Abstract

The shipping activity seeks to combine various perspectives such as quality, quantity, welfare satisfaction and safety and security prerequisites related to transportation through the port to the waters.  However, when sailing, the KM. Dharma Rucitra VII ran aground, causing the heavy steering leaf to be moved and resulting in overload, so the ability of the Thermal Overload Relay (TOR) is needed as an electric motor safety from overload. This study aims to analyze the performance of the Thermal Overload Relay (TOR) as a safety for the electric motor driving the rudder leaf from overload due to the ship running aground. The research uses qualitative methods with data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews and documentation and then analyzed through three stages, namely reducing data, presenting data and drawing conclusions. The result of the research shows that: 1) The rudder leaf is stuck on the seabed because the ship ran aground, causing the Thermal Overload Relay (TOR) on the rudder panel to work; and 2) Thermal Overload Relay (TOR) on the rudder panel when the ship ran aground works in the current range of 7.5A to 10A.

Abstract

This study investigates how audit fees impact audit quality. The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between the effect of audit fees on audit quality in companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange which are categorized as LQ45. This study was conducted using the verification method. Researchers involved 225 LQ45 companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2016 to 2020. The data used comes from secondary data collected through the documentation method. In analyzing the data, this study uses panel data regression statistical testing with a random effect model. The findings of this study are that audit fees are positive to audit quality based on the calculation of panel data regression analysis conducted through the Eviews 9 program.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to analyze specifically and in depth the urgency of registering marriages in Jambi Province based on the Compilation of Islamic Law from the Maqāṣid al-Syarīah perspective. The research method used is a type of qualitative research with the field research category. This research is also normative legal research, where the object can be public law, criminal law, civil law, family law, marriage law and so on. This research was conducted at the KUA in Jambi Province. The data sources in this research consist of primary and secondary data sources. The data collection techniques used in this research are observation, interviews and documentation. The results of this research show that marriage registration for the people of Jambi Province is very important. Based on the Maqāṣid al-Syarīah perspective, there is maṣlahah in registering marriages, namely to provide protection for the husband, wife and children in the family. If we pay attention to the legality of marriages in Indonesia, the state only recognizes registered marriages, on the basis of Law Number 1 of 1974 concerning Marriage and the Compilation of Islamic Law.

Abstract

The substation is part of the electrical energy distribution system, therefore depending on its function it must be protected from disturbances that cause disruption to the distribution of electrical energy. One of the important equipment in a substation is a transformer, and the protection device used is a lightning rod. With its good characteristics, the arrester plays a role in bypassing lightning currents so that the equipment does not produce high overvoltages. The analysis results show that the maximum distance between the arrester and the transformer is 10.96 meters, while the installation distance in the field is 3.2 meters, so the arrester can still protect the transformer because it is still lower than the maximum distance. Allowed. After the arrester turns on for 9.54 μs, the voltage on the transformer will drop. And because the BIL of the transformer is 650 KV and the peak voltage reaches 751.3 kV at 300 μs, the arrester can still protect the transformer.

Abstract

Tourism and the creative industry have an inseparable link, these two things are an emotional link between visitors and the tourist destinations they visit, namely in the form of souvenirs, as mementos to take home after traveling. Advances in digital technology have increased the distribution of information related to work and creativity so that the risk of work theft and copyright infringement is very vulnerable to occurring and this can be detrimental to creative industry players. This research uses qualitative methods with a literature approach in the form of laws, government regulations, articles and books that are relevant to the research topic. This research aims to provide an understanding of the importance of registering Intellectual Property Rights for creative industry to ensure the law protection of the intellectual property that has been created. The research results show that every creative industry player needs to register copyrighted works with the Directorate General of Intellectual Property. Apart from that, synergy is needed between the Government and the public in increasing awareness of creators or creative industry players to register copyrighted works as Intellectual Property Rights through regulations and facilities provided by the authorized government institution, namely the Directorate General of Intellectual Property, Ministry of Law and Rights. Indonesian Human Rights so that creative works receive legal protection.

