Abstract

The history of the selapanan tradition in the tradition of the Javanese community which took place in the village of Pulau Tagor, Serbajadi District, Serdang Bedagai Regency and the Islamic view of the Selapanan tradition. The approach used is a cultural anthropological approach which is the view of life of a group of people in the form of behavior, beliefs, values and symbols that they receive unconsciously, all of which are passed down through a communication process from one generation to the next. The results show that the Selapanan tradition has existed since long ago in the Javanese region, and after the Javanese people from Central Java and its surroundings migrated to East Sumatra so that this tradition could develop and survive from generation to generation until it is still being carried out today. The Selapanan tradition has a good meaning as an expression of gratitude to Allah SWT. The Selapanan tradition procession is also permissible in Islam.

Abstract

The background to this title is due to the active dhikr carried out by the congregation of the Naqsyabandiyah Tarekat at Surau Tarbiyah Tengah Sawah, Bukittinggi City, which can increase the value of worship and istiqomah in carrying out Allah SWT's commands, namely dhikr, so the author also wants to know what the method of dhikr is. The problem formulation of this research is the method of remembrance during the implementation of Suluk Tarekat Naqsyabandiyah at Surau Tarbiyah Tengah Sawah, Bukittinggi City. This research aims to describe the method of remembrance during the implementation of Suluk Tarekat Naqsyabandiyah at Surau Tarbiyah Tengah Sawah, Bukittinggi City. This research is qualitative research, namely field research using observation, interviews and documentation methods. The data sources in this research are the tarekat teachers or so-called musryids of the Tarekat Naqsyabandiyah at Surau Tarbiyah Tengah Sawah, Bukittinggi City and also the congregants of the Suluk Tarekat Naqsyabandiyah at Surau Tarbiyah Tengah Sawah City. Bukittinggi. From the results of the research, it can be concluded that the method or way of praying for the congregation of the Naqsyabandiyah Tarekat at Surau Tarbiyah Tengah Sawah is carried out in 2 places in the mosquito net and in the middle of the suluk room which was deliberately left empty for congregational prayers of the suluk and bertawajuh congregation. There are two methods of remembrance, namely bertawajuh and suluk, tawajuh can be carried out in congregation in a mosque or surau led by a teacher or murshid, while the suluk is done individually in a designated place and guided by the murshid for the Naqsyabandiyah congregation at Surau Tarbiyah In the middle of the rice fields, they cover them in white mosquito nets measuring 2x1 m which are collected in one room. Tawajuh time after every morning, noon and evening prayers with the aim of always getting used to remembering Allah SWT for a long time. The remembrance of the Tarekat Naqshbandiyah Surau Tarbiyah Tengah Sawah is divided into two, namely verbal (jahar) and qolbu remembrance (pak, khafi) , the difference between the two is that oral dhikr is only on the tongue and the reading is only "Lailaha Illallah" and nothing else, then our ears hear only the words of the tongue, nothing else, even if there are other sounds, we should not pay attention to it, whereas for qolbu dhikr (sir, khafi ) the reading is only one "Allah".

Abstract

This study aims to identify the challenges faced by Islamic Religious Education teachers in addressing the moral decadence among students at SMAN 3 Merangin. Rapid social and cultural changes can influence the morality of students, necessitating an active role of Islamic Religious Education teachers in confronting these challenges. This research adopts a qualitative approach with a case study method to gain an in-depth understanding of the problems encountered by teachers and the efforts made to address the moral decadence of students. Data were collected through interviews with several Islamic Religious Education teachers at SMAN 3 Merangin, as well as direct observations of the teaching and interactions within the classroom. The findings reveal several factors that pose challenges for Islamic Religious Education teachers in addressing the moral decadence among students, including the influence of the social environment, the ineffectiveness of the teaching methods used, students' lack of understanding of the relevance of Islam in their daily lives, and the involvement of parents in supporting moral education at home.

Abstract

In general, the aim is to understand the messages and controversies about Ustaz Yusuf Mansur's almsgiving on the JIATV YouTube channel so that the public knows what almsgiving is right and what is wrong and so that the public knows what the initial basis for almsgiving itself is. And what are the hadiths and verses of the Koran that explain the meaning alms. This study uses a qualitative method. The researcher uses the Roland Barthes model of semiotic methods. Roland Barthes' Semiotic Analysis examines signs and how they work. This idea is based on Saussure's thoughts regarding signs which he divided into signifiers and signifieds, where Barthes' analysis is divided into several stages of analysis, namely denotation, connotation and myth. . The results of my research are: firstly, the dominance of the da'wah message conveyed by Ustad Yusuf Mansur is more inclined towards the recommendation of almsgiving. Almsgiving is an obligatory thing, almsgiving is a pious practice that is recommended. This is indicated through Yusuf Mansur's journey in interpreting almsgiving itself. secondly, the controversy over the message of alms according to Ustaz Yusuf Mansur is that it tends to be more materialistic in nature, which is merely alms, which means only seeking retribution in the form of money which is doubled, which tends to be forced to give alms by Ustaz Yusuf Mansur.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the exixtence, practice, meaning and social function of the Ratib Samman ritual in the people of Sei Paham Village, Sei Kepayang District, Asahan Regency. The ritual which is carried out by gathering many people is carried out by men at night after the Isha Prayer. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. In this case, to obtain the data inquestion, obtained trough observation, interviews and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the existence of the Ratib Samman ritual is a cultural form that is believed and known by the community to have existed from the time of the Atok ancestors and was passed down from generation to generation. Its existence has a high value in society, the practice starts from the pre-implementation stage, the implementation stage and the post-implementation stage. The movements used are sitting, rotating and standing positions as well as the movements of the pencak silat moves. The community interprets this ritual as the practice of remembrace of Allah Swt to draw closer Allah Swt. It is known that these rituals are part of the teaching of the Tarekat. Howefer, in this area, it has become a public Ratib, meaning that anyone may follow it. The ritual also has a social function, among others, as a form of social solidarity an integration and as a means of overcoming epidemics or diseases, famine, crime, and disturbances by spirits.

