Abstract

The study was to analyze the phenomenon of Indonesian use in caption of instagram that expressed a proud attitude toward Indonesia's cultural identity. Through a qualitative approach with content analysis, the article explored how the use of Indonesian in instagram caption reflects pride in local cultural heritage and values. The study involves analysis of caption of various types of instagram accounts, ranging from personal accounts to individual or influencer active in Indonesian. With a focus on linguistic, social, and cultural aspects, the study aims to understand how the use of language in instagram caption can serve asa representation of a strong national identity attitude and how it can affect user perception and interactions of the content. The findings of this study are expected to provide insight into the role of language in strengthening and promoting pride in Indonesia's cultural identity in context of social media. In the study, the methods we take are qualitative methods, we do data processing through questionnaire charging and the results show that people are already convinced in their Indonesian prideful attitude, but implementation suggests 70%. Rest shows some of our people don't really use instagram that much.

Abstract

The background of this classroom action research is the importance of learning application that is fun and more significance in conveying a concept on mathematics learning activities at 1st grade of SD Negeri 1 Kualasimpang and a lack of students’ understanding on the sum of story form, so that the results are less than the maximum. Based on those problems, through this research is expected to provide solution. The solution is to apply the method of learning to play role that can make students more active in the learning process and can improve the students’ learning result. This research uses classroom action research (CAR). This research is implemented by the class teacher with three stages, they are: planning, implementation, and reflection. Implementation of the act is done in a collaborative and participatory, in order to improve the performance and management of the classroom. The data collection techniques for this research are observation and testing technique, while the data analysis technique uses quantitative descriptive analysis technique. This research is implemented by two cycles. Each cycle is held two meetings. Teacher activity in the cycle I is 69 %, in the cycle II is 88 %. Student activity in the cycle I is 51 %, in the cycle II is 83 %. And the learning result in the cycle I is obtained the percentage of classical completeness by 50% and in the cycle II is 80%. Based on the result of research, it can be conclude that the application of the role play method in mathematics by summing in story form can improve learning result and students activity at 1st grade of SD Negeri 1 Kualasimpang.

Abstract

Problems in learning mathematics, especially FPB and KPK material, are caused by many factors, one of which is the characteristics of mathematics. This research aims to determine student learning outcomes on KPK and FPB material in class IV of SDN Krueng Baung using the Problem Based Learning model. This research is Classroom Action Research (PTK) with a quantitative approach. The results of the research showed that there was an increase in student learning outcomes in KPK and FPB material in class IV of SDN Krueng Baung. This is proven by the results of research conducted on the pretest, 4 students (28.57%) received a passing score, while 10 students (71.42%) did not complete it, with an average score of 74.07. In the posttest, students' learning outcomes increased to 12 students (85.71%) and 2 students (14.28%) did not complete them, with an average learning outcome score of 79.21.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the improvement of learning motivation for science subjects of fifth grade students at SDN Kedai Runding by using realia media. The research was conducted at SDN Kedai Runding, Kec. Kluet Selatan, Kab. Aceh Selatan. The research subjects were 10 fifth grade students in the first semester of the 2020/2021 academic year. The research method used was a classroom action research using the Kemmis and Mc Taggart cycle model with four stages in each cycle: planning, action implementation, observation, and reflection. Data collection techniques were carried out by filling out questionnaires and conducting interviews, as well as collecting data using documentation/photos taken during the learning process. The research results show that the data obtained from the learning process using realia media in cycle I was 83.08%, and cycle II was 93.75%. The average student motivation score in cycle I was 84.26, and cycle II was 101.28, with a theoretical score ranging from 30-120. Thus, learning by using realia media can improve students’ learning motivation. The implication of this research is that the use of realia media in learning science subjects can be an alternative to foster or improve students’ learning motivation in fifth grade at SDN Kedai Runding.

Abstract

This classroom action research aims to improve student learning outcomes by using media in mathematics learning for class VI students at SD Negeri Kaloy. Research includes Classroom Action Research. The subjects of this research were class VI students at SD Negeri Kaloy in the 2022/2023 academic year, totaling 27 students consisting of 14 male students and 13 female students, a class teacher, and a colleague. The techniques used to collect data in this research are observation and test techniques. The data obtained is in the form of test results and observation results as supporting data. The research data were analyzed using qualitative descriptions to describe the results of observations and quantitative descriptives to describe the percentage of test results in each cycle. The results of the research show that the use of spatial props can improve the quality of mathematics learning for class VI students at SD Negeri Kaloy. The results of the initial ability test (Cycle I) showed that of the 27 class VI students, only 11 students could be declared complete in learning by getting a score ≥ 70, while 16 students were declared incomplete with a score ≤ 70 with an average score of 69.1 . These results mean that it is not in accordance with the target set by researchers with learning completeness being 75%. The results of the second cycle test showed that of the 27 class VI students, only 21 students could be declared complete in their studies by getting a score of ≥ 70, while 6 students were declared incomplete with a score of ≤ 70 with an average score of 79.3. These results mean that it is in accordance with the target set by the researchers with learning completeness being 78%.

