Abstract

The maternal mortality rate in Indonesia in 2015 was 305 out of 100,000 live births according to the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia (Kemenkes). Based on data from the Ministry of Health's Center for Health and Information (2014), the main causes of maternal mortality from 2010-2013 were bleeding (30.3% in 2013) and hypertension (27.1% in 2013). Postpartum hemorrhage is bleeding that occurs after delivery (delivery), as much as 500 ml in vaginal delivery or more than 1000 ml in cesarean section. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the one-hand technique in reducing the amount of bleeding compared to the two-hand technique that has been used in third-stage active management. This study is an experimental quantitative study to compare the one-hand technique in third-stage active management versus the two-hand technique. The population was taken from all pregnant women who gave birth in the delivery room of KRI Maulidya Husada within three months. The number of samples in this study were 36 people, namely: 18 people using the one-hand technique that met the inclusion criteria and 18 people using the two hand technique who met the inclusion criteria. In this study, it is known that almost all respondents with spontaneous labor who were given the one-hand technique experienced bleeding less than 250cc, namely 61% and the two-hand technique treatment experienced bleeding more than 250cc, namely 39%

Abstract

Transmission of human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) from mother to baby is now increasing with the increase in women infected with HIV. This study aims to analyze the knowledge and attitudes of pregnant women towards motivation to conduct PMTCT VCT test in Bojonegoro Regency. This research was carried out in five puskesmas in Bojonegoro, namely Ngambon, Sugihwaras, Kesongo, Malo and Kepohbaru Puskesmas. The study design was cross sectional study. The sampling technique used porpotional sampling and a sample of 110 respondents, where data collection was carried out using a questionnaire. Statistical tests used logistic regression tests at the significance level of p <0.05 and a 95% Confidence Interval (IK). The results showed that nearly half of the respondents 47,3% had good knowledge about HIV / AIDS and the PMTCT VCT test tended to have strong motivation at 62%. Statistically variable knowledge and attitudes of pregnant women have a significant relationship when a logistic regression analysis was performed with sig values. 0,000 which means the value is < 0.05. So that the knowledge and attitudes of pregnant women about HIV / AIDS, HIV VCT and PMTCT are considered influential on motivation to carry out VCT PMTCT tests.

From the results of the study, it is known that the average psychological well-being score of mothers in caring for mentally retarded children before the mindfulness-based stress reduction therapy is 80.6 with the lowest score is 78 and the highest is 83, while after that the average score is 117.07 with the lowest score 114 the highest is 123. T-test analysis show of p-value = 0.000 (p-value <0.05,so H0 is rejected). This is due to the provision of mindfulness therapy (full awareness), the mother begins to realize that caring for a child who is experiencing mental retardation is an experience here at this time that must be faced. Abstract

Hypertension is a systolic blood pressure (SBP) value of 130mmHg or more and / or a diastolic blood pressure (DBP) of more than 80 mmHg. One of the factors in the development of essential hypertension is the patient's genetic ability to respond to salt. Various non-pharmacological interventions have been shown to be effective in lowering blood pressure and preventing hypertension. The most effective interventions are weight loss, reduced Na + intake, increased potassium intake, increased physical activity, reduced alcohol consumption and a diet such as Diet Approaches to Stop Hypertension (DASH) which combines several elements that are useful in controlling blood pressure. A diet that emphasized fruit and vegetable intake significantly reduced high blood pressure during the 8-week intervention. Some things we can do to help reduce hypertension at home are to maintain a diet and daily lifestyle and can be done through hydrotherapy (soaking your feet in warm water).

Abstract

Acute respiratory tract infection is the process of entry of a microorganism into the respiratory tract organs which can cause an antibody antigen response and lasts up to 14 days. According to the World Health Organization in 2007, ARI is one of the causes of death in children under five in developing countries. One of the risk factors for the occurrence of ARI is due to exposure to cigarette smoke. This study aims to determine the relationship between exposure to cigarette smoke in the room and the incidence of ARI in toddlers at Asembagus Public Health Center, Situbondo Regency. The type of research used in this study is in the form of an analytical study using a cross sectional approach. The number of population contained in this study were 34 patients under five. Then, after the sampling technique was carried out in the inclusion criteria and exclusion criteria, a total sample of 30 respondents was obtained which were analyzed using the Linear Regression statistical test with the help of SPSS software for windows version 17. The results showed that the distribution of high and low exposure to cigarette smoke in the room in the respondents found that most of the respondents (73.33%) had a high level of exposure to cigarette smoke. Meanwhile, the distribution of ARI incidence among toddlers, most (63.33%) was at the moderate ARI incidence rate. From the results of the calculation of the linear regression statistical test, it can be concluded that there is a significant positive relationship of 0.403 between exposure to cigarette smoke in the room to the incidence of ARI in toddlers at Asembagus Public Health Center in 2020. The level of exposure to cigarette smoke exposure to the incidence of ARI depends on the concentration of cigarette smoke gathered in a closed room according to the number of smokers, the type of cigarette smoked and the characteristics of the room conditions, for example, the size of ventilation, air temperature and humidity, and the habits of toddlers who are in a non-smoking area.
