Abstract

Collaboration is an activity that is familiar to human beings. Cooperation is a demand as an implication of the limitations in human beings, both limited property, abilities, physical, energy, and other human potential. With these limitations, humans are required to depend on other people to complete and help these limitations.Commercial activities in the Islamic conception of profit-oriented is free from usury. The concept of profit sharing in Islamic economics is applied in the industrial sector which is halal and avoids forbidden practices and prohibited by Islam. The advantage of this concept will give justice to both the owner and the employee. Thus the spirit of business will increase. In this case, it will discuss the concept of profit sharing in the industrial sector which uses mudharabah and musyarakah contracts.

Abstract

This research is motivated by a preliminary study by the author that in the city of Bandung there is a good quality school but free of charge, namely SD Juara, this school is free because it is funded by zakat, infak, sedekah, and wakaf (ZISWAF). SD Juara has adequate educational facilities and attracts the interest of the community to send their children to the place even though they have to pay. In this study the authors used a descriptive analysis method, through the study of documentation, observation and interviews. The study focused on the availability of educational facilities in SD Juara, the facility procurement program, and the ZISWAF RZ Program in the provision of educational facilities. The conclusions of this study are: 1) educational facilities in SD Juara have met the minimum standards set by the government; 2) the education facility procurement program at SD Juara was initially one hundred percent through ZISWAF funds and starting in the 2019 the procurement facilities of SD Juara was charged to students; and 3) The ZISWAF RZ program in the provision of educational facilities for SD Juara was initially initiated and implemented by Rumah Zakat because SD Juara is part of the four flagship programs of Rumah Zakat, namely champion smile, stand smile, healthy smile, and sustainable smile. Next, the ZISWAF program is only intended for 20% of students from the poor, while the provision of other facilities starting in the 2019 is charged to students, from BOS funds and from non-binding donors.

Abstract

The background of this research is the competition for quality and quantity among institution of higher education which has been very competitive in recent decades, encouraging universities to remain of high quality, both in the individuals’ sight within internal environment and by external people outside. The purpose of this study is to describe the Planning, Implementation, Evaluation, Obstacles and Solutions for solving academic quality service problems in improving the competitiveness of graduates at STAI in West Java. The main theory in this study is based on six value systems, management and TQM. This study applies a qualitative approach toward the case study method. The Efforts in improving the quality of STAI's academic services can be seen from the quality of higher education academic planning by taking strategic steps including forming teams, collecting data (diagnosis), formulating strategic plans (laying philosophical basis, formulating vision and mission, formulating goals and values, analyzing the situation, formulating of strategic policies, formulating of long-term development plans, formulating of financing strategies, and formulating of strategic controls), discussion, and socialization. Establishment of organizations / work units assigned to carry out, evaluate, and improve the implementation of academic quality. Then it is followed by the placement of personnel who are qualified and capable to carry out the task. The unit or institution / body formed will then formulate quality documents. The evaluation used to improve the quality of STAI is the internal quality evaluation of university. The efforts to improve quality focus on programs such as improving lecturer qualifications, structuring evaluations and accreditation. In terms of improving the quality of planning and budgeting, in addition to making improvements such as self-evaluation standards, it also includes evaluating learning outcomes, and conducting socialization.

Abstract

The achievement of a teacher in teaching is determined by several factors, both internal and external factors. Internal factors consist of motivation, self-confidence, and creativity of the teacher himself. While external factors are more emphasized on the facilities and climate of the school. Every progress achieved by humans always involves creativity. When humans long for productivity, effectiveness, efficiency, and even happiness that is better and higher than what was previously achieved, then creativity is the basis for achieving it. Creativity is basically a gift which is given by God to every human being, which is in the form of the ability to create (creative) and innovate. The implementation of one's creativity is not the same, depending on the extent to which the person is willing and able to turn his creativity into a creation or work.

Abstract

This study aims to find out: First, the application of learning using audio-visual media on natural science subjects of water cycle material in grade V of SDN Cirata. Secondly, differences in student learning outcomes after using audio-visual media in the science subjects of water cycle material in grade V SDN Cirata. Third, the response of students and teachers after using audio-visual media on natural science subjects’ water cycle material in grade V SDN Cirata. This research uses the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method. Data collection techniques using interviews, observation, tests and questionnaires. The conclusions of this study are: First, the steps of applying the use of audio-visual media using 3 stages, namely the preparation stage, the implementation phase and the follow-up stage. Second, before using audio-visual media in the pre-cycle stage the average score of students was 50 with mastery learning (7.69%) while in cycles I and II had used audio-visual media and an increase in learning outcomes. The first cycle of the average 63 students with mastery learning (43.59%) while in the second cycle the average value of students 77 with completeness (92.31%). Third, the response of students and teachers in the use of audio-visual media can be categorized as very agree. audio visual media is useful (91.03%), makes students better understand the material (92.95%), encourages students to be more focused (80.77%), students are more serious and test results increase (86.54%), make students more motivated (76.92%), and learning becomes more interesting (80.13%).

