Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of implementing the discussion method on students' learning outcomes and activeness in the OTHK subject in class XI MPLB at SMKN 1 Karanganyar. This research is a classroom action research with 36 students as the recipients of the intervention, while the participants of the action are the OTHK teachers of class XI MPLB, and the researcher as the subject who observes the learning process. Data collection techniques used in this study include tests, observations, and interviews. The results of the study indicate that: (1) the implementation of the discussion method can improve the learning activeness of class XI MPLB students at SMKN 1 Karanganyar, where the activeness score shows an average percentage increase from 50.31% in cycle I to 79.23% in cycle II.; (2) the implementation of the discussion method can improve the academic achievement of class XI MPLB students at SMKN 1 Karanganyar, as evidenced by the comparison of the learning outcomes in cycle I and II, which showed an increase from 82.29 to 93.43. This is due to the improvement in students' understanding of the subject matter, supported by their increased activeness as a form of improving learning quality. Thus, the overall findings of this analysis support the proposed hypotheses.

Abstract

This research discusses the magnitude of the influence of product quality, price, brand image on purchasing decisions on Iphone brand smartphones. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between price, product quality, and brand image on purchasing decisions for Iphone brand smartphones. This study uses quantitative research using a questionnaire as a research test method. The population in this study were Iphone brand smartphone users in the Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang and Bekasi areas. The sample in this study amounted to 135 respondents. The analytical tool used in this study is multiple linear regression with validity testing using Product Moment correlation and reliability testing using Cronbach Alpha. The findings in this study indicate that all variables used in this study have a positive effect on purchasing decisions. Product quality has a positive effect on purchasing decisions, price has a positive effect on purchasing decisions and brand image has a positive effect on purchasing decisions. The results of this study are expected to provide an overview of the aspects that can influence purchasing decisions on Iphone brand smartphones so that they can be useful for consumers and further research.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of (1) student’s perceptions of teacher pedagogic competence on the learning achievement of students majoring in Office Management in archival subjects at SMK Negeri 6 Surakarta, (2) discipline learning on the learning achievement of students majoring in Office Management in archival subjects at SMK Negeri 6 Surakarta (3) student’s perceptions of teacher pedagogic competence and learning discipline together on the learning achievement of students majoring in Office Management in archival subjects at SMK Negeri 6 Surakarta. This type of research is quantitative research. Data collection is carried out by the distribution of questionnaires. The results of this study show that 1) There is a significant negative influence between student's perceptions of teacher pedagogic competence on student learning achievement in archival subjects of students majoring in office management at SMK Negeri 6 Surakarta in the 2022/2023 school year (tcount (-2,515) < ttable (1,989)) ; 2) There is a positive and significant influence between disciplines learning on student achievement in archival subjects of students majoring in office management at SMK Negeri 6 Surakarta in the 2022/2023 academic year (tcount (2,169) > ttable (1,989)); 3) There is a simultaneous positive and significant influence between 2 – student's perceptions of teacher pedagogic competence and discipline learning on learning achievement (Fhitung (3.679) > Ftabel (3.108))

Abstract

This study aims to examine and test the effect of work discipline, and work motivation mediated by competence on work performance at the Mayor of South Jakarta. Work discipline and work motivation as exogenous variables, competence as mediating variables and work performance as endogenous variables. This research was conducted on civil servants in the Mayor of South Jakarta. The background of this research is the development of human resources which aims to improve the quality of professionalism and the ability of employees to carry out their duties and functions optimally. Things that must be considered in the South Jakarta Mayor's agency such as work discipline, work motivation, competence and work performance. The sample in this study was taken using a purposive sampling method of 175 respondents. The analytical method used is the Structural Equation Model (SEM) and uses Partial Least Square (PLS) to test the strength of the direct and indirect relationship between various variables. The results of this study prove that work discipline affects work performance, motivation influences work performance, competence influences work performance, work discipline influences competence, work motivation influences competence, work discipline influences work performance through competence and work motivation influences performance work through competence.

