Abstract

This article discusses the conflict between the people of North Bali and the Dutch colonialism, especially in Banjar Village, which was known as the Banjar War which took place in 1868. The Balinese resistance war that broke out in various areas became known as puputan, which in a dictionary means finish and refers to the meaning that in war, self-respect must include everything, including body and soul. The main cause of this opposition started when the Dutch lowered and replaced the Banjar retainer Ida Made Rai. This research was conducted using historical methods, including heuristics, criticism, synthesis and historiography. The results of this study found that the resistance was motivated by Dutch politics and intervention to colonize the total area of Bali, especially Buleleng and Banjar Villages. This decision has a logical crisis from the critical attitude of the Banjar people with the crisis situation at that time. The uniqueness of this prohibition is the critical attitude and methods of clashing as a last resort in their war which gave birth to the ideology of Sura Magadha.

Abstract

Pendidikan karakter adalah suatu proses penerapan nilai-nlai moral dan agama pada peserta didik melalui ilmu-ilmu pengetahuan, penerapan nilai-nilai tersebut baik terhadap diri sendiri, keluarga, sesama teman, terhadap pendidik dan lingkungan sekitar maupun Tuhan Yang Maha Esa. Perkembangan sosial anak usia sekolah dasar sudah bertambah, dari yang awalnya hanya bersosial dengan keluaga di rumah, kemudian berangsur-angsur mengenal orang-orang disekitarnya. Anak pada usia ini juga telah mengenal gaya hidup digital, baik itu dari rumah, teman-teman, sekolah dan lingkungan sekitar. Era digital tidak hanya punya dampak positif, tapi juga berdampak negatif, disinilah peran kita sebagai orang tua, pendidik dan masyarakat dewasa membimbing dan mengawasi anak untuk menjalaninya dengan baik, tepat, dan bermanfaat positif bagi anak itu sendiri.

Abstract

"Canang Sari," a distinctive flower offering in Balinese culture, holds profound significance as a symbol of Padma Asta Dala. Within the concept of Padma Asta Dala, each petal of the lotus represents essential aspects in the pursuit of spiritual balance. This article elaborates on the close relationship between Canang Sari and this concept, revealing how the arrangement and elements of Canang Sari reflect the symbolism of Dharma (duty), Adharma (disobedience), Lobha (greed), and Parama (perfection). Canang Sari serves as a potent visual reflection of life philosophy and spiritual quest in Balinese culture. This study employs qualitative observation and document analysis, with the author immersing themselves in the field. Through Canang Sari, the Balinese community immortalizes and celebrates harmony between humans, nature, and the divine. This article provides insights into the symbolic and practical significance of Canang Sari as a representation of the Padma Asta Dala concept in daily Balinese life. Despite the passage of time, Canang Sari remains a robust cultural symbol. As a manifestation of Padma Asta Dala, Canang Sari guides the Balinese people in seeking life harmony, conquering emotional challenges, and attaining inner peace. In every carefully arranged flower and leaf, a deeper spiritual message is unveiled, uniting nature, spirit, and the divine. Canang Sari not only adorns the corners of sacred places but also radiates symbolic meaning, teaching that balance is the key to achieving perfection in the spiritual journey.

Abstract

Observing the problem of achieving minimum mastery requirements for learning, it is essentially controlled by the learning process, not only by good input. In this case, a teacher must be able to design learning as accurately as possible based on the capacity of students. Teachers can use a humanistic approach to help students learn more effectively. As in this study, the Humanistic Approach can help students of PSABB STAH Study Program Kuturan Singaraja Negeri in improving their learning outcomes. The results of this study are as follows, student learning outcomes also experienced a significant increase in cycle I, the average student learning outcomes were 68, increased to 78 in cycle II and in cycle III to 89. While seen from classical completeness there was also an increase from 45% in the first cycle, to 63% in the second cycle and increased to 92% in the third cycle

Abstract

Cerita Rakyat Bali (Satua). Satua adalah cerita rakyat yang di wariskan secara turun-temurun. Satua merupakan karya sastra lisan yang dapat dengan mudah oleh anak-anak karena nilai-nilai yang terkandung di dalamnya, Satua memiliki peran dan fungsi penting dalam kehidupan masyarakat serta memberikan hiburan yang bertujuan untuk mengisi waktu luang dan menyampaikan berbagai nilai kehidupan termasuk pesan agama dan moral melalui karakter dan dialog. Penelitian ini mendeskripsikan nilai-nilai kepribadian Pan Angklung Gadang sebagai sumber pendidikan karakter. Teknik analisis penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif, yang menjadi objek dalam penelitian ini adalah Kumpulan Satua Bali karya Suwija Bali 2019. Dalam penelitian, pengumpulan data dimulai dengan mengamati subjek. Kemudian membaca teks Satua Pan Angklung Gadang dan kisah lengkapnya. Langkah terakhir untuk mencatat informasi yang diterima. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dalam tiga, translasi, klasifikasi dan analisis struktur menggunakan teknik hermeneutik. Hasil analisis pada satua Pan Angklung Gadang diperoleh terdapat sembilan pendidikan karakter dalam yakni, nilai-nilai agama, kejujuran, toleransi, disiplin, kreativitas, demokrasi, rasa ingin tahu, komunikasi dan tanggung jawab. Nilai-nilai ini bersifat universal dan karenanya dapat dijadikan sebagai sumber pendidikan karakter.

