Abstract

The document unit of PT KAI (Persero) Daop 2 Bandung has tasks and functions in managing company documents. One of the document management activities is storage. The file storage is inefficient because it is not stored centrally, and searching in the file explorer can only be done based on the document file name, resulting in a lengthy search process. To help overcome this issue, a Microsoft Access-based official document storage application has been developed. In addition to serving as a centralized storage location, this application also facilitates quick searches, generates reports based on document types, and includes applicant data forms. The application was developed using the waterfall method, which involved requirement analysis, design, development, testing, and implementation stages. The Microsoft Access-based official document storage application has an attractive interface, is user-friendly, has fast response times, includes a security system, and most importantly, can store document data centrally within a single application. Further development may involve adding additional features.

Abstract

Rumah BUMN Bandung is the home for the development of MSMEs in all business actors in Bandung Raya. According to the current needs of every business actor and community, they have started to be literate with the needs of information technology. This project intends to produce website creation. The project design method is carried out with the help of the WordPress Content Management System (CMS) so that the Rumah BUMN Bandung website can be used as an information medium for company profiles. The stages of project implementation are also carried out in stages; starting from planning, design, development, testing, responsive web design (RWD) and deploying. The final stage, namely post-implementation, is carried out by reviewing the impact of the project through final interviews and distributing questionnaires. The results of reviewing the impact of the project through a questionnaire obtained the mean results for each variable; website quality, information quality, and interaction quality, are included in the very good criteria and are also supported by the results of website performance testing which are included in the optimal criteria.

Abstract

Pos Indonesia is a State-Owned Enterprise (BUMN) that takes part in courier services, logistics, and financial transactions that make PT Pos Indonesia (Persero). The output of the Electronic Service Note (NDE) digital application used today has not met the needs of weekly and monthly reporting, the digital application used has not been grouped based on the needs of weekly and monthly reports at PT Pos Indonesia (Persero). There are still ambiguous names of senders and recipients of letters because the old position account and the new position account are not directly grouped according to the position but still use the name of the old and new account owner due to the transfer of the account owner to the new position. This makes this project a follow-up application of that output to manage Reports. The design and creation of this Microsoft Access-based information system is intended to assist the Administrative Governance Section in managing Incoming Outgoing Mail Reports. The result of this project is the creation of an incoming and outgoing mail database tool that is more effective and efficient in making weekly or monthly reporting that has been tested to users. From the results of the trial, it shows that this tool is considered very good and as needed in making weekly or monthly reporting because it is enough to import existing mail data in the NDE without the need to classify letters one by one because this tool created a database whose job is to classify letters automatically and the use of incoming and outgoing mail queries, Union queries, and crosstab queries whose job is to generate weekly or monthly reports. Abstract

Payment transactions at sederhana restaurant are still done manually so they are less effective and efficient. Using this manual method is prone to errors in calculating the amount of payment, it takes some time to write proof of payment transactions using notes, it is difficult to control food stocks and sales reports that still use books. Android is one of today's advanced technologies that has many functions. The Inikasir application is a system created to make it easier for companies to make payment transactions. The purpose of this research is to design the Inikasir application as an Android-based payment transaction medium that has a function to make it easier for users to calculate transactions automatically, store sales report data and generate payment receipts. more quickly and efficiently. This application is made using flutter framework and Android Studio. System testing uses black box testing which aims to find out if an application can run properly according to the functions expected before. In addition, testing was carried out on cashier employees and rice shop owners to find out the state of sales transactions before and after the application. The results of this test state that using the Inikasir application as an Android-based payment transaction medium makes payment transactions and viewing sales reports faster. Abstract

An electronic filing system is something that is needed by companies as a record keeping of their archives. The condition of archives management in the Admin and Secretariat division of PT XYZ itself is currently not optimal, meanwhile archives are urgently needed to ensure the continuity of operational activities. Archive documents that have not been optimally arranged in filing cabinets make it difficult to retrieve archives and take around 10 to 15 minutes if at any time the archives are needed. This project aims to make an update from manual archives to website-based electronic archives which are solutions and innovations aimed at making 3the filing system more effective and efficient. With the waterfall method this application will assist in the process of managing records and provide information on archive category reports in the Admin and Secretarial Division and make it easier to find archives again. After testing, it was discovered that the website-based electronic filing application that was implemented was in accordance with the needs of both the manager and the website user because it makes work easier and shortens the time to manage and obtain archival information. Abstract

Inventory management is a crucial aspect in the business world. To achieve effective inventory management, a proper inventory information system is need. However, many companies, especially SMEs, still rely on conventional inventory management systems. Additionally, the layoutof storage also affects inventory control. The right layout can improve work efficiency and space utilization. Sans Boxer, an SME company engaged in clothing, faces ssues in inventory control. Some problems encountered include unrecorded transaction, innacurate stock information, limited storage, capacity, and difficulties in storing and retrieving items. To address these probles, a project was created for an inventory information and the design on storage layout. The inventory information system was develop as a Microsoft Access application designed using the PIECES method. Meanwhile, the sotrage layout was designed using the Shared Storage method, considering the available space for optimal utilization. This project resulted in an inventory information system based on Microsoft Access and a design for the storage layout. Based on the inventory system’s testing results, improvements were observed in inventory control, including enhanced employee performance, easier access to information, reduced inventory costs, better control, improved work efficiency, and enhanced customer service.The proposed storage layout design can increase the storage capacity to 4500 pcs, compared to the initial capacity of 1500 pcs. Abstract

Information regarding incoming and outgoing mail is very important for companies to make decisions on the work being carried out, mistakes often occur when searching for archival data because the filing system is not detailed and irregular, therefore changes need to be made to the filing system so that it can manage data and information according to company needs. PT Felixindo Jaya Perkasa has an electronic filing system in the form of a sheet in Microsoft Excel, but the electronic archive does not include complete information so that the process of searching for archival data is not effective and efficient. Changes to the filing system are made with consideration of the effectiveness and efficiency of using the system, Visual Basic Application/VBA in Microsoft Excel can be used as a basis for making new filing system applications. VBA works with the Microsoft Excel program language which is then compiled into a company filing system application, the application is used to input incoming and outgoing mail data, and search for and delete data on company system applications so that the use of the filing system can be more effective and efficient.

