Scope The BEduManagers Journal : Borneo Educational Management and Research Jornal provides those interested in the effective management of the educational process with a broad overview of developments and best practice in the field, with particular reference to how new ideas can be applied in the educational environment and worldwide. Educational management refers to the administration of the education system in which a group combines human and material resources to supervise, plan, strategies, and implement structures to execute an education system. The education system is an ecosystem of professionals in educational institutions, such as government ministries, unions, statutory boards, agencies, and schools. As the whole structure and philosophy of education goes through a sea-change, and as budgets are cut, educational managers need to keep abreast of new developments in order to maximize their resources and determine the most appropriate management strategy for their institution.

Abstract

The Influence Sevice Optiamisation and Job Motivation with Employee Dicipliner in Measure Job Satisfaction Toward Administration Power at UPT and Education Official East Kutai Regency Provincy East Kalimantan. There is research to aim for the service optimalisation effect and employee motivation with employee dicipliner in measure work satisfaction toward administration power at UPT and Education Official East Kutai Rigrncy. There is kausal study do it Eighteen District and twenty UPT between one Education Official East Kutai Regency. The method used in this Research is Quantitative method with multiple Regression Analisis. The Sample of this research is one hundred and two respondent of four hundred fifty nine at Population. The result of this research is that there is a significant positive influence either partially or colletively between the effect service optimalisation and work motivation with employee dicipliner to measure work satisfaction employees toward administration power at UPT and Education Official East Kutai Regency. Based on the results of this study the researcher concludes that the batter of service optimalisation and work motivation with employee to dicipliner to result in more the more feeling satisfaction in the job.(1), The Higght more the more in motivation work or duty do it to result in of satisfaction the work (2), The Dicipline more the more and rule obdient employee doing the duty or manner rule, more the more to hoist satisfaction work (3), More the more service optimalisation, more the more work motivation with more the more rule obdient employees in dicipline their work becoming satisfaction to gether the administration power, more the more to services.

Abstract

This study aims to describe how the strategy of early childhood educators in carryingout early childhood character learning during the coronavirus19 disease 19 when learningactivities are carried out at home. The researcher used a qualitative descriptive approach with acase study method to gain an understanding of the strategies of early childhood educators inimplementing early childhood character learning. Data collection techniques used are interviewsand documentation. The data collected was then analyzed using an interactive model with dataanalysis steps, namely data reduction, data presentation, conclusion drawing, and verification.The results showed that there were changes in learning activities carried out before and duringthe covid-19 pandemic, First: the strategy of implementing learning through collaborationbetween educators and parents by sharing tasks, namely, educators as planners and assessment oflearning outcomes while for the task of implementing learning carried out by parents, so thatparents become partners during learning activities at home, including the task of parents is toprepare tools and play materials that are lent by the school and added to the tools and playingmaterials that are around the house, accompanying children, motivating children anddocumenting activities that children do then send the documentation to the homeroom teacher tobe analyzed and reported as a child development report carried out PAUD educators are assistedby parents at home, secondly: Educator's Strategy in instilling character values through learningactivities from At home during the COVID-19 pandemic, there are 11 character values that canbe developed in Anak Kita Preschool, including: 1) Religious, 2) Honest, 3) Tolerance, 4)Discipline, 5) Hard work, 6) creative, 7) independent, 8) curious, 8) friendly/communicative, 9)likes to read, 10) cares about the environment, and 11) is responsible. These eleven charactersvalues are developed through stimulation, storytelling, facilitation and good habituation fromadults, namely educators and parents and are evaluated based on six aspects of childdevelopment.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of work behavior, teaching work goals, research and service on work performance, and analyze the effect of work behavior on teaching work goals, research and community service. The research method used was a research method combination of explanatory sequential design models. The first phase was conducted using quantitative method. The quantitative data were obtained from 96 lecturers of civil servants at Mulawarman University using a proportional stratified cluster random sampling technique. Data was collected by documentation based on the value of the employee work goals in 2020 which was then analyzed using statistical path analysis. Subsequently, the second phase was carried out using the qualitative method by collecting data through interviews, participant observation and documentation related to work behavior, teaching work goals, research, community service, and job performance of civil servants lecturers at Mulawarman University. The results revealed that 1) there was an influence of behavior, teaching work goals, research and community service together based on quantitative and qualitative analysis, 2) there was an influence of behavior on teaching work goals, research, community service and work performance based on quantitative analysis and qualitative. 3) Based on qualitative data, the leadership style also affected the work performance of lecturers of civil servants at Mulawarman University.

