Abstract

RESUME: Peranan UKM (Usaha Kecil dan Menengah) sangat besar dalam hal penyediaan kesempatan usaha, lapangan kerja, dan peningkatan ekspor. UKM lebih mampu untuk bertahan lebih lama dari krisis ekonomi dibandingkan dengan perusahaan skala besar, karena mempunyai karakteristik yang lebih fleksibel dan lebih memanfaatkan sumber daya lokal, sehingga bisa diandalkan untuk mendukung ketahanan ekonomi. Peranan UKM harus diimbangi dengan kepemimpinan yang efektif di dalamnya, sehingga diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kinerja UKM di masa yang akan datang. Penelitian ini memiliki target khusus berupa lahirnya model kepemimpinan yang efektif bagi UKM. Dengan ditemukannya model kepemimpinan yang efektif ini, diharapkan seluruh UKM dapat menerapkannya, sehingga meningkatkan kinerja mereka. Metode penelitian yang diterapkan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitatif dengan menggunakan alat analisis statistik berupa SEM (Structural Equation Modeling), yang digabung dengan metode kualitatif untuk mengkonfirmasi hasil statistik. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa “Kepemimpinan yang efektif” berpengaruh terhadap “Kinerja UKM”. Penelitian ini menghasilkan model kepemimpinan yang efektif khusus untuk UKM. Kepemimpinan yang efektif akan tercipta jika memiliki tiga unsur berupa hubungan pimpinan dan bawahan, struktur tugas, dan kekuatan posisi pimpinan. Akhirnya, direkomendasikan agar Pemerintah Daerah memanfaatkan potensi UKM yang memilih “Hubungan pimpinan dan bawahan” dalam menciptakan “Kepemimpinan yang efektif” untuk dapat meningkatkan “Kinerja UKM”.KATA KUNCI: Kepemimpinan; Efektivitas; Kinerja; Usaha Kecil dan Menengah; Pemerintah Daerah. ABSTRACT: “Effective Leadership in Improving Performance of Small and Medium Enterprises”. The role of SMEs (Small and Medium Enterprises) can be seen in terms of providing a business opportunity, jobs, and increased exports. SMEs are able to survive longer than large-scale enterprises in facing the economic crisis, because they have the unique characteristics. The characteristics are more flexible and able to utilize local resources, so that they can be relied upon to support the economic security. The role of SMEs should be balanced with leadership effectiveness, so it can improve the performance of SMEs in the future. This study has a specific target such as the appearance of a leadership effectiveness model for SMEs. With the discovery of the leadership effectiveness model, it is expected that all SMEs can implement the model and improve their performance. The research method applied in this research is quantitative method by using statistical analysis tools, such as SEM (Structural Equation Modeling), combined with qualitative method to confirm the statistical results. The results of the research show that the “leadership effectiveness” takes effect on the “performance of SMEs”. This research creates output of leadership effectiveness model for SMEs. Leadership effectiveness will be created if it contains three elements, they are leader and subordinate relationship, task structure, and strength of leader position. Finally, it is recommended that local governments take advantage of the SMEs’ potential that choose “Leadership and subordinate relations” in creating “Effective leadership” to improve “SME performance”.KEY WORD: Leadership; Effectiveness; Performance; Small and Medium Enterprises; Local Government.  About the Authors: R. Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the effect of marketing capabilities in improving marketing performance. The method in this research uses a quantitative method with an associative approach. This research uses a sample of 37 coffee shops with the owner being the respondent. The technique in order to collect a number of data used for this research is primary data, namely observation, interviews and questionnaires and secondary data used is literature study. This research conducts testing to determine the valid and reliable data used. The technique to process a number of data is done using the correlation coefficient test, the coefficient of determination test, the simple linear regression test and the hypothesis test used is the significance test (T test). The conclusions of this research indicate that there is a significant influence of the marketing capability variable on marketing performance.

