According to Cak Nur, this secularization process is essential, especially for the condition of Muslims who are no longer able to distinguish which values they think are Islamic, which are transcendent, and which are temporal; secularization is intended for worldly values that should be worldly and free Muslims from the tendency to make them worldly.

This study aims to understand the significant role of KHI in providing justice for couples experiencing marital conflict.Methodology:Using library methods, data were collected from various literature sources and religious court decisions related to talak, khulu’, and fasakh. This study uses a library method, a systematic approach to reviewing and analyzing data from various literatures. This library research type studies theory, concepts, and regulations relevant to divorce cases through talak, khulu', and fasakh decisions.Findings:The results show that KHI functions not only as a formal rule but also as an instrument of protection for women and children and supports post-divorce welfare. These findings confirm that KHI has important flexibility relevant to the country's social conditions and can be used as a model for ethically and contextually responsive Islamic family law.Implication:This research provides an essential contribution to the development of science, both theoretically and practically. Theoretically, this research strengthens the understanding of the adaptation of Islamic law in the modern context, mainly how the KHI as a derivative of Islamic law can be applied effectively in a pluralistic society. Practically, this research enriches the study of Islamic family law in Indonesia by providing empirical data showing that the mechanisms of talak, khulu', and fasakh can be implemented formally and ethically.

Abstract

Purpose:This research aims to analyze Muslims' main goals in the Treaty of Hudaibiyah and its impact on the relationship between Muslims and the Quraysh. The study focuses on the establishment of four points of the agreement, including a ceasefire, freedom of affiliation, rules for the return of individuals, and permission for pilgrimage the following year. The results of these negotiations caused Muslims to be disappointed.Methodology:This research uses a historical research method that consists of four stages: heuristics (gathering sources), criticism (selecting data), interpretation (interpreting data), and historiography (writing history).Findings:The research findings concluded that the Treaty of Hudaibiyah significantly impacted the spread of Islamic teachings in the Arabian Peninsula. With the agreement on a ceasefire, Muslims were able to spread the teachings of Islam freely. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) responded to the agreement by sending letters to the kings in Arabia and surrounding areas.Implication:The Treaty of Hudaybiyyah was a major factor in the liberation of the city of Mecca. It happened when the Banu Bakr, who was part of the treaty with the Quraysh, attacked Khuza’ah, who was part of the Islamic group. With the treaty broken and invalidated, the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) then ordered 10,000 Muslim troops to head to Mecca with the aim of freeing Mecca from the shackles of disbelief and the ignorant behavior of the Quraysh people.

Abstract

Purpose:Social participation is a cornerstone of sustainable rural development, particularly in fragile states like Afghanistan. This study investigates the challenges and opportunities of fostering social participation in rural Afghan communities by analyzing successful international models and proposing practical strategies tailored to the local context. Methodology:Drawing from global experiences in countries such as India, Bangladesh, and South Korea, the research highlights key factors such as policy frameworks, decentralized governance, inclusion of marginalized groups, and capacity building. The study employs a qualitative methodology, integrating secondary data analysis and expert consultations to identify actionable recommendations.Findings:Findings reveal that while Afghanistan’s traditional governance structures, like shuras and jirgas, provide a foundation for participation, significant barriers such as gender inequality, limited decentralization, and inadequate resources persist.Implication:The proposed strategies emphasize integrating traditional and modern participatory approaches, leveraging digital tools, and enhancing collaboration between government institutions and NGOs. This research contributes to the broader discourse on participatory rural development, offering insights into building resilient, inclusive communities in fragile contexts.
