Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh desain kemasan, citra merek, dan kualitas produk terhadap keputusan pembelian produk kecantikan Barenbliss di Kota Samarinda. Metode analisis statistik yang digunakan adalah Partial Least Squares (PLS) dengan bantuan aplikasi SmartPLS. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan penyebaran kuesioner, dengan teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling. Jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 85 responden. Hasil yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa desain kemasan berpengaruh secara positif dan signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian, citra merek berpengaruh secara positif dan signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian, serta kualitas produk berpengaruh secara positif dan signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian.

Abstract

Economic globalization has significantly driven the increase in international trade activities, cross-border investments, and global capital flows, making exchange rates and foreign currency crucial elements in an open economy. This study aims to comprehensively examine the concept of exchange rates and foreign currency, their strategic role in the global economy, and the factors influencing exchange rate movements and volatility. The method employed in this study is a descriptive-qualitative approach through a literature review of macroeconomic theories, foreign exchange markets, exchange rate systems, and exchange rate risk management practices. The findings indicate that exchange rates not only function as a medium of currency exchange but also reflect fundamental economic strength, monetary stability, and market participants' expectations regarding a country's prospects. Foreign currency plays an important role in facilitating international trade, investment, and global economic integration; however, high exchange rate fluctuations have the potential to create economic risks, particularly for developing countries. Exchange rate volatility is influenced by fundamental and technical factors, including inflation, interest rates, national income, government policies, and market speculation. This study confirms that exchange rate management and foreign exchange risk mitigation are strategic necessities for governments, businesses, and financial institutions to maintain economic stability and enhance national competitiveness in facing the dynamics of the global economy.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi minat beli mahasiswa terhadap produk UMKM di Kabupaten Kolaka. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain survei deskriptif. Populasi berjumlah 199 mahasiswa dari lima program studi di Politeknik Negeri Ujung Pandang PSDKU Kolaka, dengan sampel 30 responden yang dipilih melalui purposive sampling. Instrumen penelitian berupa kuesioner skala Likert 1–5 yang mengukur kualitas produk, harga, promosi, brand image, kesadaran lokal, dan minat beli. Analisis dilakukan menggunakan statistik deskriptif melalui perhitungan rata-rata dan persentase. Hasil menunjukkan seluruh variabel berada pada kategori tinggi (mean > 3,41). Harga (mean = 4,07) dan minat beli (mean = 4,10) memperoleh skor tertinggi. Mayoritas mahasiswa menyatakan tertarik membeli, menilai harga sesuai, dan bersedia merekomendasikan produk UMKM. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa kualitas dan harga menjadi faktor dominan dalam membentuk minat beli mahasiswa.

Abstract

The development of digital technology encourages companies to optimize their Sales Management Information Systems (MIS) through the application of Artificial Intelligence (AI). AI enables the automation of business processes, predictive data analysis, and personalization of customer services, which have an impact on increasing operational efficiency and company profitability. This study aims to analyze the forms of AI implementation in Sales MIS, the benefits generated, and the challenges faced in its application. The method used is a descriptive approach through literature studies, document analysis, and observation. The results of the study indicate that AI implementation increases operational efficiency, accelerates decision-making, and improves the quality of customer service. However, the main challenges include data quality, information privacy, and the readiness of human resources. Abstract

No country can live alone. This is due to the limitations of the resources it possesses. Therefore, a country will need other countries. In order to fulfill their needs, every country engages in trade relations. This trade relationship between countries is also called international trade. Why does every country engage in international trade? Because by engaging in international trade, many benefits are obtained, although there are also losses that will be incurred. Each country also has its own policies to protect their domestic economy from the negative impacts of competition arising from international trade. International trade allows the entry of goods and services from abroad into the country. If goods and services from abroad are more abundant and more in demand by the public compared to domestic products, then this will have a negative impact on the domestic economy. Therefore, the government needs to formulate an international trade policy.

Abstract

This research aims to find out the influence of leadership style, work motivation, and discipline on employee performance at PT Citra Gaya Nusantara. This research uses Non Probability Sampling Technique with Saturated Sampling method. The sample in this study is 40 employees and the sample used is 40 respondents calculated using the Slovin formula. Data analysis using multiple linear regression using SPSS software version 22. The results of this study show that the variables of leadership style and discipline have a significant effect on employee performance, while work motivation does not affect employee performance. The results of this research are expected to improve employee performance at PT Citra Gaya Nusantara.

