Abstract

This study aims to determine the perception of historical education students at Syiah Kuala University (USK) towards online learning in terms of several indicators, namely learning materials and evaluation questions, community, online lecturers, collaboration opportunities, and multimedia. The approach used in this research is a qualitative approach with the type of phenomenological research. The subjects of this research were USK history education students batch 2018. Data collection was carried out by interview. Data analysis techniques with data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that the materials and evaluation questions were available and could be downloaded by students. Have a community to learn and discuss together. Students are more inclined to video conference-based media in the implementation of online learning, namely Google Meet with Google Classroom as a forum for collecting assignments. The use of media has not been maximized.

Abstract

Management of human resources (HR) by the company needs to be done to avoid turnover intention or the desire to move that arises from employees. This study aims to determine the relationship and influence of organizational environment, organizational commitment, leadership, and job satisfaction on employee turnover intention at PT. X. The research was conducted by giving questionnaires to the entire population of 37 employees of PT. X. Statistical analysis used is Multiple Linear Regression Analysis which allows to determine the relationship and the magnitude of the influence between variables. The results of the study at a significance level of 5% indicate that the organizational environment, organizational commitment, leadership, and job satisfaction have a negative and significant effect on employee turnover intention at PT. X either simultaneously, or partially. The independent variable can explain the dependent variable (turnover intention) of 70.1% and the remaining 29.9% are other factors that can affect employee turnover intention.

Abstract

This study aims to measure the company's performance and see the opportunities and challenges that exist outside the company in order to obtain alternative strategies to achieve company goals. Researchers measure the performance of PT. Fajar Surya by looking at the actual achievements of the company's important indicators. The indicators used are the perspective of finance, customers, internal business processes, growth, and learning combined with the external side of the company through the TOWS analysis method. This is an update (novelty) from previous studies that only used the BSC concept. The results of the research show that there are several strengths and weaknesses as well as opportunities and challenges that can be formulated to become alternative strategies. This research is expected to provide input regarding a comprehensive performance appraisal system for companies and additional empirical evidence regarding the concept of performance measurement with a combination of BSC and TOWS.

Abstract

In recent years, the number of cases of bullying has increased, both by reenagers at the junior high and high school levels. In Indonesia, there are also many cases of bullying that occur in various places. Acts of violence committed by a group of classmates, in the form of beatings, kicks and ridicule. The types of bullying that are carried out also vary, there are verbal, non-verbal, and cyber bullying. Bullying behavior develops rapidly in the school environment and often gives negative input to students, for example in the form of punisments thet are not constructive so as not to develop a sense of respect and respect among fellow school members. Some chilren engage in bullying behavior in an attempt to prove that they can belong to a certain group, even though they themselves feel uncomfortable with this behavior. Bullying that is done continuously can cause trauma, fear, depression, anxiety, and even death. Bullying can have a negative impact on both the perpetrator and the victim. Bullying can result in physical and mental health of emotional problems, inculding depressions and and anxiety, which can lead to decreased performance in school and other deviant behavior. The purpose of this community service is to provide students with an understanding of bullying behavior, forms of bullying and their impacts, so that students are able to eliminate the culture of bullying in everyday interactions.

Abstract

Artikel ini berjudul “Pengaruh Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Srudem Facilitator And Explaining (SFAE) Terhadap Prestasi Belajar Mata Pelajaran Sejarah Siswa Kelas X SMAN 3 Banda Aceh”.. Dengan mengangkat masalah bagaimana pengaruh hasil belajar siswa dengan model pembelajaran konvensional dan dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif Student Facilitator And Kxplaining (SFAE) yang diterapkan kepada siswa di SMAN 8 Banda Aceh dan seberapa besarkah pengaruh penggunaan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Studem Facilitator And Explaining (SFAE) terhadap prestasi belajar siswa mata pelajaran sejarah di SMAN 8 Banda Aceh.Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk untuk memperoleh data tentang perbandingan hasil belajar siswa dengan model pembelajaran konvensional dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Student Facilitator And Explaining (SFAE) yang diterapkan kepada siswa di SMAN 8 Banda Aceh dan untuk mengetahui seberapa besarkah pengaruh penggunaan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Student Facilitator And Explaining (SFAE) terhadap prestasi belajar siswa mata pelajaran sejarah di SMAN 8 Banda Aceh.Metode yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data adalah metode eksperimen (percobaan) dengan cara mengajarkan materi dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional dan dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Student Facilitator and Explaining (SFAE).

Abstract

The current phenomenon is that there are many cases where biological fathers marry off extra-marital daughters, one of the factors being that the girl's parents did not inform her that the child was the result of extra-marital affairs (adultery). The madzab imams (Hanafi, Maliki, Hanbali, Shafi'i) differ in their opinions about the law of marrying off a girl by her biological father. The research objective to be achieved in this journal is how the law of marrying off a girl out of wedlock by her biological father according to Imam Shafi'i. Imam Shafi'i argues that the law of marriage of a girl by her biological father is invalid. If a woman and a man marry and a child is born alive and in perfect form before six months, as well as if the child is born after more than six months of marriage but the woman knows that the child existed before the marriage took place, then the child cannot be attributed nasab on behalf of his biological father. The focus of this study is on how Imam Syafi'i's opinion on the law of marrying a girl out of wedlock by her biological father.