Abstract

Adzan means to announce, convey information about a problem. Whereas according to the term is "certain utterances to announce the time of Fardhu prayer", or in other words is "announcement about the entry of Fadhu prayer times with certain pronunciations". Mosques in Indonesia have started using loudspeakers as a tool to voice religious communication activities such as the call to prayer, recitation of verses from the Koran, tarhim, praise, dhikr, recitations, lectures to religious speeches. The purpose of this research is to find out the views of the Chairman of the North Sumatra MUI and KH. Mahmud Mukhtar regarding the case of the use of loudspeakers. From the type of research conducted in the field and from a circular issued by the Ministry of Religion Number 05 of 2021 concerning Regulations for Loudspeakers in Mosques and Musholahs. As well as the views of scholars regarding the call to prayer using loudspeakers.

Abstract

Religion is something that can change a person's behavior because religion contains rules that can lead a person in a better direction. Because, every religion must have certain purposes so that its adherents become more focused. In Tanjung Parapat Village, people consider religion to be just a rule that makes life difficult, so gambling, drinking and drugs are considered normal, the main factor is the lack of understanding of religion in society. From the problem formulation above, this research aims to inform the public that religion not only exists but also has an influence on life and the soul or human psychology. This research uses a qualitative method, which is a research carried out by collecting data by examining locations where there are symptoms that will be examined to find facts that exist in society. Based on the author's research that has been carried out and obtained findings that religion has an active role in religious, social values, harmony as learning in life. And the research results can be concluded that religion is not just a ritual, but religion functions to form moral values, creed values, which can be used as learning in people's lives.

Abstract

This research discusses the pilgrimage activities to the grave of Mr. Sheikh Silau Laut in the view of the community in Silo Lama Village, Silau Laut District, Asahan Regency. The aim of this research is to determine the influence and views of the community and pilgrims regarding the pilgrimage to the grave of Mr. Sheikh Silau Laut. This research method uses a qualitative approach. By using data collection techniques through interviews, observation and documentation. The informants in this research were pilgrims, cemetery administrators and local people who had been selected by researchers according to the research subject criteria. The results of the research show that the grave pilgrimage activities carried out at the Tomb of Mr. Syekh Silau Laut had a positive influence on both the surrounding community and the pilgrims themselves. The community and pilgrims think that the view from the grave pilgrimage carried out by the community makes us always remember death, and makes us diligent in worship, like to give alms, and build friendship. visiting graves will make someone more generous than before, because at this moment they are taught to be sincere and surrender to Allah SWT.

Abstract

This study discusses the understanding of religious liberalism from an Islamic and Christian perspective. Liberal values are prohibited by the MUI, so Islam is contrary to the basic right to freedom. In rejecting the principle of freedom, the meaning is often misinterpreted as "free as freely as possible without limits" which is not actually the freedom of anarchy. Misunderstandings occur among orthodox Islamic circles, but also among secular nationalities. Liberalism is related to individualism on the one hand and imperialist capitalism on the other. Liberalism understands that it experiences development and change and can even form politics and political parties. The opposite of liberalism is fundamentalism, both in the economic and religious fields. What is meant by liberal freedom here is freedom that is institutionalized in constitutional law, freedom and human rights are the foundation of democracy, because with these principles every citizen is given the right to choose and be elected. Christian liberalism, they want to return to the holy book because Christianity has various kinds of sects and interpretations of the holy book at this time, so liberal Protestant Christians want to return to the new teachings, because it is opposed by fundamentalism, therefore again, sects and sects are born again. currents in Christianity. Liberalism in Islam is a renewal of good life, in the study of fiqh, kalam science, and Sufism. They want to make reforms with certain grounds and reasons. So the MUI forbids the flow of religious liberalism, whereas in Christianity the flow of religious liberalism is not prohibited because the Christian religion, every time they have an understanding of their own religion, they immediately create their own sects and sects, because the Christian religion has no valid guidelines, the Bible follows the times. which is very different from Islam, whatever actions and actions are based on the Koran and hadith. The method used is a qualitative method, which is based on the theory of liberalism.

Abstract

Burnout in learning is an unpleasant emotional condition that arises when individuals engage in monotonous activities. Islamic Religious Education (PAI) subjects are often considered less engaging, causing students to become bored and disinterested. Therefore, it is crucial for PAI teachers to employ creative teaching methods to establish effective learning environments. The method utilized in this study is qualitative with a descriptive approach. Data sources were gathered from PAI teachers, fourth-grade homeroom teachers, and fourth-grade students through observations, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques involved reduction, presentation, and conclusion/verification processes. Further data validation was carried out by expanding observations and using triangulation. The primary objective of this research is to illustrate the creativity of PAI teachers in employing methods that foster effective teaching and learning environments. The results of this research demonstrate PAI teachers' creativity in using methods, which includes the integration of multiple suitable methods to create effective teaching and learning environments at SD N 13 Lubuk Alung.
