Abstract

The rapid development of globalization, digitalization, and technological innovation has significantly transformed the landscape of twenty-first-century education. Education is no longer limited to knowledge transmission but increasingly emphasizes the development of essential competencies required to face complex social and technological challenges. This study aims to analyze the urgency of integrating life skills and literacy skills into Islamic Religious Education (IRE) learning in the twenty-first-century learning context. The research employed a qualitative approach using a library research method that examined various scholarly sources related to Islamic education, twenty-first-century skills, and literacy development. The data sources consisted of scientific journal articles, academic books, research reports, and educational policy documents relevant to the research topic. Data analysis was conducted using content analysis techniques through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that the integration of life skills and literacy skills in Islamic Religious Education plays a significant role in enhancing students’ critical thinking, communication, collaboration, and religious literacy competencies. Furthermore, the integration of these competencies helps students understand Islamic teachings in a more contextual, moderate, and relevant manner in response to contemporary societal changes. Therefore, Islamic Religious Education learning should be developed through innovative approaches such as project-based learning, collaborative learning, and the utilization of digital technology as learning media. The integration of life skills and literacy skills is expected to improve the quality of Islamic education while fostering students who are religiously grounded, critically minded, and adaptable to the challenges of globalization and digital transformation.

The aim of this research is to determine the process of internalizing Islamic spiritual intelligence values through the study of the Hadith book Arba'in An-Nawawi. So that students can analyze and evaluate indicators of achievement of both supporting and inhibiting factors in the internalization of spiritual intelligence. Internalization is an effort made by educators to produce students by developing high spiritual intelligence. Spirituality in question includes faith, character (characterization), morals, faith, Islam, ihsan. However, in reality the values that are internalized to obtain spiritual competence have not been able to change the character of mahasantri as a whole. This research was carried out at Ma'had Al-Jami'ah, Raden Fatah State Islamic University, Palembang, which was the object of research and made Mr Mudir, teacher of the Arba'in Hadith book and Mahasantri as the subject of this research. The result of internalizing this is so that it can be integrated into the value of ukhuwwah, such as goodness that is rooted in the mahasantri individual. This research used a descriptive qualitative method conducted at Ma'had Al-Jami'ah, Raden Fatah State Islamic University, Palembang. The data collection techniques are observation, interviews and documentation. In conclusion, fulfilling the spiritual intelligence that has been taught through the study of the Hadith book Arba'in An-Nawawi has a positive impact on many things, one of which is regarding the faith and piety of mahasantri.

Abstract

This study aimed to develop and validate an interactive learning media for Islamic Religious Education (PAI) on the topic of worship practices for senior high school students at SMAN 1 Rantau Bayur. The research employed the Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE instructional design model, consisting of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation stages. Data were collected through interviews, classroom observations, documentation, and expert validation questionnaires. The developed product was evaluated by one material expert and one media expert using a five-point Likert scale. The findings indicated that conventional teaching methods, dominated by lectures and simple demonstrations, limited students’ engagement and understanding of worship practices. The interactive learning media was designed by integrating multimedia elements, including instructional videos, animations, illustrations, narration, and interactive quizzes, to facilitate meaningful and student-centered learning. Expert validation demonstrated that the product achieved a feasibility score of 94% from the material expert and 93% from the media expert, with an overall average of 93.5%, categorized as "very feasible." These results confirm that the developed learning media meets pedagogical, technical, and instructional quality standards. The study concludes that interactive multimedia developed through a systematic instructional design process can enhance the quality of Islamic Religious Education by increasing students’ understanding, learning motivation, and active participation. The developed media is recommended as an innovative instructional resource for improving worship practice learning in senior high schools.

Abstract

Families with children with special needs (ABK) face complex relationships among family members. This often becomes a stressor that impacts parental resilience. Resilience is a form of ability of parents with special needs to overcome difficulties or problems caused by the presence and condition of children with special needs. Strength-Based Counseling is a counseling approach that uses a positive psychology approach and emphasizes the strengths of an individual or group of people.
