Scope The BEduManagers Journal : Borneo Educational Management and Research Jornal provides those interested in the effective management of the educational process with a broad overview of developments and best practice in the field, with particular reference to how new ideas can be applied in the educational environment and worldwide. Educational management refers to the administration of the education system in which a group combines human and material resources to supervise, plan, strategies, and implement structures to execute an education system. The education system is an ecosystem of professionals in educational institutions, such as government ministries, unions, statutory boards, agencies, and schools. As the whole structure and philosophy of education goes through a sea-change, and as budgets are cut, educational managers need to keep abreast of new developments in order to maximize their resources and determine the most appropriate management strategy for their institution.

Abstract

The study aimed to investigate: (1) the influence of entrepreneurship knowledge, family support, soft skill and learning achievement on the students entrepreneurship readiness, (2) the influence of entrepreneurship knowledge on the students entrepreneurship readiness, (3) the influence of family support on the students entrepreneurship readiness, (4) the influence of soft skills on the students entrepreneurship readiness, (5) the influence of learning achievement on the students entrepreneurship readiness. The population of this research was all students of Mechanical Engineering, STTIB Bontang in the academic year of 2022/2023 who had taken the entrepreneurship course. Therefore, the subject of this research was 106 from the academic year of 2020 - 2021 The research finding follow: (1) there are influence of entrepreneurship knowledge, family support, soft skills and learning achievement on the students’ entrepreneurship readiness, (2) there are influence of entrepreneurship knowledge on the students’ entrepreneurship readiness shown by the partial correlations result, (3) there are influence of family support on the students’ entrepreneurship readiness, (4) there are influence of soft skills on the students’ entrepreneurship readiness, (5) there are influence of learning achievement on the students’ entrepreneurship readiness.

Abstract

For the Indonesian people, the issue of corruption is the most important part of the issue of values. This means that corruption must be prevented and eradicated to restore Indonesia's national values. One of the problems associated with the order of social values is the incessant corruption. Therefore, the research in this research journal is a descriptive qualitative research. Qualitative research is a research procedure that produces descriptive data from people and observed behavior in the form of written or spoken language. research conducted with qualitative methods subject and object Research was conducted on STTI Bontang students majoring in mechanical engineering and chemical engineering semester 2 and UIN Makassar students, using interviews data collection via google from c. Internal In teaching and learning interactions, students are the main key to successful learning, which takes place during the learning process. Both lecturers and students expect good results during the learning process, but in reality not all processes go as smoothly as expected. Various obstacles are encountered in the learning process, especially for lecturers of Islamic religion courses when implementing anti-corruption teaching materials that contain Islamic religion material. The way lecturers conduct anti-corruption education to students is inseparable from the various obstacles faced in the implementation of anti-corruption education. Anti-corruption education is the latest content of the independent curriculum and is one of the Islamic religion courses. As well as the factor of the Indonesian state itself whose corruption rate increases every year and the absence of a deterrent effect from the perpetrators of corruption is sad. d. External Barriers External External obstacles are the ability of students to understand learning material, namely how the lecturer chooses learning material that is not boring so that students can understand what is being conveyed. But in reality, even though the lecturer provides learning material as well as possible, it returns to the individual student. Suggestions Judging from the conclusion about the integration of anti-corruption education into Islamic religious lectures based on the independent curriculum, the suggestions that can be given are: Anti-corruption education is a very important subject, so anti-corruption education needs to be included in the education curriculum and taught to all students or specialists in higher education. However, this type of corruption can also be prevented by strengthening mutual trust because anti-corruption education alone is not enough, but there must also be legal efforts where everyone who commits and is proven to have committed a corruption crime must be punished in accordance with the applicable law. What needs to be done in learning anti-corruption education, or what has already been done but needs to be further implemented, is systematically shown in the educator program.

Abstract

This study aims to describe: 1) the leadership strategy of two school principals, 2) school achievement, and 3) efforts to improve school achievement during the Covid-19 pandemic. This research uses a descriptive qualitative research method. It used snowball sampling. The study was conducted at State Senior High School 1 (SHS) and Catholic High School (CHS). Key informants consisted of 1 principal, one vice principal, three teachers, three education staff, three students, and three parents from each school for in-depth interviews. Data collection techniques were also carried out through observation and documentation studies. The results showed that: 1) in SHS the relationship-oriented leadership pattern stood out, while in the CHS the task-oriented leadership pattern was more prominent, (2) the achievement of both high schools was above the national average; and 3) The Head of SHS forms a learning group based on interests and talents, while CHS forms an innovative virtual achievement group. The results of this study are helpful for school principals as a reference in implementing effective leadership patterns to improve school achievement. The taxonomy of leadership patterns (entrepreneurial, bureaucratic, political, and professional) can be applied to improve school achievement, although there is a different emphasis between the two schools

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to improve the reading culture of elementary school children using the Batu Wet method, where the activity was carried out for three days. The problem that exists today is the lack of students reading, especially in non-educational books, which researchers teach using the wet stone method and are carried out for three days. This research method is a descriptive qualitative method where the data source comes from research results and secondary data comes from research results published in the form of publications. The data analysis technique used is data reduction to conclusions (observation results, student activity forms and student presentations). The results of this study were that on the first day of observation it was found that several students were still not very enthusiastic about participating in activities. On the second and third day of observation it was seen that students' interest in reading increased as reflected in the enthusiasm of students to take part in this reading and writing activity. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that the Batu Wet method can be used to improve the reading culture and courage of class III students at SDN 007 Samarinda Ulu

Abstract

Youth entrepreneurship has a significant impact on productivity, economic growth and the creation of new technologies. Peer support, entrepreneurship education, and self-efficacy have been shown to influence students' entrepreneurial intentions.Social support from family and peer environment is also related to entrepreneurial intention. In addition, research also shows thatpeers have a significant influence on entrepreneurial career choice, even greater than the influence of parents. Therefore, it can be concluded that peer support plays a significant role in the development of an entrepreneurial mindset in young entrepreneurs. Thisshows the importance of paying attention to social environmental factors, such as peer support, in an effort to develop anentrepreneurial spirit in the younger generation.