Abstract

Competitive advantage is an ability to create products that have more added value that can be used as strength to win the competition. The study was conducted on the furniture business of the City of Sukabumi, which wants to win the competition in an increasingly increasing number of competitors with similar businesses. The purpose of this study is to determine and understand the effect of differentiation strategies as an effort to realize competitive advantage in furniture SMEs. Starting with the desire to realize competitive advantage, the company needs to create a difference or privilege that is not owned by competitors to be used as strength in winning the competition. The method used to process this research data is quantitative with associative methods. With 50 respondents, namely furniture business owners or managers using IBM SPSS Version 23. The results of this research show that this research is categorized as having a very strong correlation with a value of 0.896. So that the conclusions in this research reveal the differentiation strategy has an influence in realizing competitive advantage by creating a difference both from product, service, personnel and image.

Abstract

Dunia usaha industri minuman dan makanan pada dekat ini mengalami peningkatan sebesar 7.88% ditahun 2015 dan 8.22% ditahun 2016 dengan semakin tingginya pertumbuhan industri minuman dan makanan persaingan antar perusahaan seperti Mayora Indah Tbk, Indofood CBD, Siantar Top dan Tiga Pilar Sejahtera menjadi lebih kompleks. Setiap perusahaan harus memiliki strategi pemasarannya masing-masing untuk mempertahankan daya saing dengan kompetitor lainnya, oleh karena itu penulis melakukan penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui posisi perusahaan Mayora Indah Tbk berdasarkan Boston Consulting Group Matrix (BCG) sehingga perusahaan dapat merencanakan strategi yang tepat untuk meningkatkan daya saing. Pada penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Dengan matriks BCG, dapat diketahui tingkat pertumbuhan pasar penjualan produk PT. Mayora Indah Tbk sebesar 13.44% yang berarti bahwa PT. Mayora Indah Tbk memiliki pertumbuhan pasar yang tinggi. Telah diketahui juga bahwa pangsa pasar relatif PT. Mayora Indah Tbk tahun 2017 sebesar 0,58 kali <1 yang artinya menunjukkan bahwa PT. Mayora Indah Tbk memiliki pangsa pasar lebih kecil dibandingkan dengan Indofood CBP karena nilai pangsa pasar relatif  Indofood CBP sebesar 1.71 kali >1. Dan berdasarkan matrik BCG PT. Mayora Indah Tbk 2017, letak posisi titik berada di kuadran Question Mark atau tanda tanya dengan indikasi pertumbuhan pasar yang tinggi dan pangsa pasarnya yang rendah. Ini berarti jumlah pertumbuhan penjualan Mayora tinggi dan pangsa pasar rendah. Strategi yang dapat di ambil adalah tetap berinvestasi pada produk atau bisnis unit yang berada dalam kategori Question Marks ini karena pertumbuhan pasar yang tinggi.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui nilai perusahaan pada PT.Indosat Tbk, PT.Telekomunikasi Indonesia Tbk dan PT. Smartfren Telcom Tbk periode 2016 - 2018 dengan memperhitungkan pengelolaan aset yang dimiliki perusahaan. metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan rasio nilai perusahaan Tobin’s Q. Hasil penelitian menunjukan pada PT.Indosat Tbk periode 2016 – 2017 nilai Q > 1 artinya pengelolaan aset padaperusahaan berhasil dan saham overvalued sedangkan periode 2018 nilai Q < 1 artinya pengelolaan aset gagal dan saham undervalued. Pada PT.Telekomunikasi Indonesia Tbk periode 2016 – 2018 nilai Q > 1 artinya pengelolaan aset berhasil dan sahan overvalued. Pada PT Smartfren Telcom Tbk periode 2016 – 2018 nilai Q < 1 artinya pengelolaan aset gagal dan saham undervalued. Diantara perusahaan tersebut yang memiliki nilai Q paling baik adalah PT.Telekomunikasi Indonesia Tbk. Nilai Q dalam kondisi overvalued artinya perusahaan memiliki nilai perusahaan yang baik.