Abstract

This research discusses the influence of Principal's Strategy on Quality of Learning at Babakanjati Cianjur Elementary School. The study was motivated by the important role of the principal in order to improve the quality of learning, because the movement of a school organization is controlled by a principal. The benefit of this research is theoretically able to contribute to the development of education management, especially education leadership. Practically of which is as an information material to Babakanjati Cianjur Elementary School in implementing the principal's management in improving the quality of learning. As an information material to other institutions about the implementation of leadership management, and for principals and teachers can be used as a reference in an effort to develop the quality and performance itself in the organization where the responsibility. The type of this research is qualitative research with descriptive analysis approach. This method is implemented as an effort to search for information deeply about the strategy that has been done by principal through interview and direct observation. The results show that the principal has performed his leadership well in accordance with his role and function as principal. Principal strategy in improving the quality of education at Babakanjati Cianjur Elemetary School based on education quality management.

Abstract

Halal tourism was originally an attempt by the Islamic world to preserve its cultural heritage, while at the same time providing reinforcement to the Islamic world, both in the economic aspect, as well as the communal emotions of its adherents. However, in its aftermath, this halal tourism moves to be a label that is processed in such a way for business purposes only. There is a process of commodification of religion that makes halal labels no longer fit their use value, but rather is considered at how large the exchange rate is.

Abstract

The student's ability in reading Qur'an is very important to study the Islamic religion, especially in schools. Therefore, managers need to be aware of it. This study aims to determine the efforts of teachers in learning read and write Al-Qur’an to improve learning achievement of islamic education in the students of class VIII in SMP Al Falah Dago Full day school. The approach used in this research is combination approach (mix methods) with concurent triangulation design. With a population of 62 respondents. Data collection techniques used in the form of interviews, observation, and study documentation. In analyzing the data used program IBM SPSS 21.0. Based on the qualitative results that the efforts of read and write Al-Qur’an teachers have connection with read and write Al-Qur’an's learning achievement. Hypothesis testing of this research using simple linear regression. The results of hypothesis testing show that: Achievement learn read and write Al-Qur’an class VIII Full day in category "enough", that interval 75-83. The average learning achievement of read and write Al-Qur’an is 82. The achievement of learning islamic education class VIII Full Day category "enough", that is at interval 75-83. The average of islamic education learning achievement is 81. It is proved by the result of t test obtained t value = 15.386, while bigger than t table = 2.0002 at significance level 0.000, or smaller than 0.05 so Ho is rejected. It also obtained regression equation Y = 37.618 + 0,529X. It can be proved that the value of regression coefficient of variables read and write Al-Qur’an learning achievement (X) is equal to 0,529 + positive value, so it can be said that the achievement of learning read and write Al-Qur’an have a positive effect on learning achievement islamic education (Y). Positive influence is interpreted, that the increasing learning achievement read and write Al-Qur’an (X) will also increase learning achievement islamic education (Y).

Abstract

This research is motivated by the Bandung City Government's policy of rolling out the Prosperous Mosque Credit Program (Mesra), which is a loan program without collateral and without interest. This policy is intended to move the economy, improve the welfare of the community, minimize the practice of moneylenders who are troubling the community, and foster new entrepreneurs. This program is an embodiment of the idea to make a mosque not only a place of worship but also a center of community economic growth. Practically in the field, from the results of the preliminary study, two of the four board members of DKM did not yet know about MESRA credit program. While other managers know about MESRA credit program, but do not know how it is implemented. Therefore, the authors are interested in conducting research on the perceptions and participation of the board of the Mosque Prosperity Council (DKM) on the MESRA Credit Program in the City of Bandung. This research uses descriptive analysis method, the type of data is information; and data sources can be obtained by researchers through primary data in the form of interviews with DKM management and secondary data in the form of various journals, research articles, and books, websites, etc. which are all closely related to understanding and perception, as well as the participation of DKM administrators towards the MESRA Credit program in the City of Bandung. The results of this study concluded that the understanding from management of DKM about the MESRA Credit Program in Bandung was still very low and there was no participation from them in succeeding the program. Next, the authors suggest to the stakeholders to conduct massive socialization to the public and to the board of the DKM and mobilize related elements such as Ministry of Religion, BAZDA, MUI, and related financial institutions.
