Abstract

In the modern technological era, the Internet of Things (IoT) plays a significant role in developing robotic control systems, including robotic arms. This study explores the implementation of an ESP32-based webhost to control and monitor robotic arm operations in real time via a web interface connected to a Wi-Fi network. The system is designed to provide ease of access, reliable performance, and low latency, making it suitable for education, technical training, and other applications. Testing revealed that the system delivers fast response times, high stability under moderate loads, and an intuitive interface for users with varying skill levels. These findings present opportunities for further development, including integration with cloud-based technologies and data security enhancements

Abstract

The research aims to determine the results of developing a monitoring system based on a website and WhatsApp gateway at SD Telkom Makassar, as well as to evaluate the system's performance using ISO/IEC 25010 standards. This research uses the Research and Development (R&D) approach. The development model applied is the prototype model. Data was collected through interviews and questionnaires. The system was implemented with several technologies, including the Laravel framework, MySQL, and WhatsApp gateway. The system testing used ISO/IEC 25010, covering 8 aspects: (1) Functional suitability aspect fulfilled 134 out of 134 total features, scoring 100% and categorized as suitable. (2) The Usability aspect achieved a percentage score of 96.3%, classified as very good. (3) The Performance efficiency aspect received a grade of B with a performance percentage of 82%. (4) Reliability aspect achieved a metric score of 100%. (5) The Maintainability aspect met the criteria of instrumentation, consistency, and simplicity. (6) The Portability aspect achieved a perfect score with no errors. (7) Compatibility aspect scored well with no errors. (8) The Security aspect was at Vulnerability Level 0 (safe). The developed system successfully met the ISO/IEC 25010 testing standards, this qualifying as a reliable information system

Abstract

In the digital age, reading has evolved from a traditional physical book to a more dynamic and technology-integrated activity through e-books and other digital platforms. However, this progress also presents new challenges, such as a significant decline in reading interest in Indonesia, especially among the younger generation. Redify, an innovation in the digital reading ecosystem, addresses this challenge by offering a more engaging reading experience and incorporating a strong community approach. This article explores how Redify leverages the latest technologies and agile development methods to quickly adapt its features to meet readers' needs and preferences. By encouraging social interaction and discussion among readers, Redify aims to revive reading habits and improve the overall reading experience. The study also assesses the feasibility and effectiveness of Redify's strategy in overcoming the decline in reading interest among the younger generation in Indonesia.

Abstract

New student admission is a strategic step for schools to ensure the quality of education and optimal resource management. This research aims to analyse new student candidate data at SMK Negeri 1 Teknologi dan Rekayasa Mimika using the K-Means clustering method. Student data is grouped into three clusters based on academic grades to detect prospective students who have the potential to enter superior classes. The analysis results show that cluster 3 has the highest average academic score, making it possible for students in cluster 3 to enter the general superior class. cluster 2 showed excellence in certain aspects, particularly E grades, making it suitable for specific programmes oriented towards talent development. Finally, cluster 1 has the lowest average score and requires further assistance to improve academic performance. Evaluating the cluster results using Silhouette Score, all three clusters are in the "Good" category (0.51-0.70), with the highest score in cluster 3 (0.594). The recommendation from this study is to prioritise students from Cluster 3 for general superior classes and some from cluster 2 for special superior programs, so as to support the vision of SMK Negeri 1 Technology and Engineering Mimika in improving the quality of data-based education.

Abstract

The high number of cybercrime cases shows the need for user awareness to avoid various crimes on the internet. This research aims to determine whether there is a relationship between the level of user awareness of cybercrime threats and the level of application of the phishing and malware warning features on the google browser. The researcher uses a quantitative approach. Data was obtained from questionnaires and analyzed using the Pearson coefficient correlation method. By using this method, a positive correlation coefficient value was found between the two variables. The positive correlation coefficient value indicates that there is a relationship between the two variables.

