Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the diversity of insects associated to the cultivation of strawberries in Rurukan village of Tomohon. The sampling method used in this study is a relative method. Insect samples obtained from the arrest through some of pit fall traps and yellow sticky traps, were collected, counted and categorized to be identified. The diversity values calculated using the Shannon-Wiener diversity index (H) and Pielou evenness index (E). The results showed that insects caught in pit fall traps there are four of the Order is the order Hymenoptera, Coleoptera, Diptera and Orthoptera while insects found in yellow sticky traps consists of seven orders of 26 families and 27 species of insects. The seventh order of insects found are of the order Thysanoptera, Diptera, Hymenoptera, Coleoptera, Homoptera. Hemiptera, and Lepidoptera. Insects dominated by the order Diptera comprising 11 species (41%), Hymenoptera 10 species (37%), Hemiptera 2 types (7%) and the order Homoptera, Thysanoptera and Lepidoptera each 1 species (4%). The diversity index value of insects in the first and second observation is H '= 2.46 and H' = 2,45, or in other words that environmental conditions on strawberry plants in the village Rurukan in a state of being. While the value of the Evenness index (E ') to the first observation is E' = 0.79 and the second E '= 0.75. The results showed that the community of insects found on strawberry plants in rural areas Rurukan in stable condition with insects uniform

Abstract

ABSTRACT  This study aimed to analyze whether the population, agricultural land area and economic growth affected the inequality of income distribution in North Sulawesi.  Results of themultiple linear regression analysis gave the coefficient of determination (R2) of 92.3 %.  which included population, land area of agriculture and economic growth as independent variables.  Furthermore, from the three independent variables, only population and economic growth gave significant effect to the Gini Ratio. Judging from the direction of the impact, an increase in economic growth would lower the Gini Ratio, while an increase in the population would also increase the Gini Ratio inNorth Sulawesi. keywords : Income Distribution

Abstract

ABSTRACT The problems of the reseach are how the description and comparison of the inflation rate in the city of Manado and rural areas in North Sulawesi, and how the influence of the inflation rate of each expenditure to the general inflation rate in the city and rural areas. The research was conducted in the city of Manado North Sulawesi for 3 (three) months. The data used is inflation data from January 2009 to December 2014, which analyzed qualitative, and quantitative descriptive in the statistical analysis using different test average analysis and multiple linear regression. The results showed that the average inflation rate for rural areas is relatively high compared with urban areas. seven groups of grouping expenditure in the inflation calculation period 2009-2014 showed that there are four groups that the inflation average rate is higher in cities than in rural, which includes foodstuffs, housing, electricity, gas and fuel; education, recreation and sports; and group transport, communications and financial services. The rest, three other groups show the average inflation rate in the city is lower than in rural areas, which include: food, beverages, cigarettes and tobacco; clothing; and health groups. The inflation rate in the city of Manado produce the same patterns with the rate of inflation in the rural areas. The rate of general inflation both in the city of Manado and rural areas is strongly influenced by the inflation rate of seven groups of expenditure for goods and services which consist of foodstuffs, food, clothing, housing, health, education and transport. Keyword : Inflation Rate, Expenditure Groups.