Abstract

Improving mathematics learning outcomes is one of the important goals that students are expected to achieve in learning mathematics, but in reality the majority of students still have difficulty understanding the fractional number calculation operations they are studying. This research aims to improve the learning outcomes of fractional number counting operations using number cards. The type of research is classroom action research with all class VI students at SDN Krueng Baung for the 2020/2021 academic year as research subjects. This research is said to be successful if it meets the indicators of success, namely: (1) the average score of learning outcomes for students' fractional counting operations increases and meets the minimum completeness criteria, namely 75; and (2) the percentage of students who complete increases and reaches ≥ 75% of the total number of students. The research results showed that: (1) in Cycle I the average assignment score was 65.55 and the percentage of students who completed it was 27.28%, (2) while in Cycle II the average assignment score was 85.27 and the percentage of students who completed it was 83.33%, and (3) there was an increase in the average assignment score from Cycle I to Cycle II by 19.72 and there was an increase in the test score from Cycle I to Cycle II by 20.55. The conclusion obtained is that the application of the number card method can improve the learning outcomes of fractional number calculation operations for Class VI students at SDN Krueng Baung for the 2020/2021 academic year. For teachers who teach Mathematics subjects in elementary schools, it is necessary to use learning media that is appropriate to the material being discussed, so that the learning atmosphere for Mathematics subjects is not in a tense atmosphere but instead in a pleasant atmosphere.

Abstract

This research discusses the smart ladder media for weight units to improve students' understanding of Class III Mathematics at SD Negeri Malaka. The research was motivated by problems found in the field regarding the low understanding of students in mastering the concept of measuring the weight of Class III students at SD Negeri Malaka. The aim of this research is to improve the abilities of Class III students at SD Negeri Malaka. in understanding the concept of measuring the weight of objects in Mathematics subjects. The target of this research was 20 Class III students at SD Negeri Malaka. This research uses a type of classroom action research. From the results of the analysis, it was found that students' understanding of weight measurements in Mathematics lessons showed that there had been an increase in the average from cycle I to cycle II, namely cycle I (68), cycle II (80). The conclusion of this research is that the use of smart ladder media for weight units can facilitate and provide students' understanding of weight units in Mathematics learning.

Abstract

One form of mathematics learning that is oriented towards mathematizing everyday experiences and applying mathematics in everyday life is Realistic Mathematics Learning. This research aims to find out that mathematics learning outcomes can be improved through a realistic mathematics approach for Class V students at SD Negeri 057761 Kwala Gebang. This type of research is classroom action research which is carried out in stages that include planning, action, observation and reflection. The data collected was analyzed using quantitative and qualitative analysis. The results of the research concluded that mathematics learning outcomes had increased through a realistic mathematics approach in class V students at SD Negeri 057761 Kwala Gebang, this can be seen from: (1) the increase in the average student mathematics learning outcomes, namely in cycle I, from 64.36 to 88 .2 in cycle II; (2) increasing the percentage of students who have completed their studies, namely in cycle I by 48% to 92% in cycle II; and (3) increasing student activity in the learning process in accordance with the observation sheet carried out during the research, namely student activity that is appropriate to learning has increased from cycle I by 51.77% to 72.88% in cycle II and decreasing student activity that is not appropriate with learning from cycle I of 20% to 9.33% in cycle II.

Abstract

Verbal abuse means impolite, referring to Leech's politeness principle. The problem of this research is: how is language violence in the Indonesian National Brave media? The long-term goal of this research is to prevent conflicts that occur in Indonesia due to hatred. The target of this research is to obtain reliable findings about patterns of language violence in Indonesia's national online media. The method used is pragmatic content analysis. The results of the research show that language violence predominantly occurs in Indonesia's national online media. The violence of language is measured by its violation of the Principle of Politeness which consists of six maxims. Of the total 8,922 analyses, 3,852 complied and 5,070 were tracked. If we look at the analysis of comments for each topic, out of 100 topics, only 16 topics tend to have comments that comply with the principles of politeness and 84 topics tend to violate them. From the research findings, it was also revealed that language violence predominantly occurs on topics related to political issues. While the topics relate to entertainment and the arts, there is rarely any violent language. This research also reveals that language violence has grown rapidly since the 2014 presidential election.

Abstract

This research aims to determine (1) The form of teaching materials in folklore texts (saga) assisted by the Class X Macromedia Flash application (2) The process of developing teaching materials in folklore texts (saga) assisted by the Class on folklore texts (saga) assisted by the Class X Macromedia Flash application (4) effectiveness of teaching materials on folklore texts (saga) assisted by the Class The trial was carried out in class X MIA at MAS Miftahul Falah Diski. The object of this research is folklore text teaching material assisted by the Macromedia Flash application. The results show 1) The validity of the teaching materials developed is included in the valid category with an average value of total material validity of 88.3% from material experts and 87.5% from media experts. 2) The effectiveness of classical completeness reached 86.4%, that is, it had met the completeness criteria, namely ≥ 85% of students reached the KKM. 3) Student responses show interest in learning with teaching materials developed with the help of Macromedia Flash on folklore (saga) text material seen from the average student response questionnaire score in product trials of 89.20% in the interesting category.
