Jurnal Manajemen Pendidikan Islam (MANAPI) with ISSN 2964-6863 is a forum for educators, academics, researchers and practitioners to share ideas regarding practical approaches in improving the quality of problems related to education management, education administration and Islamic education management. and published by the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education at UIN Mahmud Yunus Batusangkar. Jurnal Manajemen Pendidikan Islam (MANAPI) is published twice a year; in May and November. The manuscript will be reviewed by at least two reviewers prior to publishing. It is a double-blind review process. The first edition of Manapi will publish in 2022.

Abstract

This type of research is descriptive qualitative research. Meanwhile, the approach taken by researchers in this research is to use a case study approach. For data collection techniques, researchers collect data through observation, interviews and documentation techniques. Meanwhile, to check and inspect data from various existing data collection techniques and data sources, researchers use data triangulation techniques. The research results that the researchers found were: (1) Kulliyatul Mu'allımat al-Islamiyah education management planning in forming noble morals for female students at the Mawaridussalam Islamic Boarding School is not only planning carried out to carry out Teaching and Learning Activities in the classroom, but also activities outside the classroom. including from the Kulliyatul Mu'allimat al-Islamiyah educational process which collaborates under the auspices of ustadz and ustadzah female student care staff. (2) Implementation of Kulliyatul Mu'allimat al-Islamıyah education management in forming the noble morals of female students inside and outside the classroom through the exemplary method (uswatun hasanah), the method of taking lessons (ibrah), the method of advice (mau'idzoh), and the method of training and habituation in everyday life to form noble morals among female students. (3) There are two types of education management evaluation process at the Mawaridussalam Islamic boarding school, namely for all female students at the Mawaridussalam Islamic boarding school and also evaluation for all teacher council that teaches.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of human resource management (HRM) strategies on teacher performance at MTs Laboratorium UIN Bukittinggi. A quantitative method with a causal associative approach was employed. Data were collected through a closed-ended questionnaire distributed to 11 full-time teachers, consisting of 25 items. Simple linear regression analysis revealed that HRM strategies significantly influence teacher performance, with a coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.68. The findings indicate that HRM practices such as selective recruitment, continuous training, systematic performance evaluation, and appropriate compensation positively contribute to improvements in teacher discipline, pedagogical competence, and professionalism. Hence, well-structured and targeted HRM is a crucial factor in enhancing teacher performance and educational quality in Islamic junior high schools.

Abstract

Supervisi akademik menjadi aspek krusial untuk meningkatkan profesionalisme dan kinerja guru. Berbagai macam tantangan perlu untuk segera ditindaklanjuti khususnya mengenai rendahnya efektivitas dan partisipasi lembaga pendidikan dalam melaksanakan supervisi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menjabarkan tentang kajian konseptual dan empiris tentang supervisi berbasis pendekatan kolaboratif, Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kepustakaan (library research) yang merupakan studi untuk mengumpulkan informasi dan data melalui berbagai macam literatur seperti buku, catatan, jurnal dan lain-lain. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa supervisi kolaboratif berpotensi untuk menciptakan iklim belajar yang suportif, mampu memberdayakan, memfasilitasi dialog terbuka antara supervisor dan guru, dan mendorong akuntabilitas seluruh pihak yang terlibat. Supervisi kolaboratif menawarkan paradigma yang lebih efektif, berkelanjutan dan berdampak signifikan bagi praktik pengembangan profesionalisme guru dibandingkan pendekatan tradisional.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the extent to which the principal's managerial competence and teacher performance influence the quality of service at MTs Negeri 4 Jombang. Using a quantitative approach with an ex post facto method in the form of causal associative, data were collected through a closed questionnaire to 117 teacher respondents. Using a saturated sampling method. The instrument consists of 33 questions. The results of the F test show a calculated F value of 72.151> 2.68, which means that both independent variables simultaneously have a significant influence on the quality of service. This emphasizes the importance of cooperation between principal leadership and teacher performance in improving the quality of education services. Therefore, improving the quality of service requires collaboration between the principal and teachers. Both must continue to improve their respective capacities so that the quality of education services can continue to be improved sustainably, the quality of education in madrasas.

Abstract

Professional ethics in teaching play a crucial role in shaping the quality of education; however, its implementation in practice still faces numerous challenges, such as inconsistent application of ethical values and the lack of continuous ethics training. This study aims to analyze the influence of professional ethics on teachers’ performance and credibility through a qualitative descriptive approach using a literature review method. Data were obtained from scholarly literature published between 2020 and 2025, including accredited journals and relevant academic books. Data were collected using a manual literature data recording format and analyzed through content analysis and thematic analysis techniques. The findings reveal that understanding and applying ethical values such as integrity, responsibility, and fairness significantly enhance teachers' dedication and performance in the teaching process. Moreover, professional ethics also reinforce teachers’ credibility in the eyes of students, colleagues, and the community by increasing trust and appreciation for the teaching profession. In conclusion, professional ethics not only support teachers’ technical performance but also serve as a moral foundation that strengthens their professional identity and social position as role models. Therefore, strengthening professional ethics should be a key priority in teacher development and performance evaluation efforts.

Abstract

In the implementation of education there are several components that can effectively and efficiently support the success of the teaching and learning process. This success is largely focused on educational leaders (school principals) who can carry out their roles and responsibilities. Therefore, as a manager, you must play a leadership role effectively to influence subordinates in achieving common goals. The purpose of this research is to determine the planning, implementation and evaluation of school principals in improving teacher discipline This research involves questions that need to be answered by certain sources or information providers, so this qualitative method is very necessary in this research. Because the qualitative method uses interviews to collect data, this is the main technique in the qualitative method. Through this research, it can be concluded that 1) Planning, the principal in disciplining teachers consists of the principal formulating rules and codes of ethics that are guided by the Law on the Minister of Education and Culture, 2) Implementation, the principal disciplining teachers using 3 approaches the example of the principal, routine training and motivation of the principal, and 3) Evaluation, in the evaluation activity of disciplining teachers, the principal carries out forms of evaluation activities such as monitoring, data collection and confirmation, and also collaborates with a team of supervisors/supervisors to assess performance teacher, which also includes teacher discipline.