Abstract

This study aims to reveal the role of professional ethics and labour law in shaping the motivation and personal excellence of mechanical engineering students at Bontang College of Industrial Technology (STTI). Professional ethics and labour law play an important role in guiding students to develop high motivation and personal excellence during their studies. This research uses qualitative methods with in-depth interviews and document analysis as data collection techniques. The research respondents were active students of Mechanical Engineering at STTI Bontang. The results showed that understanding professional ethics provides a moral foundation for students to develop a positive professional attitude. Meanwhile, knowledge of labour law provides a better understanding of the rights and responsibilities related to employment. These two factors have a positive impact on students' motivation to achieve academic excellence and personal development. In addition, professional ethics and understanding of labour law also contribute to the formation of students' personal character, including integrity, responsibility and awareness of rights and justice. Students who understand the values of professional ethics and labour law tend to have higher intrinsic motivation and develop personal excellence. This research provides a better understanding of the important role of professional ethics and labour law in guiding students' personal character.

Abstract

By thinking philosophically, an individual can overcome various complexities in his life. This can happen if an individual understands what philosophy is, because by applying philosophical thinking in every aspect of life, various problems that arise in life can be resolved well and wisely. Philosophy itself can be interpreted lexically as a view or way of life. If every Indonesian wants to do philosophy, that is, make philosophy a way of life, regardless of their daily profession, then philosophical knowledge can be used to perfect their lives, including in forming their performance character. Because the consequences of a philosophical view are significant and determine a person's attitude toward himself, other people, the world, and God. This research aims to describe how moral philosophy can be applied in shaping the performance character of students with employment status. The research was carried out using qualitative methods like library research which used books and other literature as objects. The results of the research are that the symptoms of weakness and the negative impacts of studying while working can be minimized or even eliminated if an individual can position himself as a moral philosopher who can find answers to the value of belief for his character and life. This kind of pattern will greatly contribute to the quality of student life in the current period and the future, this is because the construction of philosophical thinking can reduce negative fluctuations in life which is always dynamic and fluctuating

Abstract

Discipline is self-awareness that arises from the deepest inner self to follow and obey the rules, values and laws that apply in a particular environment. This awareness includes, among other things, that if someone is able to be well disciplined it will have a good impact on their future success. Therefore, researchers conducted scientific research on the influence of professionalism and professional ethics on the disciplinary culture of students majoring in Engineering at the Bontang College of Industrial Technology. The approach used in this research is a quantitative approach. A quantitative approach is a scientific way to obtain data with specific purposes and uses based on numbers and statistics. This research was carried out on the STTIB campus and the target respondents were STTIB campus students for 3 months by distributing a survey in the form of a Google form containing several questions. Based on research regarding the influence of professionalism and professional ethics on the disciplinary culture of students majoring in engineering at STTI Bontang, it can be concluded that these two factors have a significant role in forming and strengthening a disciplinary culture among students. Professionalism, which includes students' ability to apply their technical knowledge and skills as best as possible, makes a positive contribution to disciplinary attitudes and behavior. Professional ethics also have an important impact, because students who have moral awareness and integrity in carrying out their technical tasks tend to be more compliant with applicable rules and norms. In other words, an understanding of moral responsibility as an engineering professional helps strengthen the culture of discipline in the academic environment

Abstract

This educational entertainment-based interactive learning media aims to maximize the teaching and learning process to make it easier and more enjoyable so that it can increase students' interest in learning, especially financial literacy, 3D animation material. Apart from that, teachers can also create questions for students to work on without having to correct them manually because of this system. equipped with an automatic error correction feature based on answers made by the teacher and an educational entertainment system on this website. It is also equipped with mini flash games so that the site content becomes more diverse, and the material is equipped with animation. Content updates can be done dynamically via the admin panel. This educational entertainment-based interactive learning media was developed using the Prototype system development methodology and system development tools using UML (Unifield Modeling Language). In developing this educational entertainment website, the programming languages PHP, HTML, JavaScript, JQuery MySQL Database, and Sublime Text were used as editors. text and Adobe Flash Professional CS6 as image editor. From the results of this research, an edutainment website was created which contains learning material features in the form of animated images, video tutorials about 3D animation, photos of teaching and learning activities for students majoring in multimedia engineering, educational games, discussion forums and multiple choice questions.

Abstract

Samarinda,-In this day and age, many children are less exposed to traditional games, most children are busy playing online games on gadgets. A sight that is not regrettable considering that apart from being exciting and fun to play, traditional games also contain a lot of history/philosophy of life. Traditional games have benefits for early childhood in children’s growth compared to gadget games. At this time I am looking at and conducting research on traditional games, one on which is the Nekeran game.The goal is children today still recognize and love traditional game in Indonesia which ore now almost never seen anymore. I also as a researcher use descriptive qualitative methods, in this researchI used data collection technigues with abservastion interviews. The collected data is then analyzed, namely organizing the date, summarizing important points, editing and classifying themes, making a summary.
