Abstract

One of the factors that can affect student learning achievement is the motivational factor. Increasing motivation will increase students' enthusiasm for learning and will ultimately increase student achievement. In contrast to previous studies that examined the direct effect of learning motivation on student achievement, this study added an allowance variable which is believed to moderate these two variables. This research is a quantitative research with an explantory approach. The data used in this research is primary data obtained through a questionnaire on 300 Madrasah Aliyah students who are spread all over Indonesia. The data collected is analyzed through smart PLS 3.0. The results of the study show that the Learning Motivation variable has a positive and significant effect on the Learning Motivation variable. In accordance with the researcher's hypothesis and at the same time being a differentiator from previous studies, the Pocket Money variable can moderate the Learning Motivation variable on Learning Achievement. In fact, there is a more significant shift in values after being moderated compared to direct testing. Abstract

Competency development of the Regional Government Affairs Supervisor (PPUPD) has an important role, because the PPUPD Functional Position is a Civil Servant (PNS) who is given full duties, responsibilities, authorities, rights by the Authorized Official to supervise the implementation of concurrent government affairs. If the PPUPD Functional Position is not competent in carrying out its duties, responsibilities and authorities, individual performance, inspectorate performance will be lower, which has an impact on the vision and mission of government to realize good governance. The problem is, how to develop the competence of the PPUPD Functional Position through a Coaching clinic model that is relevant and effective in producing work competencies that are in accordance with the standards and expectations of the PPUPD Functional Position in supervising the implementation of regional government affairs ? The purpose of this research is to describe the competency level of PPUPD Functional Position based on predetermined competency standards and create a hypothetical model that is relevant and effective for competency development of PPUPD Functional Position. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method with research and development in designing a coaching clinic model that is effectively applied in training institutions. The research findings show that a coaching clinic model is needed to increase the effectiveness of competency development for PPUPD Functional Position with the Goal, Reality, Option, Wrap-Up (GROW) approach, so that there is an increase in the effectiveness of technical competence , especially in risk management material, examination/investigation techniques and forensic examination material which is currently still not optimal.

Abstract

Abstract: The research objectives are to find out the differences in writing skills between students who write essays with mind mapping, and the conventional and the effectiveness of mind mapping in improving student’s writing skills in the 2nd semester of the Accounting study program at Politeknik Unggul LP3M. The research applied Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. Two out of three classes of the population were selected as the research sample randomly namely class AK-AP2A/21 as the control group, and class AK-AP2B/21 as the experimental group. The research instrument used was an essay writing assessment sheet. The validity of the research instrument was content validity and the reliability was calculated by using Cronbach’s Alpha internal consistency technique. The research results show a significant difference in writing essays between students in the experimental group and the control group. The t-test calculation indicates it for the independent sample in the form of a t-count score that is greater than the t-table score (tc=5.506 tt= 1.990) at a 5% level of significance with 70 df. The other research result shows writing essays using mind mapping is more effective than the conventional one. It is indicated by the results of the t-test for paired samples show that the t-score (tc) is 14,636 with 35 df. The t-count score is consulted with the t-table value at a 5% significance level with 35 df. The t-table score (tt) at a 5% significance level with 35 df is 2.031. It shows that the t-count score is greater than the t-table score (tc =14,636 tt = 2,031)