Abstract

With increasingly intense competition in e-commerce, companies engaged in this business must be able to provide excellent service quality to consumers to maintain customer loyalty, so that customers are willing to make more transactions with these companies. This research examines the effects of service quality, perceived ease of use, perceived value, and customer experience on customer satisfaction in the Sociolla application. This study used primary data collected through an online survey with questionnaires distributed to 125 selected respondents in June - July 2023. The research criteria are consumers aged above 17 years who have made at least one purchase of skincare, makeup, and bodycare products from Sociolla within the last 3 months and domiciled in Jakarta and Tangerang. The analysis method used is multiple linear regression as an inferential tool, this research found that service quality, perceived ease of use, perceived value, and customer experience partially have positive effects and simultaneously affect customer satisfaction.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine: (1) the management of facilities and infrastructure in the OTKP laboratory of SMKN 1 Banyudono, (2) the issues encountered regarding the management of facilities and infrastructure in the OTKP laboratory of SMKN 1 Banyudono, (3) the efforts made to optimize the management of facilities and infrastructure in the OTKP laboratory of SMKN 1 Banyudono. This research is a qualitative descriptive approach study. The sampling techniques used are purposive sampling and snowball sampling. Data collection takes the form of observations, interviews and analysis of documents and archives. The data validity test technique uses source triangulation and technical triangulation and member checking of the data that has been obtained is carried out on all informants. The validity of the data is tested using source triangulation and technique triangulation. Data analysis employs interactive analysis. The results of research in the OTKP laboratory of SMKN 1 Banyudono regarding the management of facilities and infrastructure are as follows:1) management includes a) planning, b) procurement, c) storage, d) maintenance, e) supervision, f) disposal, 2) problems encountered include: a) goods held not in accordance with the proposal, b) delay in the distribution of received items, c) limited laboratory space, d) delay in conducting necessary repairs, e) loss of small items, f) there is no laboratory assistant, g) disposal has not been carried out yet, 3) efforts made for optimization include: a) negotiating the development team meeting, b) submitting the next budget, c) the department proactively checking goods that have been held at TU, d) storing in a place that does not interfere with learning, e) routine and incidental maintenance, f) making regulations for borrowing goods, g) proposing the appointment of laboratory assistants, h) disposal has never been carried out.

Abstract

Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) have an important role in the Indonesian economy. They are not only the main driver of economic growth but also create jobs. In this era of globalization, students have a great opportunity to play an active role in advancing MSMEs, especially through the Independent Entrepreneurship program. This journal discusses the role of students in developing product packaging design at the UD.Pawon Kue Cake Shop, Rungkut Surabaya, as part of the program. The type of method used is descriptive research with a qualitative approach. Descriptive research is a form of data collected in the form of words, images, and not numbers. Qualitative research is research that aims to understand the phenomena experienced by research subjects such as behavior, perceptions, motivations, actions, and so on by means of descriptions in the form of words and language, in a special natural context, and utilizing various natural methods. (Moleong in Anas, 2021). All the data in this research was obtained through literature study by analyzing every reading presented by previous researchers and also the results of practical field work carried out for 2 months at Diva Digital Marketing. The research results show that the role of students in advancing MSMEs by developing packaging designs for cake shop products has a positive impact. Through close collaboration between students and cake shop owners, improvements can be seen in several critical aspects. In the context of developing product packaging designs for cake shops, the role of students proves themselves as a key element in advancing MSMEs. Collaboration between students and cake shop owners not only creates innovative design breakthroughs, but also has a profound positive impact on the business performance and sustainability of cake shops. Through their creativity, students succeeded in creating product packaging designs that were not only aesthetically attractive but also reflected the cake shop's brand identity. This provides a significant competitive advantage, differentiates the product from competitors and attracts consumer attention. Thus, this collaboration contributes to the creation of a strong brand image and higher product appeal.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the development and evaluation of human resource apparatus at the Samarinda City Environment Agency. Human resources (HR) are valuable assets in an organization or agency. Therefore, the human element is the most important element that needs to be managed properly through planning, organizing, directing, monitoring and evaluating, so as to increase devotion, quality, expertise, skills and successful implementation of tasks in an efficient and effective manner in achieving organizational goals. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that the process and evaluation of human resource development of DLH apparatus was still heading towards the process stage of improving skills and knowledge through trainings such as technological guidance and training. In this improvement, obstacles were found in the form of budgeting needed in the implementation of technological guidance training (bimtek) and training. The educational background of employees which creates gaps in the implementation of cooperation, as well as the lack of motivation obtained through the provision of intensive also affect the improvement of the process of developing the quality of human resources in DLH Samarinda City.

In addition to the sustainability aspect, the business also highlights wellness values by using essential oils that can provide psychological and physical benefits. Product uniqueness, attention to detail, and environmental awareness make the used cooking oil aroma therapy candle business an attractive option in a competitive market.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the implementation of file archiving in the finance division of PT Dimensi Citra Semesta. The research utilizes a qualitative descriptive research method with data collection techniques including case studies, observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this research indicate that the implementation of file archiving in the finance division of PT Dimensi Citra Semesta involves six steps: receipt, verification, numbering, grouping, storage, and file disposal. The file archiving process aligns with the ISO 15489-1:2016 standard on records management. The file archiving tools in the finance division of PT Dimensi Citra Semesta consist of both physical and electronic tools. Archiving challenges in the finance division of PT Dimensi Citra Semesta are divided into two categories: internal challenges and external challenges. Internal challenges originate from within the finance division itself, such as space limitations, file damage, input errors, file loss, and others. External challenges come from outside the finance division, such as inappropriate file requests, delayed file deliveries, file format mismatches, and others.
