Scope The BEduManagers Journal : Borneo Educational Management and Research Jornal provides those interested in the effective management of the educational process with a broad overview of developments and best practice in the field, with particular reference to how new ideas can be applied in the educational environment and worldwide. Educational management refers to the administration of the education system in which a group combines human and material resources to supervise, plan, strategies, and implement structures to execute an education system. The education system is an ecosystem of professionals in educational institutions, such as government ministries, unions, statutory boards, agencies, and schools. As the whole structure and philosophy of education goes through a sea-change, and as budgets are cut, educational managers need to keep abreast of new developments in order to maximize their resources and determine the most appropriate management strategy for their institution.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to increase thematic drawing creativity through the Lines and Coloring Techniques for children in Group B of Gelatik V Muara Jawa Kindergarten using the Classroom Action Research method which was carried out in two cycles, each cycle covering the stages of planning, implementing, observing and reflecting. The results show the percentage of completeness of 12 children per cycle, namely 4 children (40%) completed and then given action in cycle I to 8 children (60%) which indicates that cycle I has increased slightly and cycle II 10 children (90%) have completed. So that the Thematic Drawing activities through the Line and Coloring Techniques can be increased in group B children at Gelatik V Muara Jawa Kindergarten for the 2020/2021 Academic Year.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to improve children's fine motor skills through sewing activities using classroom action research methods which were carried out in two cycles, each cycle covering the stages of planning, implementing, observing and reflecting. The results show that the percentage of pre-cycle completeness, namely 30% (3 children) of children completed and then given action, increased in cycle I to 50% (5 children) and cycle II to 90%, namely 9 children have completed. So that sewing activities can improve the fine motor skills of group B children at TK IT Al-Munawwarah Long Kali for the 2021/2022 academic year.

Abstract

During the current Covid-19 pandemic, schools are required to carry out distance learning. This learning is carried out using online learning media such as E-learning, Google Classroom, Zoom, and others. The objectives of this study are (1) to add insight into the patterns of distance learning during the Covid-19 pandemic, (2) to find out the problems in distance learning during the Covid-19 pandemic, (3) to know the methods or alternative learning assessments, especially in courses English. This article was prepared using a quantitative method by collecting data through observation and interviews. The effect of doing distance learning raises many obstacles that hinder the process of teaching and learning activities. The results of the study show that not all students are ready to take part in distance learning. Starting from media that is less supportive, there is still minimal internet network and uneven quota assistance from the government. As a result of the ineffectiveness of distance learning during the Covid-19 pandemic, students did not understand the learning material provided by educators.

This type of research is classroom action research. The research subjects were children in group B TK Putera 1 Banjarbaru in 2020/2021 semester. That cognitive development uses a combination Explicit Instruction, Make A Match and Talking Stick models that can develop children’s ability to recognize number carousel.

Abstract

The research was conducted at Rahayu Samarinda Kindergarten in the 2019-2020 academic year. The background of this research was the lack of development in recognizing colors in children in finger painting activities. Formulation of the problem to be studied Based on the background of the problem that has been stated above, through this research it can be formulated how to increase the ability to recognize colors through finger painting activities in group B1 children at TK Rahayu Samarinda. colors with finger painting activities in group B at TK Rahayu Samarinda. This type of research is used in classroom action research (CAR). Research is a scientific series in the context of solving a problem. Research results are never included as a direct solution to the problems to be faced. Based on the results of the research and discussion that was carried out in the third cycle of 3 meetings in each cycle, it can be concluded that the finger painting activity in group B1 at TK Rahayu Samarinda was able to improve the ability to recognize colors through finger painting activities

Abstract

The role of Islamic religious education is very crucial for students, this is because Islamic religious learning teaches about morals and morals. Morals and morals are very important because they will be useful in everyday life. In addition, Islamic religious education also teaches emotional, spiritual, and social intelligence. In this study, it will be discussed how the implementation of Islamic religious education in improving emotional, spiritual, and social intelligence for Bontang Technology College students. Abstract

This study aims to describe the effectiveness of Islamic Religious Education learning in increasing student motivation and learning achievement, especially for students with working status at the Bontang Industrial Technology College. Being a working student is certainly not easy to be able to focus on their lecture activities, this makes them also have to focus on the work they have carried out. They are required to work when outside of their class hours and return to work when after their lecture hours, this makes it difficult for students to manage time between college and work. This research is descriptive qualitative research is a research method that seeks to describe and interpret objects in real terms as they are, without manipulating research data. The approach in this research is the educational science approach, in this case the educational science approach is an approach that is systematically organized by having certain methods that are scientific in nature. The results showed that Islamic Religious Education lectures can increase motivation and achievement in student learning, especially for students with working status at STTI Bontang. This is evidenced by very satisfying learning achievements (GPA), high intensity of attendance and involvement and students who show that students have high motivation and lecture strategies applied by doses can run well.