Abstract

In the implementation process, several positive and negative phenomena were found in the implementation of the online or online lecture system carried out by universities. The readiness of lecturers and students is required to be adaptive so that the learning process can run well. This research was conducted to determine the profile of online learning as a study and evaluation material in the implementation of lectures. The research population was all students of the communication science study program, totaling 259 people. The data collection technique used a questionnaire which was distributed to all students. For data analysis techniques using quantitative descriptive analysis. The results showed that the learning profile based on the variables studied showed that there were several things that needed to be evaluated and improved. Meanwhile, several aspects that become the main concern to be implemented are structural, ability to motivate students, task completion, synthesis and time efficiency.

Abstract

Stoikisme merupakan cara pandang yang sering digunakan oleh para pangawi dalam menulis karya sastranya. Hidup penuh kesadaran semacam hubungan-hubungan ritmis yang dibangun sebagai bentuk apresiasi terhadap olah kata, olah rasa, dan olah pikiran antara filsuf dengan pangawi. Kekawin Dharma Putus, mengungkapkan kesadaran kolektif diri terhadap pandangan hidup. Sebagai teks sastra, Kekawin Dharma Putus, dianalisis menggunakan Teori Semiotika dari Pierce untuk mengungkapan ikon, indeks, simbol stoikisme dan kesadaran hidup.

Abstract

One of the religious ceremonies belonging to the Manusa yaja ceremony is the Ngekeb ceremony which is contained in the procession of the Metatah ceremony / tooth cutting. The Ngekeb ceremony means to bring humans closer to their natural environment, to each other and to God. The Ngekeb ceremony is carried out in a room or in a gedong. During the procession of the Ngekeb ceremony someone who carries out this ceremony is not allowed to leave the room or gedong. The forms of implementation of the Ngekeb Ceremony are: 1) Upakara facilities at the Ngekeb Ceremony using banten pejati, byakala and prayascita 2) The procession of the Ngekeb Ceremony starting from the initial stage, the core stage to the final stage of the Ngekeb Ceremony 3) The time of the Ngekeb ceremony being carried out the day before the ceremony mepandes 4) The clothes at the Ngekeb Ceremony are middle traditional clothes 5) The Pamuput at the Ngekeb Ceremony is a Stakeholder. Functions of the Ngekeb Ceremony a) Control function to be able to control thoughts, words and actions b) Religious function is seen when the holder leads prayers using offerings or Nyekeb ceremony facilities. Social can be seen when the cohesiveness of the community in the implementation of the Ngekeb Ceremony. In the Ngekeb ceremony it has meanings, namely: a) Symbolic meaning, namely through the means used in the Nyekeb ceremony in the form of an upakara or offering b) Philosophical meaning in the Ngekeb Ceremony Implementation This Ngekeb ceremony is the creation of nature that begins with darkness, then gets light and the creation process occurs. . c) The meaning of ethics at the Ngekeb Ceremony is contained in the behavior of the people who are very obedient to their own sanctity, besides that the Ngekeb ceremony is held to provide character education in the form of advice as spiritual guidelines for children.

Abstract

Teks Purwa Bhumi Kamulan itu sendiri merupakan sebuah teks yang sudah ditulis dalam bentuk tulisan latin yang mudah untuk dibaca dan bahasa yang digunakan adalah Bahasa Jawa Kuna. Purwa Bhumi Kamulan ini menguraikan proses penciptaan dunia ini secara mitologi. Dalam teks purwa bumi kamulan mengandung ajaran. Dalam teks purwa bumi kamulan mengandung ajaran Saguna Brahaman dan terdapat pula ajaran panca korsika sehingga dalam teks purwa bumi kamulan mengandung ajaran ketuhanan yang menyebutkan bahwa Bhatara dan bhatari asal mula segala sesuatu yang ada di Dunia ini. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Sumber data yang digunakan  adalah data primer yang bersumber pada literatur/pustaka. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode kepustakaan dan dokumentasi. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis data dengan teknik deskriptif kualitatif.

Abstract

The development process that will be carried out actually functions to maintain the sustainability, existence and cleanliness of the environment. Human life as an individual who is a social creature in his life is always side by side with one another. The ecological crisis is increasing in every process of life. This crisis becomes a complex problem for people's lives if it is not handled properly. In order to realize a harmonious life in the modern era with the preservation of the existence of the universe, basic principles are needed as guidelines for Hindus to actualize in their lives by understanding the teachings of Sad Kertih, one of its parts and applying them in everyday life. it is stated that Sad Kerti's writing is separated so that the word has the meaning of six noble behaviors that are embodied in building the order of Balinese life. However, if the writings of SadKerti become one, then the word Sad is actually Sat which means truth and kert which means noble behavior. Within the six concepts referred to in Sad Kerti there are Atma Kertih, Samudra Kertih, Wana Kertih, Danu Kertih, Jagat Kertih, and Jana Kertih. With Sad Kertih's teachings the goal is actualized as the basis of the order of life, besides that with the presence of Nangun Sat Kerti's vision Loka Bali further strengthens the values of Sad Kertih's teachings because in that vision the values of Sad Kertih's teachings are also outlined so that the Hindu community is increasingly convinced that Sad Kertih is a religious teaching that should be used as a basis in the order of life.