Abstract

The development of globalization has a significant impact on changes in various aspects of the lives of Indonesian people today and even throughout the world. One of the effects of globalization is that it provides convenience in accessing all information in the world, both about culture, education, politics and others. Therefore, in following up on the collaboration between the University of Pamulang (UNPAM) and the Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP), which is followed by the collaboration of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, the PPKn Study Program will hold a web seminar (webar) on culture, educational policies and the democratic system that growing in Indonesia and the Philippines. This activity is carried out in a video conference platform (webinar). This international community service (PKM) aims to: a) Increase knowledge about Cultural Diversity in Indonesia and the Philippines; b) Improve the ability to understand about Cultural Diversity in Indonesia and the Philippines; c) Raising awareness of the importance of understanding medium-sized Cultural Diversity in Indonesia and the Philippines; d) Instilling concern for Cultural Diversity in Indonesia and the Philippines; e) Improve the ability to implement understanding of Cultural Diversity in their respective environments; f) Instilling awareness about the Cultural Diversity learning model in Indonesia and the Philippines.

Abstract

This research is attracted by a situation where the students’ have no idea to speak in public or unable to convey the message to the listeners effectively, speaking skill still using long note and teaching media that do not help enough the students to speak well. This research aims to improve students’ speaking skill at XI IPS 1 SMAN 9 Bungo. The purposes becoming more creative and can easily remember what to say in front of their classmate by using mind mapping teaching media. This research was classroom action research. The actions are implemented in two cycles based on the class schedule. This research involved the 21 students of class XI IPS 1 SMAN 9 Bungo in the academic year of 2020/2021 and the English teacher as the research collaborator. The data of the study were in the forms of qualitative and quantitative data. The result shows that there are increasing of students’ in speaking skill. In the first cycle, it can be known that among 21 students’ who got scores pass the school standard KKM is 9 students’ or 43% meanwhile students’ which do not complete yet is 12 students or 57%. Meanwhile, in the second cycle it can be seen that among of 21 students’ who got scores above than the standard criteria minimum is 16 students’ or 76% meanwhile students’ which do not complete yet is 5 students or 24%.

Abstract

Being an entrepreneur is an attempt of activating Indonesian economic wheel. In the attempt of empowering creativity and innovation, the entrepreneurs are expected to grow into employers who can open job opportunities in various business sectors. This community service activity is entitled a digital-based entrepreneurship training to realize millennial generation with young entrepreneur spirit. This title was chosen based on the factual condition of people today characterized with the increased unemployment rate disproportional to the job opportunity availability. The problems encountered by participants are limited information and experience supporting the digital-based entrepreneurial activities, and limited knowledge on the detail of digital-based entrepreneurship, leading to the limited number of alumni and graduates choosing to be entrepreneurs. This activity aims to improve skill and to create digital-based young entrepreneurs to the participants in the partner location. The basic output with target to be achieved is the created independent business community having digital-based entrepreneurial skill. This community service was implemented in the form of entrepreneurship training and facilitation. The partner in this activity includes the students of Faculty of Business  Economy of Universitas Tunas Pembangunan (UTP) Surakarta. Twenty (20) participants participated in this activity. Evaluation was conducted using questionnaire distributed to the participants aiming to find out the students’ understanding on the implementation of training and interview. The result achieved in the end of community service activity is the improved understanding and skill of participants concerning digital-based entrepreneurship that can be indicated with the number of startups established by the participants.

Abstract

Sejak bulan Maret 2020 telah diberlakukan pembelajaran dari rumah. Guru juga melakukan pembelajaran dari rumah (teaching from home) dan pandemi Covid-19 telah mengubah paradigma pembelajaran di kelas. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu mengetahui bagaimana pembelajaran IPS untuk SD/MI ditengah pandemi baik dalam daring/luring pada sekolah MI AT-Taubah di Kabupaten Sampang. Metode dalam Penelitian ini menggunakan  kualitatif dengan pendekatan penelitian phenomenologi, namun demikian pelaksanaan pembelajaran daring dan luring memiliki tantangan/kendala baik dari aspek sumber daya manusia maupun dari sarana dan prasarana. Pada pembelajaran yang diterapkan baik luring dan daring, pada MI At-taubah lebih sering menggunakan metode luring, karna lebih efektif apalagi di pembelajaran. Kendala yang di alami saat ini yaitu jika menerapkan metode daring untuk di daerah pelosok yang sulit akan kuota dan jaringan. Sebagian dari orang tua murid tidak memiliki WA, akan tetapi sekolah mengupayakan untuk membuat group via WAG bagi kelas tinggi dan alhamdulillah berjalan dengan normal, jika untuk kelas rendah tidak cukup efektif.
