Abstract

Purpose:This study aims to analyze the factors contributing to the Indonesian public's low preference for educational content on YouTube, including audience preferences and psychosocial factors influencing media consumption patterns. Additionally, the study examines the potential outcomes of increased exposure to educational content, particularly in terms of knowledge improvement, behavioral changes, and its broader contribution to human capital development in Indonesia.Methodology:This research employs a qualitative descriptive approach and a case study method to examine India’s legal framework in combating illegal wildlife trafficking.Findings:This study finds that the role of educational content on YouTube is crucial in enhancing public literacy in Indonesia. The analysis shows that while educational content has the potential to improve knowledge and awareness significantly, many people still prefer entertainment-based videos over informative ones. However, challenges such as low digital literacy, lack of interest, and algorithm-driven content preferences hinder its reach. The findings emphasize the urgent need for content creators to innovate in delivering educational material while policymakers and institutions should support initiatives that promote informative content on digital platforms.Implication:The implications of this study extend to both practical and academic domains. Practically, the findings serve as a valuable reference for content creators in designing engaging and educational videos that align with audience preferences, thereby enhancing the effectiveness and reach of educational content on YouTube. Academically, this research contributes to the body of knowledge in communication studies, sociology, arts, and other relevant disciplines by providing empirical insights into audience behavior and the role of digital media in public education.

Abstract

Purpose:Corruption is a social problem that has a significant impact on various aspects of life, including social counseling services. Abuse of power practices, such as embezzlement, nepotism, and low levels of transparency, result in reduced access and quality of services for individuals in need of psychosocial assistance. This study aims to examine how corruption can hinder the effectiveness of social counseling services, reduce the professionalism of counselors, and erode public trust in social institutions.Methodology:Using a literature study method and a qualitative approach, this study analyzes the impact of corruption on the success of counseling programs and strategies that can be implemented to increase transparency and accountability in this sector.Findings:The results of the study indicate that reform of the supervisory system, strict law enforcement, and increased community participation are key steps to minimize the impact of corruption on social counseling services.Implication:Corruption in social counseling services has a very broad impact on community welfare, both in terms of accessibility, quality of service, and public trust in social institutions. Public distrust of social institutions due to corruption also reduces their participation in assistance programs, thus widening social inequality.

Purpose:Education plays a crucial role in the development of a country, and transparent and accountable management of education finance is a major factor in improving the quality and equity of education. This study aims to analyze the application of good governance principles in the management of education finance and identify the challenges faced and strategies to overcome them.Methodology:The method used is a literature study with a descriptive qualitative approach, which examines various sources, including scientific journals, books, and related regulations.Findings:The results of the study indicate that although the principles of good governance, such as transparency, accountability, participation, effectiveness, and fairness, have begun to be applied in the management of education finance, their implementation still faces various obstacles. The main challenges include limited access to financial information for stakeholders, less than optimal effectiveness of financial reporting, and low community involvement in supervision. In addition, the allocation of the education budget still does not fully pay attention to aspects of equity and fairness.Implication:To overcome these problems, this study recommends increasing the capacity of human resources in financial management, strengthening the monitoring and evaluation system, and implementing a more integrated financial management information system. Probability (Simple Random) and non-probability (Purposive) sampling techniques were adopted.Findings:All ethical factors were observed the study concluded that most youth who engaged in internet fraud were the product of extreme poverty and unemployment rate among the Nigerian youths. It is therefore recommended that collective efforts from the government, public members and nongovernmental organizations must be channeled towards the provision of employment.Implication:Also, youth should purge themselves from negative innovation to positive innovation to promote the national and international image of the country. However, the study shows that the public awareness campaigns by the government are not reaching the target audience of youths most susceptible to internet fraud.
