Abstract

Solar panels are an important utilization in generating renewable energy, but high temperatures can reduce energy conversion efficiency and shorten the lifetime of solar panels. This research aims to explore and evaluate the utilization of a combination of heatsink material and cooling water block as a solution to reduce the heat generated by solar panels. The research method includes the design and manufacture of a prototype consisting of solar panels mounted on a combination of heatsink material and water block. Experiments were conducted by varying the use of passive cooling and the absence of cooling on solar panels according to environmental conditions to evaluate the effectiveness of the system in reducing the temperature of solar panels. A power increase of 43.3% was achieved by comparing the system without cooling design with the passive cooling design system. The results showed that the use of a combination of heatsink material and cooling water block significantly reduced the solar panel temperature under various operational conditions. In addition, data analysis showed an increase in the energy conversion efficiency of the solar panel after the implementation of the cooling system. This research makes an important contribution to the development of more efficient and durable solar panel technology by addressing the problem of heat generation.

Abstract

The paper attempts a search   for a predominant worldview to drive the ASEAN vision. It recognizes   the seemingly complex and diverse backgrounds from which ASEAN member countries emerged, but believes that for resounding impact to be made, the body must have presuppositions representing the lens through which its view of life is seen.  In the face of possible policy imperatives of harnessing resources of member states and forging inclusiveness   with a regional approach, it raises the critical   concern of addressing the   identity   issue of ASEAN, without which the community will not go beyond the elite level. It opines that   only at the grassroots level will all inherent challenges and possible dangers that might ensue from the community   be   effectively addressed. Against the backdrop of diversity of language, culture, religion, government and other social structure, the paper believes that   ASEAN member states share some destinies which include unemployment, inequality, high population growth, ethnic conflicts, environmental degradation, malnutrition and poverty. The images of diversity and the rallying point of shared destinies seem like arrows pointing in one direction, and also present another profound revelation: the dynamics of interaction in all of the ASEAN countries are directly related to the communication pattern that consequently produced their economic downturn.  The paper concludes that a worldview anchored on the unifying factors of the shared destinies among ASEAN member states, and the strong shield for their realization in DEVCOM, may provide the needed wisdom and perspective for an ASEAN worldview.

Abstract

Control and monitoring systems in poultry farm cages are very necessary, especially for broiler farmers because the harvest process from growth to ready to harvest takes 30 to 35 days with a weight per tail between 1.5-2.0 kg. Important variables that are prioritized in broiler cages, namely temperature, humidity and lighting as well as the availability of feed and drinks on time, determine the quality and quantity of the broiler harvest. The solution to these problems requires a system that can work automatically with real-time monitoring features so that important variables in the chicken coop can be really well maintained. This research uses a combination of DHT11 temperature and humidity sensors, proximity sensors as sensors to check the availability of water and feed in containers, LDR light sensors and GY-302 Lux sensors, Real Time Clock timer modules to organize scheduling the availability of drinking water and chicken feed. These sensors will provide data to the ESP32 controller to control outputs such as heating and cooling and valves for opening and closing the stock of drinking water and feed. This system has also been integrated with the Internet of Things so that the condition of the chicken coop can be flexibly monitored remotely using a Smartphone or laptop utilizing the internet network. Based on the tests that have been carried out, it proves that the system has worked well in maintaining important variables in the chicken coop and has been well integrated based on the Internet of Things.

Abstract

In today's digital age the use of the Internet in particular social media has become a passion for teenagers. It has led to a decline in ethics and morals in mainstream youth, where social values are becoming one of the identities of indonesians. The article was created because of the writer's interest in bullying and even the death threats made by Indonesian netizens on Thai social media (facebook), which in turn sparked a fight that even prompted hate speech among citizens. The case of course affects Indonesian identity in the eyes of other countries. The main purpose of the article is to learn the level of media awareness and ethics in young children and to analyze how social media ethics can affect national identity. The authors further study using qualitative methods using social social samples (15-17 year old) and supported by the review literature. According to research, the authors have tried to provide some of the problem solutions: socialized media education, maximize family roles as the first "teacher", and government policies on social media users.
