Abstract

Gastrointestinal endoscopy involves the examination of the mucous membranes of the esophagus, stomach, and duodenum using an instrument equipped with a camera to provide visual images. This procedure has numerous clinical applications, including accurate diagnosis and effective guidance for upper gastrointestinal tract conditions. Insufficient patient knowledge about the impending procedure, potential procedural side effects, or anticipated examination outcomes can lead to heightened anxiety of the patient. This study aims to assess the level of anxiety in patients undergoing gastroscopy. An observational analytical study was conducted using a cross-sectional design, based on the Hamilton Anxiety Rating Scale (HARS) questionnaire. Moderate anxiety was found in 25 individuals (50%) among patients undergoing gastroscopy with local anesthesia. Meanwhile, among patients undergoing gastroscopy with general anesthesia, 15 individuals (30%) exhibited mild anxiety, and 5 individuals (10%) had moderate anxiety. There is a discernible difference in anxiety levels between patients undergoing elective gastroscopy with general anesthesia and those receiving local anesthesia.

Abstract

The banking business sector has a vital role and function in economic development in Indonesia. Theoretically, the bank has a role as an agent of trust, which means that a bank as a financial institution carries out every operational activity based on trust in raising and channelling funds. Furthermore, it can be understood that the sustainability of the banking industry is very dependent on public trust; if public trust decreases, it will result in a bank experiencing a crisis. This study analyzes data quantitatively, with the design of this study namely testing the existing hypotheses to find out the effect of Financial Distress as the dependent variable. The t-test results prove that the variable Institutional Ownership (IC) has no significant effect on financial distress. Company data published on the Indonesia Stock Exchange concludes that the variables KI, KM, ROA, KI*Size, and KM*SIZE positively affect financial distress. Management is expected to be able to continue to innovate and develop technology correctly and in a planned manner, besides that management must also be able to manage the company's financial performance properly so that it can make the right decisions in carrying out the company's operational activities so that financial distress does not occur.

This study uses a combination of two models, namely UTAUT2 and Delone and Mclean Information Systems which are used to identify the factors that influence the use of the KPR Mobile Application. Data were obtained from 286 respondents who are customers of PT ABC. Then it will be analyzed using SMART PLS software version 3.3.9. Abstract

Freedom of speech and expression must be accompanied by ethics and sensitivity when a message is delivered. Otherwise, the purpose of delivering the message may fail-the presence of rejection and adverse reactions from people who read or receive messages. The tragedy at Kanjuruhan stadium can be seen from various aspects: communication ethics, especially in speaking, thinking, and behaving. Second, based on the spiral of silence theory, discourse debates give rise to a diversity of opinions that will eventually narrow down to a single phase of silence. Using Literature Review, this study will explain various things from the wealth of opinions circulating in the community through Twitter and online media from 01 October – 14 October 2022.

Abstract

Up to this point, Indonesian political machinery has experienced cyclical instability dating back to the Orde Lama and Reformasi. Perpolitikan semakin mendekati iklim yang lebih demokratis dalam konteks era reformasi ini. Despite this, Indonesia continues to experience a period of democratic transition. Pemilihan Umum Kepala Daerah (Pemilukada) is the primary tool used by democratic mechanisms to create kepemimpinan in a certain region. After several years in Rezim Orde Baru's environment, where he failed to provide the populace with the opportunity to express their own opinions, Pemilukada was steadfastly adopted as a democratic path in the process of choosing the new head of state. There will be a strong focus on national and local politics in Indonesia starting in the year 2024, known as Pemilu and Pemilukada, respectively. In this article, we will explain how political dynamics operate in the current political climate

Abstract

Staphylococcus aureus and Streptococcus pneumoniae are the most common bacterial infections in humans. Efforts to control using penicillin antibiotics tend to cause resistance and side effects, so people prefer to overcome them by self-medication or using traditional ingredients such as banana peels. This study aims to determine whether there is antibacterial activity of kepok banana peels against Staphylococcus aureus and Streptococcus pneumoniae bacteria. Methods: This research is an experimental study with the type of Post Test Only Control Group Design with the well method. Results: The average diameter of the inhibition zone on Staphylococcus aureus was 7,60 mm, 6,43 mm and 5,33 mm at concentrations of 100%, 75% and 50% respectively. And the average diameter of the inhibition zone on Streptococcus pneumoniae was 7,78 mm, 6,61 mm and 5,46 mm at concentrations of 100%, 75% and 50% respectively. Conclusion: The antibacterial potential of kepok banana peel extract at the overall concentration and the most optimal concentration is 100% where the diameter of the inhibition zone in Staphylococcus aureus is 7,60 mm and in Streptococcus pneumoniae is 7,78 mm.