Abstract

The gap between the targets set by the company and the achievements of the Working Unit Support Desk has resulted in the failure to accomplish several organizational objectives. This condition indicates the need to improve employee performance to ensure that the established targets can be achieved optimally. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the effect of leadership, human resource development, and workload on employee performance at the Working Unit Support Desk of PT. Sigma Cipta Caraka, South Tangerang. This research employs a quantitative approach using a non-probability sampling technique with the saturated sampling method. The population of this study consists of 40 employees, all of whom were included as research samples, resulting in a total of 40 respondents. Data analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression with the assistance of SPSS version 22. The results of the study indicate that leadership, human resource development, and workload have a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Therefore, the findings of this research are expected to provide practical contributions for the company in formulating policies aimed at improving employee performance at the Working Unit Support Desk of PT. Sigma Cipta Caraka, South Tangerang.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas kritik pemikiran M. Umer Chapra terhadap sistem bunga serta relevansinya dalam perkembangan perbankan syariah di Indonesia. Latar belakang penelitian didasarkan pada masih dominannya sistem bunga dalam ekonomi konvensional yang dinilai berpotensi menimbulkan ketimpangan ekonomi dan ketidakadilan sosial, sehingga mendorong munculnya alternatif sistem keuangan berbasis syariah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kritik Umer Chapra terhadap sistem bunga, menjelaskan konsep alternatif yang ditawarkan melalui mekanisme bagi hasil, serta mengkaji relevansi pemikirannya dalam konteks sistem perbankan di Indonesia. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian kepustakaan (library research) melalui analisis isi terhadap berbagai literatur yang berkaitan dengan pemikiran ekonomi Chapra. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Chapra memandang sistem bunga sebagai salah satu penyebab ketidakstabilan ekonomi dan ketimpangan distribusi kekayaan, sehingga diperlukan sistem keuangan yang berlandaskan keadilan, kemitraan, dan tanggung jawab sosial melalui prinsip bagi hasil. Implikasi penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pemikiran Chapra relevan dalam mendukung pengembangan perbankan syariah di Indonesia sebagai sistem keuangan yang lebih adil, stabil, dan berorientasi pada kesejahteraan masyarakat.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the effect of the physical work environment and work culture on the performance of employees at PT Umara Cipta Rasa. The method used is a quantitative research type with an associative approach. The sampling technique employed is saturated sampling, resulting in a sample of 53 respondents. Data analysis includes validity testing, reliability testing, classical assumption testing, regression analysis, correlation coefficients, determination coefficients, and hypothesis testing. The results of this study indicate that the physical work environment has a significant effect on employee performance, with the regression equation Y = 19.604 + 0.566 X1. The hypothesis test shows that the calculated t value is greater than the table t value (8.826 > 2.00856).Thus H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. Organizational culture has a significant effect on employee performance with the regression equation Y = 10,300 + 0,751 X2 work environment and organizational culture simultaneously have a significant effect on employee performance with the regression equation Y = 8,946 + 0,363 X1 + 0,446 X2.  Hypothesis testing obtained a calculated F value > Ftable or (67,707 > 3,18). Thus, H0 is rejected and H3 is accepted. From the results above, the suggestion is to further improve all aspects of the physical work environment, and especially the Work Culture, in this case the company must improve aspects related to self-awareness, aggressiveness, personality, performance and team orientation so that performance is achieved can be maximized.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of motivation and work discipline on employee performance partially and simultaneously at PT. Timexs Indonesia employees in Tangerang Regency. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method. Data were obtained through interviews, questionnaires, and supported by literature studies. Data processing was carried out using SPSS version 29 with analysis techniques in the form of descriptive statistics, data quality tests, classical assumption tests, linear regression analysis, coefficient of determination tests, and hypothesis tests. The research sample consisted of 60 respondents who were all employees of PT. Timexs Indonesia in Tangerang Regency. The results of the study indicate that motivation partially has a positive and significant effect on employee performance with a regression equation of KK = 30.494 + 0.899M, a coefficient of determination of 52.6%, and a t-value ofcount 3,946 > ttable1.672 and a significance of 0.000 < 0.05. Work discipline also has a positive and significant effect on employee performance with a regression equation of KK = 25.669 + 0.897DK, a coefficient of determination of 46.2%, and a t-value ofcount 2,637 > ttable1.672 and a significance of 0.011 < 0.05. Simultaneously, motivation and work discipline have a significant effect on employee performance with the regression equation KK = 17.169 + 0.607M + 0.432DK + ε. This is evidenced by the F valuecount 38,974 > Ftable3.159 and significance 0.000 < 0.05