Abstract

The Special Allocation Fund or DAK as an important element in the implementation and improvement of the quality of education is currently one of the recess agendas for members of the House of Representatives of the Republic of Indonesia (DPRD RI) and an important recess agenda. Where according to the Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 33 of 2004 concerning the Financial Balance between Central Finance and Regional Finance, Article 1 number 23 explains that the Special Allocation Fund, hereinafter referred to as DAK, is a fund sourced from APBN revenues allocated to certain regions with the aim of helping fund special activities which are regional affairs and in accordance with national priorities. The allocation of DAK itself exists for physical and non-physical development. Physical DAK The two types of DAK are a source of finance for the implementation and improvement of the quality of education, particularly in the province of East Kalimantan. The purpose of the discussion is to generate; (a) a number of important points from guest speakers and participants or discussion audiences on education finance DAK, and (b) found a number of solutions that are thought to support the strengthening, utilization and management of education finance DAK. The planned method is a face-to-face discussion that refers to the health protocol that applies during the PKM implementation later. The outputs on the agenda are scientific articles published in unaccredited national journals. The results of the implementation of PKM education discussions which are part of the educational workshop activities, it can be concluded that (1) The education system and local government administration are in line with a number of regulations, one of which is the Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 33 of 2004 concerning Financial Balance between Central Finance and Finance Regions that declare the existence of DAK, including in the field of education; (2) During the Covid-19 pandemic, the issue of education, funding, and the impact of Covid-19 became very hot to discuss, especially the increasing burden on parents, while the burden on teachers was seen to be reduced; and (3) The problem in Samarinda City is that the number of DAK for Education in 2021 tends to be small compared to other cities in Indonesia. Therefore, it is necessary to optimize DAK factually, both in the form of physical and non-physical proposals, because the proposal determines the size of the DAK for education in an area.

Abstract

Instructional inovations in schools are phenomena that adjust to new teaching and learning style based on the current situation and condition to fulfill the demand of industrial revolution 4.0 era. This research was aimed at knowing the innovation that could improve the students’ competence in East Kalimantan, knowing in what way blended learning influenced the improvement of students’ competence in East Kalimantan, and knowing the planning of good blended learning program in the industrial era 4.0 from 2020 up to 2035. The research method used was qualitative descriptive. The results showed that in the teaching and learning, the teachers implemented blended learning as their innovation by combining face-to-face and online learning. Blended learning enabled students to study individually or in group at the time, so it was so effective and efficient. The planning of successful blended learning program for the coming years must have been set up carefully, particularly in determining the kinds and content of the materials, facilities, and human resources since the success of blended learning lied on the model of Learning Management System that was developed and implemented

Abstract

Tilawatil Qur’an Development Institution in an organization that carries cut education of the Qur’an together with the islamic community in preparing the generation of the Qur’ani who read the Al-Qur’an with reading that are recognized by the world, as well as having morality the Tilawatil Qur’an development institute began in 1977. Organization of education Al-Qur’an as well as the tilawatil musabaqah the Qur’an is carried out with a patterm of management that acounteble by LPTQ stags starting from the village level, distract level ,District /City level, Provincial level and National level. Specifically LPTQ Samarinda city has tried to empower all potential generations of Muslim to be able to inherit the art of reading the Qur’an propertly, practicing in daily life, especially the people of Samarinda and East Kalimantan in general. So for the Tilawatil Qur’an development instiut of Samarinda city has built patnerships with islamic communiteis MTQ implementation ,guidance of the board of judges and impropvement of the quality of the participans in reading of study Al-Qur’an are the min programs of the LPTQ of Samarinda city.