Abstract

The economy of Sukabumi Regency from year to year is heavily influenced by development of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs). The SMEs are in the sector of service, trade and manufacture. Each year, the SMEs in Sukabumi Regency keep increased and can even be absorbing labor big enough. SMEs in the Regency of Sukabumi have proven resilience when it occurred Economic Crisis of 1998. Only the SME sector that survived from the collapse of the economy, while the bigger sectors were broken  by the crisis. However, the creation of employment by the SMEs in Sukabumi Regency and the amazing of the SMEs in defending themselves from the economic crisis, not accompanied with quality increase of their development mainly in the case of competitive advantage. Competitive advantage of SMEs in Sukabumi Regency generally operates experiencing problems. The problems are subscription with inefficiency of the cost, products without the unique which have the effect on the lack of competitiveness, and lack of concentration on the certain segments. The study provides findings that SMEs are business cultivated by many people, and SMEs become one of many hopes of society for improving their economical welfare. Thus, SMEs must have a competitive advantage in order to achieve solution to fix the economy of society. SMEs will have a competitive advantage if notice of at least 4 (four) elements namely: cost efficiency, product differentiation, rapid response and market focus. the components can be sorted based on the priority, as follows: product differentiation, market focus, cost efficiency and rapid response.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the fair price of shares and investment decisions fundamentallyby using the Price Earning Ratio approach seen from the development of the company’sfinancial condition. The fundamental variables used are ROE, EPS, DPS, PER, DPR. The typeof research used is quantitative descriptive. This study analyzed six companies as a sample,namely PT Delta Djakarta Tbk, PT Indofood Sukses Makmur Tbk, PT Kalbe Farma Tbk, PTMulti Bintang Indonesia Tbk, PT Jamu and Pharmaceutical Industry Sido Muncul Tbk and PTTempo Scan Pacific Tbk. The sample was obtained using purposive sampling technique. Theresults of this study indicate that PT. Delta Djakarta Tbk is in an overvalued position so thatthe investment decision that can be taken is by selling the shares. While PT Indofood SuksesMakmur Tbk, PT Kalbe Farma Tbk and PT Jamu and Pharmaceutical Industry Sido Muncul Tbkare in a correctly valued position so that the investment decision that can be taken is by holdingthe shares. While PT Multi Bintang Indonesia Tbk and PT. Abstract

This research aims to determine various stock investments with the Capital Asset Pricing Model(CAPM) method, to help investors pick efficient and inefficient stock. The population in thisstudy are all companies listing in Jakarta Islamic Index. The sampling technique used waspurposive sampling method and acquired 16 stocks. The results show that there was positiverelationship or non linear relationship between systematic risk and expected return. There are13 stocks included on efficient and investment decisions should be taken by investors was tobuy efficient stocks, while there are 3 stocks included on inefficient and investment decisionsshould be taken by investors was to sell inefficient stocks.Keywords: Capital Asset Pricing Model (CAPM), Systematic Risk, Investment Decisions

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the practice of income smoothing in food and beverageindustry companies. Income smoothing is the intentional reduction of earnings fluctuations inan effort to stabilize profits to be considered normal for a company. This data is obtained fromwww.idx.co.id. The population in this study were food and beverage companies listed on theIndonesia Stock Exchange for the period of 2014-2016. The sampling technique used wasusing the purposive sampling method from 16 samples to 10 samples used. The data analysistechnique of this research is descriptive statistical analysis techniques. To calculate incomesmoothing using the Eckel Index formula. The results of this study indicate that 6 companiescarry out income smoothing practices and 4 companies do not.Keywords: Income Smoothing, Index Eckel

Abstract

The study aims to determine about the effect of selebgram power and visibility to purchase intention on local fashion product in instagram, as well as to see how much the influence of selebgram power and visibility to purchase intention partially or simultaneously. The method use in this research is descriptive verificative and quantitative approaches with multiple linear regression as a data analysis technique. Research result obtained show that power, visibility and purchase intentions in the good category. The magnitude of the effect of selebgram power and visibility on purchases intention on instagram by Rachel Vennya after testing simultaneously and partially have a positif and significant influence. It’s amounted to 48,2%, while the remaining 51,8% are influenced by other variables not examined in this research.
