Abstract

Musyawarah desa merupakan forum krusial dalam pengambilan keputusan yang melibatkan masyarakat secara langsung. Namun, partisipasi masyarakat dalam musyawarah desa masih rendah yaitu menghadapi tantangan, seperti kurangnya sosialisasi, akses informasi terbatas, dan kesadaran yang rendah akan pentingnya keterlibatan dalam pembangunan desa. Padahal masyarakat merupakan subjek dan objek pembangunan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi strategi yang diterapkan pemerintah desa untuk meningkatkan partisipasi masyarakat dalam musyawarah desa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi, untuk menggali faktor keberhasilan serta kendala yang dihadapi dalam implementasi strategi tersebut. Berbeda dengan penelitian sebelumnya yang cenderung membahas faktor-faktor umum yang mempengaruhi partisipasi, penelitian ini berfokus pada strategi konkret dan efektivitasnya. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan rekomendasi yang lebih spesifik dan terukur bagi pemerintah desa dalam meningkatkan keterlibatan masyarakat secara aktif dan berkelanjutan, sehingga berkontribusi pada pembangunan desa yang inklusif dan partisipatif.

Abstract

This journal discusses the MBKM work program entitled increasing the institutional capacity of Karang Taruna in Olaia Village, Aesesa District, Nagekeo Regency. The main focus of this activity is to overcome the low level of youth participation and strengthen Karang Taruna organization so that it can function effectively in supporting village development, social welfare the and reducing social problems. The methods used include analyzing the needs of the community and Karang Taruna administrators, implementing socialization activities, lectures, discussions, and direct assistance in the field, especially in the village office and the surrounding environment. This activity aims to increase the knowledge, skills, and motivation of administrators and youth members to be more active in participating in organizational activities. Initial results show an increase in youth understanding and interest in the role of the organization, which is expected to strengthen the role of Karang Taruna in village development and reduce social problems for youth. This article emphasizes the importance of policy support from the village government and active community participation in the success of youth empowerment at the village level, and suggests the need for program sustainability and periodic evaluation to ensure long-term success.

Abstract

The development of cultural tourism in Ngegedhawe Village prioritizes the use of local wisdom and tradition as the main attraction. The main issue in the development of cultural tourism in Ngegedhawe Village which prioritizes tradition and local wisdom is how to incorporate cultural values ​​and traditional practices of the community into attractive tourism products and experiences without sacrificing the authenticity and sustainability of the cultural heritage. This study aims to identify the potential for cultural and natural tourism, as well as the constraints in its management. The methods applied include socialization, interactive discussions, and training for the community. The findings show that active community involvement in tourism development can improve welfare and maintain the sustainability of cultural heritage. Through a collaborative approach, it is hoped that the tourism sector in Ngegedhawe can grow sustainably without harming local values.

Abstract

Jawapogo Village, Mauponggo District, Nagekeo Regency has faced two main problems. The problems faced are lack of skills and inability to access optimal economic resources, especially in terms of utilizing local potential such as candlenut fruit. The purpose of this community service is to encourage Dasawisma groups to improve family financial welfare. Observation, socialization, discussion, and skills training for Dasawisma mothers are all techniques used. This activity is carried out in four main stages, namely starting with preparation and observation to determine community needs, then Dasawisma mothers also learn about the importance of managing economic resources and talking about existing problems. Skills training concentrates on making candlenut oil and other value-added products from candlenut fruit. The results of the program show that the knowledge and skills of Dasawisma mothers on how to process candlenuts have increased. This has a positive impact on family income and community economic independence. Therefore, this empowerment program not only improves the economy but also helps women become part of village decision-making and creates new sustainable business opportunities.

Abstract

Etu traditional boxing is a type of martial art similar to boxing, but with differences from traditional boxing. A young man who participates in etu does not want to win, but rather to demonstrate his mental and spiritual readiness as a strong indigenous man. He learns to control his emotions, manage his anger, and most importantly, uphold brotherhood. The background of this research is the decreasing participation of the younger generation in the traditional boxing tradition (etu) of the Nataia tribe in Olaia Village, Nagekeo Regency, which can threaten the continuity of local culture. Traditional leaders play a crucial role as guardians of values, motivators of participation, and managers of cultural heritage in preserving the etu tradition. This study aims to describe and analyze the important role of traditional leaders in maintaining this tradition. The method used is a qualitative research approach with a case study approach. Data were collected through interviews and documentation, then analyzed descriptively-thematically. The research findings indicate that traditional leaders are active in maintaining the values ​​and meaning of etu, encouraging the participation of the younger generation, and maintaining traditional facilities and locations. This role is crucial for maintaining cultural identity and ensuring the sustainability of traditions amidst changing times.