Abstract

Technological advances that are happening at this time are of benefit to many groups, one of which is businessman. Advances in technology make it easy for businessman to market their products or services. As a result of this convenience, many UMKM have sprung up, including in Cimahi City. Many new businesses have started to emerge including coffee shops or cafes. The many appearances of these coffee shops make the competition even tighter. Eltabo Coffee, which is located in Cimahi City, is one of the new coffee shops. Intense competition and the foreign name Eltabo Coffee among the people of Cimahi City, caused Eltabo Coffee to experience a decline in income. To overcome these problems, this Final Project was made with the aim of knowing how the initial conditions of promotional media from Eltabo Coffee, to find out how to make website-based promotional media using CMS WordPress, and to find out the results of implementing website-based promotional media on Eltabo Coffee using CMS WordPress. The implementation of this project applies the SDLC method which consists of the planning, analysis, design, and implementation stages. The results of making this website-based media promotion show a very good value, namely an assessment of the website from the owner of Eltabo Coffee as well as from the results of the questionnaire. In addition, there were 9 new customers who visited Eltabo Coffee Cimahi after visit the Eltabo Coffee website and there was an increase in sales in the second and third weeks of May, namely 23 cups. Trials by the admin have been carried out by changing photos on the Menu page.

Abstract

Document archiving is something that is often done by every company, one of which is PT Nusantara Turbine and Propulsion. Document archiving at PT Nusantara Turbine and Propulsion, especially in the Aero Engines Sales and Trading Division, still uses conventional systems. Therefore, the process of searching for documents can take quite a long time. In addition, there is a case experienced by secretaries, namely the loss of archives. This loss of archives is caused by borrowing archives. To overcome this problem, an electronic archive system was created that can store and display information about archives. The system can also record the data of the person who borrowed the archive. In this case, the application that supports the process of designing and creating the system is Microsoft Access. System design and creation can be started from DFD Level 0 and Level 1 and ERD design. As for the creation is done in Microsoft Access which starts from creating tables, forms, reports to queries. The results of the project are the front page, login form, main menu, data input menu, report menu and document search. All features that have been made are tested to the secretary as a user of SAEDPB. The results of the trial were declared acceptable because there were no obstacles when operating. With the search feature and storage of documents in the form of soft files, it is expected to help secretaries in rediscovering archives easily and quickly. This is supported by several studies that say that electronic records management can make it easier for someone when archiving and rediscovering archives. Abstract

ABSTRAK Interkoneksi mesin dan manusia ke Internet of Things (IoT), yang didorong oleh tren otomatisasi dan pertukaran data dengan sistem siber-fisik, akan mendorong kreativitas dan inovasi di berbagai bidang. Salah satu bidang yang menarik secara khusus adalah administrasi arsip yang bergerak menjauh dari media konvensional dan menuju penyimpanan dan manajemen elektronik. Dalam konteks ini, studi literatur dilakukan sebagai pendekatan metodologis. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendapatkan wawasan tentang potensi desain sistem arsip untuk menyediakan kerangka kerja yang komprehensif untuk manajemen arsip yang efektif dan sistematis. Arsip disimpan di setiap bagian dengan membagi kelompok kerja, templat lembar kerja, lembar kerja, dan mendesain bidang untuk setiap lembar kerja. Hal ini memudahkan penyimpanan dan pencarian arsip. Dari penjelasan mengenai laporan proyek perancangan sistem pengarsipan elektronik di PT Multi Garmenjaya, didapatkan bahwa perancangan sistem pengarsipan di perusahaan ini dengan menggunakan Image Ware Scan Manager memberikan kemudahan dalam mengarsipkan dokumen, sehingga mengefisiensikan kegiatan operasional perusahaan. Adanya perancangan sistem kearsipan ini setidaknya akan memberikan gambaran secara umum mengenai pengelolaan arsip yang baik dan teratur. Kata Kunci: Kearsipan Elektronik, Manajemen Arsip, Perusahaan, Teknologi Digital ABSTRACT The interconnection of machines and humans to the Internet of Things (IoT), driven by trends in automation and data exchange with cyber-physical systems, will drive creativity and innovation in various fields. One area of particular interest is records administration which is moving away from conventional media and towards electronic storage and management. In this context, a literature study was conducted as a methodological approach. The purpose of this study was to gain insight into the potential of archive system design to provide a comprehensive framework for effective and systematic archive management. Records are stored in each section by dividing work groups, worksheet templates, worksheets, and designing fields for each worksheet. This makes it easier to store and search archives. From the explanation of the project report on the design of an electronic filing system at PT Multi Garmenjaya, it is found that the design of the filing system in this company using Image Ware Scan Manager provides convenience in archiving documents, thereby streamlining the company's operational activities. The existence of this archiving system design will at least provide an overview of good and organized archive management.
