Abstract

his study aims to investigate students' responses to the use of animated images in teaching Arabic dialogue and to evaluate the effectiveness of using animated images in developing students' ability to engage in Arabic dialogue. The research method employed by the researcher is the action research method. The data collection methods used in this research include observation, questionnaires, tests, and documents. The research findings indicate that students have a great interest in learning conversation, and they showed enthusiasm and significant engagement during the learning process. Animated images help students to better understand educational materials. They also encourage active participation in small groups, which increases their interaction and discussions about the material. This teamwork fosters the exchange of ideas and learning strategies, making the learning process enjoyable rather than boring. Furthermore, the presence of healthy competition in the animated images motivates students to participate and achieve good results. The use of animated images enhances students' ability to engage in Arabic dialogue, and the education is effective based on the test result, where the calculated T-value is 2.115, which is greater than the table T-value of 2.007 at a degree of freedom (df 51) and a significance level of 0.05. Therefore, the researcher concludes that the application of animated images is an effective and impactful tool in improving students' performance in mastering Arabic dialogue.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to formulate Origami Mufrodat learning materials incorporating the Team Games Tournament (TGT) model to strengthen students' drive for Arabic language acquisition in grade VI at MI Matholi'ul Falah Nambi. This study utilized a Research and Development (R&D) methodology based on the ADDIE framework, which includes analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation phases. The data collection process utilized observation, questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. The evidence suggests that the formulated Origami Mufrodat media is valid, practical, and effective. The effectiveness analysis obtained 87%, labeled as very effective, whereas the feasibility testing through teachers' and students' feedback obtained 86%, labeled as very feasible. The integration of origami-based media with the TGT model successfully created an interactive, enjoyable, and collaborative learning environment that enhanced students’ intrinsic and extrinsic motivation. Therefore, Origami Mufrodat media incorporating the TGT model constitutes a fitting alternative learning approach for Arabic language pedagogy at the Madrasah Ibtidaiyah educational level.

Abstract

This study aims to develop an interactive istima’ learning model based on active learning principles for beginner-level university students of Arabic. Listening skills are fundamental in Arabic language acquisition, yet many first-year students face difficulties due to teacher-centered instruction, limited interaction, and minimal exposure to authentic listening activities. This research employed a research and development design with a qualitative approach. The subjects were first-year students of the Arabic Language Education program at Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Tarbiyah (STIT) Al-Hilal Sigli. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, and analyzed descriptively to identify learning needs, model characteristics, and implementation outcomes. The findings indicate that the proposed model emphasizes student engagement, collaborative activities, contextual listening materials, and continuous feedback, which significantly enhance students’ motivation and listening comprehension. The interactive active learning-based istima’ model encourages learners to actively process auditory input, respond critically, and participate meaningfully in classroom interaction. The study concludes that this model is effective in improving beginner students’ listening skills and can serve as an alternative instructional framework for Arabic listening courses at the university level.