Abstract

Environmental management in Lorong Wisata requires innovative approaches to support economic and ecological sustainability. This research aims to design and implement an Internet of Things (IoT)-based automatic watering system to improve efficiency in plant management in the area. The system is designed using soil moisture sensors, microcontrollers, and an IoT platform to automate the watering process according to the needs of plants in real-time. Data collected from the sensors is integrated with web-based and mobile applications, enabling remote monitoring and control. Trial results showed that the system was able to optimise water usage by 30% compared to manual methods, while increasing plant growth by 20% in a three-month observation period. In addition, the solution supports local community participation with technical training, creating new economic opportunities through productive crop cultivation. This innovation is expected to become a sustainability model that can be replicated in other regions, integrating IoT technology in supporting resource efficiency, community empowerment, and environmental conservation. This research concludes that the application of IoT technology in community-based environmental management can accelerate the achievement of economic and ecological sustainability goals in tourist areas.

Abstract

Sistem Informasi Lowongan Pekerjaan Sekitar Kota Makassar adalah platform digital yang menyediakan informasi tentang pekerjaan yang tersedia di sekitar kota Makassar, termasuk deskripsi pekerjaan, persyaratan, dan cara mengajukan lamaran. Pencarian kerja adalah proses penting bagi individu yang mencari peluang kerja untuk mencocokkan keterampilan dan minat mereka dengan posisi pekerjaan yang sesuai. Pada penelitian ini, metode yang digunakan adalah model pengembangan perangkat lunak Agile. Berbeda dengan pendekatan tradisional, metode ini memprioritaskan kemampuan beradaptasi dan keterlibatan pelanggan, kontras dengan pendekatan tradisional, yang mengarah pada pengiriman perangkat lunak yang lebih cepat dan lebih akurat Penelitian ini berhasil mengembangkan aplikasi NextJob yang berfungsi sebagai platform pencarian kerja bagi masyarakat Kota Makassar. Menggunakan metodologi Agile, aplikasi ini mampu menyediakan solusi yang adaptif dan tepat guna dalam menghubungkan pencari kerja dengan peluang pekerjaan yang sesuai. Implementasi dan pengujian aplikasi menunjukkan bahwa NextJob efektif dalam meningkatkan proses pencarian kerja, yang pada gilirannya diharapkan dapat membantu mengurangi tingkat pengangguran di daerah tersebut.

Abstract

This research aims to develop a FinanTrack mobile application that assists users in managing personal finances efficiently. This application is developed through several important stages, starting from needs analysis, software design with use case diagrams and data flow diagrams, and implementation using the Java programming language on Android Studio. The FinanTrack application has a main feature to record expenses and income, as well as a form to add new transaction data. Users can categorize transactions, view history, and monitor total finances in real- time. With this application, it is hoped that people can easily manage their personal finances through their smartphones, so as to improve financial literacy and help achieve better financial stability.

Abstract

Segmentation is an important step in building a fruit-quality classification system. Previous research has shown the success of the Otsu Thresholding method for fruit image segmentation, but its application to Carolina Reaper chili images in Indonesia has not been carried out specifically. This research proposes the integration of the Otsu Thresholding method with morphological operations to improve the accuracy of Carolina Reaper chili image segmentation based on the ripeness level. The process starts with RGB image acquisition using a controlled camera, followed by red channel extraction as the segmentation input. The Otsu method is used to separate the object and background based on pixel intensity, resulting in a binary image that is enhanced through morphological operations, including dilation, imfill, and bwareaopen. The results show high accuracy, with averages of 99.85% (mature), 99.38% (almost mature), and 99.67% (raw). The average computation time is less than one second which shows the potential for real-time applications. This research contributes to the efficiency of technology-based postharvest processing of Carolina chili peppers

Abstract

The LP3M Assignment Letter Management System is a forum for the academic community to submit letters such as resource person assignment letters, research, and also service. This system was created to make it easier for users to submit letters, because previously it was only manual. The LP3M assignment letter management system plays an important role in the process of managing, storing, and providing information related to lecturers' assignment letters at the Nobel Institute of Technology and Business Indonesia. The information stored on this website is sensitive and requires adequate protection. Therefore, the security analysis of the LP3M assignment letter website is a very important thing to do to ensure confidentiality, integrity, and data availability. The large number of users accessing allows one to steal personal data from users. So this research aims to analyze the security of the system using OWASP ZAP. There are 9 vulnerabilities detected in the LP3M mail management system. The test results on the system were obtained high 0, medium 64, low 176. The total number of security vulnerabilities found amounted to 240.
