Abstract

Osteoarthritis is a degenerative disease of the joints that involves cartilage, joint lining, ligaments, and bones, causing pain and stiffness in the joints. This study aims to explain the effect of the Static and Dynamic Quadriceps Exercise Program on reducing pain in Knee Osteoartrose Patients at Dempo Surgery. This study is a quantitative using a quasi-experimental design with a two groups pretest-posttest approach with control group design, namely by adding a comparison group where the first group, namely the treatment group, was given static quadriceps exercise and the second group, namely the control group with dynamic quadriceps exercise and taking medication that is provided by the health center. The structure of the research design contains 3 components, namely the initial state, the treatment and the condition due to the treatment. This study involved 28 samples were determined by total sampling technique because the number of respondents was not so large that the results were expected to be more valid. Collecting data on signs and symptoms of knee osteoarthritis which includes knee joint pain was measured by VAS. The data that has been collected is then processed and analyzed using the SPSS program. Before analyzing the data, the researcher conducted a Classical Assumption test by testing homogeneity and normality. The test results show that the data collected is normally distributed and homogeneous. The results of hypothesis testing indicate that there is an effect of the Static and Dynamic Quadriceps Exercise Program on reducing pain in Knee Osteoartrose Patients at Dempo Surgery.

Abstract

Gestational hypertension is one of the conditions that can arise during pregnancy and can lead to more serious complications. Seizures or eclampsia, brain hemorrhage, pulmonary edema (fluid in the lungs), abrupt kidney failure, and blood clots in the blood vessels are all possible complications of hypertension in pregnancy. This study attempts to determine the factors that influence the risk of gestational hypertension. Weight gain, sleep patterns, and dietary habits are variables that are expected to have a substantial effect on gestational hypertension. The test equipment employed is logistic regression and the study method is descriptive quantitative. The study included 103 pregnant women in their third trimester at Klinik Bersalin Budi Asih, Turen - Malang. The result of this research showed that weight gain received a Sig value of 0.016, which was less than the minimum level of 0.05, indicating that weight gain has a significant effect on gestational hypertension. The sleep patern has a Sig value of 0.006, which is less than the 0.05 threshold, indicating that sleep length has a substantial impact on gestational hypertension. The last variable, dietary habit, has a s Sig value of 0,034, which is higher than the threshold of 0.05, indicating that dietary habit has a significant impact on gestational hypertension. The Chi Square value of 28,678 with a significance level of 0.001 indicates that all of this study's independent variables have a significant influence on gestational hypertension.

Abstract

The form of service that is the main focus of the hospital includes outpatient services or poly services, including cardiac polyclinic. Outpatient poly services are the main focus because there are more patients in outpatient polyclinics than inpatients. But in fact there are still many patients who are less loyal to the hospital due to poor service, or the communication delivered by the officer is not acceptable to the patient. The purpose of this study was to analyze the influence of therapeutic communication and service quality on patient loyalty at the Cardiology poly of Sakinah Islamic Hospital at Mojokerto. The design of this research is analytic observational cross-sectional approach. The population of this study were all patients at the Cardiology poly of Sakinah Islamic Hospital at Mojokerto with an average of 1520 patients per month. Samples were taken by using simple random sampling technique as many as 304 respondents. Data were collected using a questionnaire instrument and tested with multiple linear regression. The results showed that partially and simultaneously independent variables (communication and service quality) affected the dependent variable (patient loyalty) which was indicated by a significance value = 0.000 < = 0.05 so that H1 was accepted, meaning that there was an influence between communication and service quality on patient loyalty. . This shows that the better the communication and service quality, the more loyal patients will be to the hospital.