Abstract

Inflasi menjadi tantangan utama bagi stabilitas ekonomi di Provinsi Papua Tengah, khususnya Kabupaten Nabire. Ketergantungan pada pasokan luar, minimnya infrastruktur logistik, dan rendahnya kapasitas produksi lokal menjadi faktor pendorong inflasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis faktor- faktor penyebab inflasi di Nabire tahun 2024 serta peran mekanisme pasar dalam pengendalian harga. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif studi kasus dengan data sekunder dari BPS dan literatur terkait. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan inflasi tahunan sebesar 7,58%, didominasi oleh kelompok kebutuhan pokok sebesar 6,29%. Faktor utama meliputi ketergantungan pasokan luar dan tingginya biaya distribusi.Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya perbaikan infrastruktur dan penguatan produksi lokal. Penelitian merekomendasikan kolaborasi antara pemerintah, pelaku usaha, dan masyarakat guna memperkuat ketahanan ekonomi di Papua Tengah

Abstract

The use of gadgets among elementary school students has become an inseparable part of everyday life. Although technology offers educational benefits and wide access to information, its uncontrolled use can have negative impacts, in the form of addiction and the spread of cyberbullying cases. Various examples of cyberbullying actions are (1) spreading gossip or embarrassing personal information, (2) sending rude or threatening messages, (3) creating fake accounts to badmouth others, (4) creating content that mocks or insults. The driving factors for the spread of cyberbullying are (1) environmental influences, (2) imitation in the use of Facebook, (3) cyberbullying does not understand the impact of using social networks, (4) lack of attention from parents and teachers. This service aims to analyze the role of schools, including principals, teachers, and school committees, in encouraging the positive use of gadgets and the efforts made to overcome cyberbullying and social media ethics in elementary school environments.

Abstract

Pengawasan dalam pengelolaan anggran atau keuangan Ditetapkannya Undang-undang nomor 6 Tahun 2014 tentang Desa, desa diberikan mandat mengurus tata kelola pemerintahan serta pelaksanaan pembangunan di desa. Sumber dana yang begitu besar diberikan pemerintah pusat kepada desa untuk mengelola segala potensi desa guna peningkatkan perekonomian dan kesejahteraan masyarakat, pelaksanaan pengelolaan keuangan desa harus berdasarkan azas transparan, akuntabel, partisipatif, tertib dan disiplin anggaran. Untuk menciptakan tata kelola keuangan desa yang bersih, transparan, akuntabel, efektif dan efisien, Badan Pengawas Keuangan dan Pembangunan (BPKP) dan Ditjen Bina Pemerintah Desa Kementerian Dalam Negeri bekerjasama membuat aplikasi yang disebut Sistem Keuangan Desa (Siskeudes) dalam mengelola anggaran yang ada di desa. Hal ini bertujuan untuk membantu pemerintah desa lebih mandiri dalam mengelola keuangan desa secara efektif dan efisien, serta meningkatkan transparansi dalam akuntabilitas keuangan desa. Adapun faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi pengelolaan keuangan desa seperti kepemimpinan, sumber daya manusia, komitmen dan komunikasi.

Abstract

This study aims to assess the contribution and identify the various challenges faced by the Regional Office of the Regional Representative Council of the Republic of Indonesia (DPD RI) in East Nusa Tenggara Province as a supporting system for the implementation of the constitutional duties of DPD RI members. The method used in this study is a qualitative approach with a descriptive research type. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and document analysis, which were then analyzed through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings of this study indicate that the role of the DPD RI Office in East Nusa Tenggara Province has not been functioning optimally. This is reflected in weak administrative support due to limited facilities and infrastructure, as well as dependence on central government policies. In addition, cooperation between the secretariat and DPD RI members has not been maximized due to the low frequency of communication and member visits to the region. The function as an activity facilitator has also not been carried out consistently because it is highly dependent on the presence of DPD RI members. On the other hand, the effectiveness of the institution’s performance is still far from expectations due to limited funding, lack of authority, and the strong influence of central government policies. The conclusion of this study shows that there is a need for more decentralized organizational reforms, increased resource support, and strengthened coordination and institutional capacity so that regional DPD RI offices can optimize their functions in representing local interests

Abstract

This community service activity was carried out with the aim of increasing the knowledge and active involvement of Karang Taruna members in the administration of government in Maukeli Village, Mauponggo District, Nagekeo Regency. One of the problems faced is the low participation of youth in village government affairs, which is caused by a low understanding of the functions and important roles of Karang Taruna. For this reason, this service was carried out through various methods such as socialization, group discussions, and short training involving village officials, community leaders, and Karang Taruna members. The material presented included the role of Karang Taruna in village development, involvement in planning and implementing village programs, and strengthening the capacity of youth organizations. The results of this activity showed an increase in knowledge and enthusiasm of youth in supporting village programs, as well as a joint commitment to improve cooperation between Karang Taruna and the village government in a sustainable manner. It is hoped that through this socialization, Karang Taruna can function effectively as a strategic partner for the village government in creating participatory, inclusive, and sustainable development.