Abstract

Holistic-Integrative Early Childhood Development (PAUDHI) is an early childhood development effort undertaken to meet the diverse and interrelated essential needs of children simultaneously, systematically, and integrated Ly. Includes education, health, nutrition, care, care, protection and welfare services. (PERPRES Number 60 of 2013). Formulation of the problem: 1) How is the implementation of HI ECD in Balikpapan city? 2) What are the obstacles faced in implementing HI ECD?, 3) What are the solutions in implementing HI ECD. The results of the study 1) The 2022 HI ECD implementation in Balikpapan City, East Kalimantan Province was carried out well and smoothly. The Balikpapan Office has carried out BIMTEK HI PAUD HI to 100 PAUD managers and PAUD teachers in Balikpapan city and the technical guidance participants are required to carry out an imitation of the 10 nearest PAUD units 2) obstacles encountered: a) PAUD units do not yet have a curriculum that is integrated with the implementation of PAUD HI. b) Collaboration with elements of partners and OPD has not been supported by a cooperation agreement. c) Activities involving parents in the unit have been carried out, although not all of them have been carried out considering that learning activities have only started to be active again after the pandemic period (Online 2 years). 3) efforts to overcome obstacles in implementing HI PAUD in Balikpapan city a) Prepare a plan to increase the competence of educators and related education personnel to develop HI PAUD-based curriculum together with the Education Office and PAUD Units, b) Make a cooperation agreement/MOU with Local Government Organizations (OPD) smart one. C) Designing activities with parents, Conclusion the PAUD unit in Balikpapan has implemented PAUD HI services including as a liaison for various services to fulfil children's essentials, OPD involvement has been carried out but some units have not collaborated with the population and civil registration services because the NIK requirements have been met. PAUD units are forced to accept children with special needs (ABK), who are only found out when they start learning. Some PAUD Units already have a follow-up program on students' health checks with the involvement of parents.

Abstract

The objectives of this current study are: (1) To evaluate the policy of the School Activities and Budget planning (RKAS) and the formulation of the Budget Plan (RAB) for the Junior High Schools’ regional school operational assistance funds (BOSDA) to support the 9-year compulsory education; (2) Evaluating the implementation of the Junior High Schools’ BOSDA Program to Support the 9-year Compulsory Education; (3) Evaluating Junior High Schools’ BOSDA Fund Supervision policies to Support the 9-year Compulsory Education; (4) Knowing the Target Achievement of Junior High Schools’ BOSDA Program to Support the 9-year Compulsory Education; (5) Knowing the comparison of the results achieved in the objectives of the Junior High Schools’ BOSDA Program to Support the 9-year Compulsory Education; (6) Finding the SMP BOSDA formula to obtain the ideal amount of funding to support the 9-year compulsory education. This study used qualitative research methods emphasizing naturalistic results combined with quantitative research. The qualitative data were analyzed using data analysis techniques described by Miles and Huberman. The validity of the qualitative data is seen through the process of credibility, transferability, dependability, and conformability. While the Model of evaluation used in this study is the Discrepancy Evaluation Model (DEM) developed by Malcolm Provus. The study concludes: (1) The policy of the RKAS and the RAB for the Junior High Schools’ BOSDA funds were quite effective to support the 9-year compulsory education; (2) The implementation of the Junior High Schools’ BOSDA program monitored by the BOSDA management team was quite effective to support the 9 year compulsory education; (3) Supervision of the implementation of the BOSDA program was ineffective to support the 9 year compulsory education as a result of ineffective internal supervisors, inspectorates and BPK as well as communities and school committees,; (4) The target of BOSDA policy is the achievement of National Education Standards (SNP), taking into account that school operating costs are determined by the number of students and some fixed cost components that do not depend on the number of students; (5) The goals achievement of BOSDA were appropriate with the BOSDA program, namely to free all-state students from fees for school operation; and (6) The formula of Junior High Schools’ BOSDA of 2,58 million rupiahs/student/year as minimum standards of service which so far is only Rp.1,580,000 to support the 9-year compulsory education could only be achieved when the BOSDA funds meet the needs of students, provides required school facilities, and improves schools’ infrastructures. In this study the amount of 2,58 million rupiahs/student/year is found to be the ideal formula to meet the minimum standards of service to support the 9-year compulsory education at Junior High Schools level.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the implementation of character education integration into Indonesian language lectures based on the independent curriculum and also to find out the obstacles and problems in the implementation of character education integration in Indonesian language lectures based on the independent curriculum. the research in this journal is descriptive qualitative research. Descriptive qualitative research is a research procedure that produces descriptive data from people and behavior observed in the form of written or spoken language. The research was conducted on STTI Bontang students majoring in mechanical engineering and chemical engineering semester 2, using data collection interviews via google from.1. Description of Research Results Based on the results of interview research on STTI Bontang semester 2 students and mataram university, the research results are: What are the obstacles in character-based Indonesian language learning that are not running properly. the obstacles are still from students who are active when learning Indonesian language courses to liven up the interactive classroom atmosphere and the Implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum even though it has been running smoothly in the past few months, there are still several obstacles such as, among others, lack of experience with learning independence, limited references and uneven access to learning, time management. The concept of learning Indonesian language courses in supporting an independent curriculum in higher education has the concept of how students have a deeper character to participate in supporting an independent curriculum and during the lecture process students are taught, more active and effective in lectures. Thus students are expected to support an independent curriculum in higher education. The independent study program is implemented by giving freedom to educational institutions, including students, to identify topics, interests and desire to learn. They are also free to determine the learning methods that suit their needs. Merdeka Belajar - The Independent Campus Policy aims at the "Right to Study for Three Semesters Outside the Study Program" program to improve the ability of graduates, both soft skills and hard skills, to be better prepared and adaptive to the needs of the times, to train graduates to become outstanding national leaders in the future, the concept of independent learning is the latest policy in the field of education.