Abstract

The main problem in this research is how to improve the early literacy skills of children aged 5-6 years through the smart box media. This type of research is Class Action Research which consists of two cycles where each cycle is carried out in 1 meeting. Research procedures include planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects in this study were 15 students in group B at the Integrated Asiah Islamic Kindergarten. The results showed that in the first cycle after being given the action in the first and second meetings, it was seen that the increase was not too significant, namely in cycle I the average yield was 51.7% with the Start Developing criteria (MB) and after taking action in cycle II there was an increase of the average yield percentage is 80.5% with Very Good Developing (BSB) criteria

Abstract

The background of this research is that children's ability to recognize number symbols 1-10 is still low due to the lack of varied teacher and media approaches. If this problem is not solved, it will have a low impact on knowing numbers and children will experience difficulties in their cognitive aspects. The purpose of this study was to find out the teacher's activities, children's activities, and their developmental achievements in the cognitive aspect in recognizing the number symbols 1-10 through various play activities using loose part media as a model in learning. This research was conducted using a qualitative research approach in the type of Classroom Action Research (CAR) with research subjects of class A children at Teratai Birayang Kindergarten, totaling 12 children. The type of research data is qualitative research where the data collection method is obtained from observation sheets of teacher and child activities while quantitative research methods for collecting data are obtained from children's learning outcomes sheets. Data analysis was descriptive qualitative and cross-tabulation with indicators of teacher activity achieving a score of ≥ 27 in the "Very Good" category, children's classical activity with a score of ≥ 76 in the "Very Active" category, and the child's development results at least got more than or equal to three stars. From the results of the study it was concluded that using loose part media through these varied playing activities can develop children's ability to recognize the symbols of numbers 1-10. For school principals it is suggested to be able to provide guidance to all teachers, for teachers it is suggested to be able to practice the combination of models that researchers do at school and for other researchers it is suggested to be able to develop a combination of these models.

Abstract

This research is motivated by facts in the field which show that the ability to recognize letters in Group B of Al Ihsan Kindergarten is still lacking. Learning media available to introduce letters is still lacking, only using blackboards and LKA . The fun learning process to introduce letters is lacking and monotonous. In terms of language, especially the ability to recognize letters in group B children at TK Al Ihsan is still low. The low ability to recognize letters of kindergarten children will of course have a negative impact on those concerned. This impact will be greatly felt entering elementary school. So the researchers tried to apply the use of letter card media to improve the ability to recognize children's letters. The formulation of the problem in this study is how are children's learning activities in recognizing letters using letter card media? and how to improve children's learning outcomes in recognizing letters by using letter card media? The purpose of the research conducted was to find out an overview of the application of letter card media in improving the ability to recognize letters in group B children of Al Ihsan Kindergarten. The type of research used is classroom action research (CAR). The subjects in this study were the children of Al Ihsan Kindergarten Group B1 for the 2020/2021 academic year, which consisted of 10 children with 4 boys and 6 girls. Based on the research results obtained, it shows that the ability to recognize letters in group B1 children has increased. This is evidenced by the results of the achievement of child development which has increased in each cycle, namely (1) in cycle I, the achievement of child development is 70%. In cycle II, the achievement of child development was 90%. Thus, it can be concluded that the use of letter card media can improve the ability to recognize letters in group B1 children

Abstract

This study aims to determine the stages of development and improve fine motor skills in early childhood 4-5 years by printing patterned images with star fruit media. The subjects of this study were group A Tanjung Selor TK.Melati students. This research method is in the form of creativity to motivate the improvement of fine motor skills in early childhood through printing activities. The results of increasing creativity and fine motor skills in early childhood through printing activities carried out by using sponge media and star fruit to print patterned images are shown by achieving the following scores: Pre-Cycle Actions 33%, Cycle I Actions reaching 46%. And in Action Cycle 2 it reaches 81%.
