Abstract

The Family Information System Training Application (FIST) was built with the aim of providing convenience for data and information managers at all regional levels in terms of managing annual and monthly report data for the family planning service system and updating the Indonesian family database. Analyze the effect of Family Information System Training (FIST) (X) on Ability (Y1) and Compliance (Y2) of Network Midwives on SiGA Recording and Reporting.A quantitative study with an analytical description approach, the sample involved in this study were 117 midwives in the North Sangata District, East Kutai Regency, the sampling technique was simple random sampling. There is a significant probability test value of the training variable with ability(Y1)(p value <0.000, Beta coefficient 0.793; R2 0.629). significant probability test of training variable with compliance(Y2)(p value <0.001; Beta coefficient 0.331; R2 0.605). Significant probability test of ability variable(Y2)with compliance(Y2)(p value < 0.000; Beta coefficient 0.4891). Indirect Effect X️Y1️Y2 ; ((X️Y1) x (Y1️Y2)) is 0.398 (0.793x0.489).There is a positive direct and indirect significant positive effect of Family Information System Training (SiGA) on the ability and compliance of the Network Midwife to (FIST) Recording and Reporting.

Abstract

The total population of more than 60 years which continues to increase makes Indonesia enter the era of “aging population”. Increasing the number of elderly population can be a public health challenge that requires serious treatment because naturally the elderly experience a decrease both in terms of physical, biological, and psychological. Elderly shows a variety of psychological problems. The goal of the research is to study the picture of the elderly at The Social Services Unit of Tresna Werdha Batoro Katong Ponorogo. The research design uses qualitative descriptive with cross sectional study research design.. The population is 62 respondents. The sampling technique is total sampling. The independent variable is a anxiety. The results showed that the elderly experienced anxiety from the level of not experiencing anxiety 18 respondent (29%), mild anxiety 20 respondents (32%), and moderate anxiety 24 respondents (39%). Symptoms of mild anxiety are tense, lethargic, can not sleep, wake up with lethargy, loss of interest, abdominal pain, and bloating. Symptoms of moderate anxiety are feeling tense, restlessness, difficulty going to sleep, waking up at night, waking up listlessly, loss of interest, reduced hobbies, muscle aches, palpitations, stomach twists, bloating, and nausea. Based on the results of research that anxiety is often experienced by the elderly. This is caused by distress, cognitive impairment, comorbid social factors, medical (pain an number of medical conditions), psychiatric (depression).

Abstract

Menstruation can be a scary experience. Adequate preparation before menarche have a significant impact on girls' early experience of menarche. How does a mother communicating with her daughter about menarche and menstrual problems may affect future experience the girl. The purpose of this study was to analyze the influence of the mother's interpersonal communication factors on the child's readiness to come of menarche at MI Ma'arif Polorejo. This research design uses a qualitative method with a case study approach. The sampling technique used was snowball sampling. The informants used are the mothers of students who have not experienced menarche. The results of the study using in-depth interviews with 9 informants showed that interpersonal communication between mothers and children was still lacking, this was due to the lack of knowledge from mothers and the intensity of communication between mothers and children which could not be done intensively, so there are students who are prepared for menarche, and students are not prepared for menarche. Constraints expressed by the informant informant because knowledge is limited, and the child has not experienced menarche, so that the informants had not been able to provide detailed information.

Abstract

Diarrhea is an endemic disease that has a potential to cause outbreak as a contributor to mortality in Indonesia, especially in children under five, so it must be dealt immediately. Mothers are essential figures in every monitoring of children’s health, especially in knowledge and self-efficacy in handling diarrhea.This research aims to analyze the relationship between mother’s knowledge and self-efficacy in handling diarrhea for toddlers at Garum Health Center. Researcher uses a quantitative design with cross sectional approach. The population of this study were all mothers whose toddler had diarrhea and came for treatment at the Garum Health Center Blitar. There are 35 respondents as the sample with accidental sampling technique. Researcher conducted informed consent first and then distribute the questionnaire about knowledge and self-efficacy. The data results were analysed by using the Spearman Rho. The respondents having sufficient knowledge as many as 15 respondents (42,9%), most of the respondents have high self-efficacy as many as 20 respondents (57,1%).The results of the Spearman Rank statistical test obtained the value of sig. 0.015 < 0.05 which indicates there is a relationship between mother's knowledge and self-efficacy in handling diarrhea in toddlers.Mothers who are able to do first aid on diarrhea in their toddlers properly and appropriately can be a factor in the toddler's recovery without referring their toddler to the health center. The good knowledge of mother must be followed by high self-efficacy that is able to carry out proper handling of toddlers with diarrhea.

Abstract

The issuance of the The issuance of the Undang-undang Keperawatan No. 38 of 2014 which was strengthened by Peraturan Menteri Kesehatan No. 26 of 2019 has provided legal certainty that nurses are allowed to establish independent nursing practice places, both individually and in groups. Although regulations on independent nursing practice have long been developing, and there are more than 3147 nurses in Mataram City, in Mataram City there is only one independent nursing practice. This study was to describe the factors that influence nurses' interest in carrying out independent nursing practice in the working area of DPD PPNI Mataram City in 2021. The research used was descriptive qualitative research and the selection of informants in this study used purposive sampling, technical The data collection used was by conducting indepth interviews, observation and documentation, while the informants in this study were key informants and source informants. Indicates that the main factors that influence nurses' interest in implementing independent nursing practice are the lack of understanding of the regulations governing independent nursing practice, financial sources, motivational factors and the last factor of work environment.