Abstract

Love is the initial motivation for couples to decide to get married. However, love can change over the course of marriage. The pros and cons regarding the truth that love is the foundation and reason for the survival of a marriage need to be studied further. The importance of knowing the most important elements in marriage will minimize conflict and even divorce. The method used in this research is a descriptive qualitative method with data collection techniques based on literature studies. The study of marriage and all components of marriage is the object of this research. The main research data comes from the book "A Triangular Theory of Love" by Robert J. Sternberg and "The Seven Principles for Making Marriage Work" by John Gottman. Apart from that, supporting data such as books and articles related to marriage and studies of love in married life are also used as supporting references. The research results show the dynamics of changes in the type of love during marriage. There are three components to love including: (1) the intimacy component; (2) passion component; and (3) commitment component. These three components can form different types of love. The love component can increase and decrease and even disappear. However, the component of love that is a factor in a marriage lasting a long time is the component of commitment. This is because even if the passion and intimacy of a husband and wife change, if the marriage commitment is maintained firmly, the marriage will still be able to survive. The commitment component in love is the most important element in marriage which is the reason for the formation and survival of a marriage.

Abstract

To maximize customer satisfaction through marketing strategies residential property companies must understand the dynamics of appropriate marketing strategies. One of them is by maximizing consumer satisfaction with several important factors such as product, price, promotion and place. The aim of this research is to analyze the influence of the marketing mix on consumer satisfaction at Astapada Indah III Jombang housing. This type of research uses quantitative research with a cross-sectional study approach. The population of all residents of the Astapada Indah III housing complex was 68 and the sample was 58 people using incidental sampling technique. The independent variables are product, price, promotion, place and the dependent variable is consumer satisfaction. The research instruments used questionnaires, data processing using multiple linear regression tests. The results of the research showed that product and location had a significant effect on housing consumer satisfaction, while price and promotion had no effect on consumer satisfaction. However, simultaneously product, price, promotion and location all influence consumer behavior simultaneously by 79.4%.

Abstract

This study, conducted from 2017 to 2023, analyzes the relationship between international tourism and law using bibliometric methods on a dataset of 237 selected documents. The findings reveal a declining trend in annual dataset growth, with an average document age of approximately 2.93 years. The study delves into author collaboration, document types, and keyword usage. There was an average of 4,042 citations per document, reflecting the scholarly impact in the field. The dataset included 714 plus keywords and 738 author keywords, contributing to content analysis. Among the 570 unique authors, 87 were sole authors, while 99 documents were single-authored, and the average co-authorship was 2.47. Notably, there was no international co-authorship in the dataset. Document types encompassed articles, books, book chapters, conference papers, and more, with peak scientific production observed in 2020. Treemap and thematic map analysis visualize term distribution and research trends.

Abstract

Excessive sugar consumption has become a major public health problem in recent times. The purpose of this review article is to provide a comprehensive picture of the harmful effects of sugar consumption on human health. The review includes an analysis of various studies and scientific findings conducted over the past few decades. This review examines the impact of excess sugar consumption on a range of health outcomes, including obesity, diabetes, heart disease, and cancer. The study also addresses the mechanisms underlying the link between sugar consumption and the development of such health problems. The results of this study showed that excessive sugar consumption significantly increases the risk of various serious diseases and health problems. That's why it's important for individuals and society to reduce sugar consumption and eat healthier. This overview provides a better understanding of the importance of being aware of the adverse health impacts of sugar consumption and lays the groundwork for efforts to effectively address this issue.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the implementation of Law Number 10 of 2009 concerning Tourism and explore the management steps in the development of the Clungup Mangrove Conservation (CMC) Tiga Warna Area in Malang Regency. Through the establishment of these objectives, it is hoped to provide more specific guidance in achieving progress in the sustainable tourism sector. The development of the tourism sector is the main focus in supporting economic growth and community welfare. To ensure effective management, the Government has enacted Law Number 10 of 2009 concerning Tourism. This law is designed to provide the necessary limitations and guidance to advance the tourism sector. One of the main goals of this law is to create a clear framework and provide necessary guidance to achieve sustainable development in the tourism sector. The research method used is qualitative descriptive, and the conclusion of this study indicates that the CMC Tiga Warna Area has successfully integrated tourism activities with nature conservation and engaged the local community through the non-governmental organization Bhakti Alam Sendang Biru. With an emphasis on conservation and sustainable development aspects, CMC Tiga Warna proves itself as a successful example of the implementation of the Tourism Law, which aims to achieve economic growth, nature preservation, and community welfare.