Abstract

The decline in the performance of health workers is caused by several factors, including the reward system, discipline, work motivation and work contract status. The purpose of this study was to analyze the performance of non-medical personnel (non-ASN employees) at Dr. Harjono S. General Hospital In Ponorogo. This research is a non-experimental research with the type of observational analysis research with a cross sectional approach. The sample in this study was 157 people. Sampling in this study was carried out by cluster random sampling, namely the sampling technique in groups. Sampling of this type is carried out based on certain groups / areas. Data analysis using univariate and bivariate analysis (chi-square statistical test). The results showed that there was a relationship between the reward system (p = 0.000), discipline (p = 0.000), work motivation (p = 0.006), and work contract status (good = 91%) with the performance of non-medical personnel at Dr. Harjono S. General Hospital In Ponorogo. The conclusion from the research is that there is a positive influence between the reward system, discipline, work motivation and employment contract status with the performance of non-medical personnel at Dr. Harjono S. General Hospital In Ponorogo.

Abstract

Elderly is said to be the final stage of development in the human life cycle including biological, psychological and social, these changes will automatically affect the lives of the elderly, especially regarding the problems of self-esteem and happiness of the elderly. The purpose of this study was to analysis of cognitive therapy on increased self-esteem and elderly happiness in the elderly cottage of the Al-Ishlah foundation Malang. The design of this research is Quasy-Experimental with Time Series Design method. The population is elderly with impaired self-esteem and happiness. The sample was selected using a purposive sampling technique with inclusion and exclusion criteria and obtained a sample of 20 people. The variables measured in this study were self-esteem and happiness. The statistical test used was the Wilcoxon test with a 95% confidence level. The results of the pretest measurement showed that most of the respondents experienced low self-esteem 12 (60%) and moderate happiness 13 respondents (65%), and the posttest measurement results showed that almost all respondents had high self-esteem and high happiness 18 respondents (90%). The results of statistical analysis showed that there was a significant increase in self-esteem and happiness with a total value of p = 0.001. Seeing the results of this study, cognitive therapy which aims to change negative thoughts into positive thoughts, which is proven to increase self-esteem and happiness, the working system is that negative thoughts are rationalized and converted into rational positive thoughts by carrying out positive behaviors or activities and socialize with individuals around and the environment. With lots of positive activities will eliminate negative thoughts.

Abstract

One of the efforts to reduce maternal and child mortality is by implementing classes for pregnant women. However, the number of pregnant women participating in the class for pregnant women in Indonesia is still low. This is because pregnant women class participants feel bored with the method used. The purpose of the study was to determine the effectiveness of the application of the snake and ladder method on the motivation and activeness of attending classes for pregnant women in Ngepoh village, Dringu district, Probolinggo district. This type of research uses a quasi-experimental pre-post test design with a non-equivalent control group. This research was conducted for 3 months. The population in this study were all pregnant women in the second and third trimesters who had their pregnancy checked. The sample of this study amounted to 10 people. The results obtained indicate that based on the Wilcoxon test results indicate that value = 0.038 which means that there is an effect of the snake and ladder method on the motivation of pregnant women to take classes for pregnant women and at value = 0.046 which means that there is an effect of the snake and ladder method on the activity of pregnant women in participating in maternal classes. pregnant. It can be concluded that there is an increase in the motivation and activeness of mothers in attending classes for pregnant women.

Abstract

Breast milk is the most ideal food for babies. One of the efforts to increase breast milk production in post partum is to stimulate its natural hormones, namely the hormone prolactin and the hormone oxytocin. There are several interventions to increase the smoothness of breast milk, namely oxytocin massage, endorphin massage, and the marmet technique.The research design used was a quasi-experimental design with a post-test only design. The research sample was 60 post-sectional mothers who were taken using simple random sampling. The independent variables are marmet technique, oxytocin massage, endorphin massage. The dependent variable is post-sectional milk production. Data were collected using a questionnaire and analyzed using the Kuskal Wallis Test with a significance of p <0.05.The results showed that the treatment of the marmet technique for breast milk production was not smooth as many as 15 respondents (75%). The endorphin massage treatment had smooth milk production as many as 17 respondents (85%). Oxytocin massage treatment for milk production was smooth as many as 20 respondents (100%). Based on the Kuskal Wallis Test, it is known that Asymp.Sig. (2-tailed) has a value of 0.0000 which is <0.05, it can be concluded that Ha is accepted, there is a significant difference between breast milk production with the marmet technique, oxytocin massage, and endorphin massage to breast-milk production on post caesarean section women at Puri Bunda Hospital Malang. It was concluded that oxytocin massage and endorphin massage are techniques that have the opportunity to launch breast milk compared to the marmet technique on the production of breast milk for post sectio mothers at Puri Bunda Hospital Malang. It is recommended for further researchers to be able to measure the intensity of oxytocin massage pressure, endorphins, and marmet techniques in order to increase the accuracy of giving oxytocin massage to post caesarean section women.

Abstract

Occupational health and safety system (OHS) is expected to prevent occupational diseases, incidents during work, and to guarantee the protection of workers. They should integrate the OHS system in its management. As a result, there is a feasibility of minimizing occupational diseases in factory workers because of the efficiency protection from the OHS division. The study used a literature review that aims to identify the implementation of OHS system and to lessen ocupational diseases on factory workers. The utilized database programs were Google Scholar, PubMed, Science Direct, and PEDro using the keywords Ergonomic, OHS, and occupational diseases. There were found 10 articles related to the topic that was published from 2019 to 2021. Six of them were from Indonesia’s journal while the rest were from international journal.Many big factories had already applied the OHS system in Indonesia to ensure the safety of their workers whereas the OHS meeting was less important to be discussed in Sweden.There was a particular disease that could not be avoided such as hearing disorders due to the continuously high-intensity noise exposure. However, OHS system had succeed to measure the danger level of an activity at work and minimize the casualties.
